Luci accepts the files and quickly skims them as they continue. "I'm afraid these notes fairly clearly states we need one each." Luci points out as soon as he finishes reading. "I wouldn't go as far as saying we're screwed though but unless anyone has any other ideas I believe we either need to find another passcard or one of us will have to wait outside the museum."
A haunting memory of Maryam Bikram’s final moments flashes before Dubh’s eyes as he suddenly recalls that he knows where to find a fourth passcard.
Windarë recalls sensing an aura of divination magic coming from each guard’s belt pouch and she is able to deduce that she was detecting the presence of more passcards, one on each guard.
"If not all of us can go in, I can stand lookout somewhere. Maybe I go to the front of the museum and if you guys do something that causes the city watch to come I can try to slow them down or lead them away somehow."
(Ooc I would prefer to go in. Maybe Dubb goes in and grabs the card off the dead body and someone comes back to give it to me...but since Joorin doesn't know about the other passcard yet he is spit balling other solutions.)

"I was thinking just who opened a door needed... Crap," Dubh answsers.
"Wait... Are there any spells on the basement? If we can all enter that then grabbing another pass will be easy peasy," he quickly follows up. "If there's not one amongst all the crap laying around down there then just sneak up, knock out the first guard we see, and toss their pass down for Joorin and Windarë... Oh, wait. Ok. Two guards."
Windarë raises a brow at Luci's admonishment to hurry. But she stands and moves with the others, leaving her mostly unfinished wine.
As the group approaches the hidden entrance, she adds to the commentary. "Yes, it would be nice to get us all inside. But two passes and four of us might make that difficult. Though we really just have to avoid the wards. And perhaps the statues. I think that's possible. (She tries to consider if there might be places a person couldn't get past without the pass.)
"I can certainly keep an eye out for wards on the way in and in the basement. None were mentioned in that note however."
"Let's proceed then. Mr. Dhiabal, please lead the way. Ms. Treynori, please advice us as soon as we come close to an alarm." Luci says with a confident smile. "And even though we don't know the fate of Ms. Ker yet I must insist while we are in the museum we proceed with caution, we won't help her by setting off any alarms or getting noticed by the guards."

Parr cracked the secret door into the gemstone room slightly and looked about to see if anything had changed since she last checked.

If all was clear she hefted the bucket and moved towards the plinth the Stone was displayed on, checking it over for any sign of mechanical wards or protections.
Dubh leads the others to and into the secret entrance as stealthily as he can. No point in revealing the secret tunnel until they are done using it for their own nefarious needs…
Once inside the tunnel Dubh asks for the return of his short sword from the bag. “Hopefully won’t need it, won’t have time to retrieve it if I do,” he explains. Once rearmed he leads the others through the tunnel and into the basement, assuming no unexpected problems arise. Once there he will indicate the various crates and say the jewels are in some of these, perhaps another pass card or two if we’re lucky.
“I’ll search this one,” he states, standing by the crate with the dead guard. “You all check around over there.”
Dubh does his best to open his crate while the others are preoccupied looking elsewhere and to quickly grab the pass card off the body before resealing it.
The Gemstone Wing appears unchanged. Parr notices tiny glyphs on the base of the egg’s pedestal and on the door frames, the Arcane Lock trap that Luci previously warned of. She can also see similar glyphs on the secret door, indicating that it too will lock if the system is triggered.
Following instructions and with a quiet word of luck to guide him in the right direction, Joorin makes a circle of the room looking for crates that might contain valuable add on items for their heist. Having the bag of holding gives him a lot of flexibility...he takes pretty much whatever might be sellable for a coin or two, will fit in the bag, and is not nailed down.

Checking the southeast area that Dubh indicated, Luci quickly finds a small box of gems and a crate filled with raw silver ore. It looks to be about 20 pounds of loot in total.
A small alcove in the southwest corner of the basement is stacked high with boxes and crates that remain unchecked.
As Luci notices Joorin go about and loot the place he is about to say something about this heist being about saving the world and not about plundering a cultural institution, but then he reminds himself of the absolutely appaling treatment he got from the curate, so he simply gives the lucky halfling an encouraging nod and smile.
If Dubh can get the pass card off the body he then reseals that crate and then checks a couple others before finding the card in one of those. “Looks like we just need one more,” he notes after giving the pass card to… I guess whoever has the bag of holding? We’ll need that for sure.
“We don’t need clean this place out, just grab enough so it doesn’t look like we only wanted the egg,” he declares before moving up the stairs to listen at the guardroom door try try and see if he can hear anyone in there.
Dubh moves up the stairs and listens for any sign of danger but he hears nothing beyond the sound of his own pulse pounding.
As Joorin circles the basement, he is suddenly and astutely aware of one of the crates in the southwest alcove that appears to be bleeding from a gaping wound. And he can’t be entirely sure, but the bleeding crate may have just blinked. He gives his head a shake trying to determine if this is a lingering effect from his recent overindulgence.

"Excellent work Mr. Dhiabal, found another passcard laying around in that crate did you?"Luci comments teasingly with a wry smile.
"I disagree Mr. Dhiabal, better make this ruse as convincingly as possible, please loot away Mr. Quickstep." Luci says encouragingly and with glee over getting his petty revenge on the obnoxious curate, handing the halfling the box of gems he found after admiring them for a moment. He then steps closer to the stairs to listen for the sounds of guards.
"My sincere apologies Mr Dhiabal but I was merely trying to help out. It's generally a bit hard to answer that question when you don't know what if anything the asking person has heard, but as I didn't hear anything in particular I would have to say no." Luci says with a brief confused frown, taking a step back from the stairs again and checking on the progress of Windarë. "So where can we expect to run into the first alarm if we head towards the Gemstone wing Ms. Treynori?" He asks with a curious smile.
"No worries Luci, it's my fault for not hearing you ask what I heard. Probably 'cause my ear was to the door and all..." Dubh replies and then opens the door and steps into the Guard's Office he's been in and out of seemingly a dozen times this day.

Luci also doesn’t hear anything in the immediate vicinity of the stairs.
"So, hear anything that I didn't hear?" Dubh asks with a roll of his eyes.
