Tram: You return to the atrium where Rovina awaits.
"Congratulations, with this, your apprenticeship is complete. You are ready for the next step in becoming a Mage of High Sorcery." She hands you an ornate scroll and a spellbook emblazoned with the symbol of the Mages of High Sorcery.
"The spellbook is yours. It's a gift, and though you aren't the type to write your spells out, you may do with it what you wish. The scroll is for you to give to Wyhan, a mage who resides in Kalaman, a large city near Vogler, the village you are headed to remember your friend. Do not open the scroll under any circumstances."

“Yes. I won’t open the scroll and to give it to Wyhan. Thank you for helping me on my journey. “ with that Tram puts the items in his pack and heads down the road to Kalaman. But he thinks and first, I need to go to Vogler before Kalaman for dear friend Ispin.
Jsuhu, a middle aged half elf with long blond hair, approaches Matti. "Hello, my name is Jushu. What is yours? I heard that we, sadly, lost a mutual friend. Ispin. I knew him a long time ago, and I am gald to be getting the chance to meet his other friends. We didn't get to spend much time together, but he visited me and my family and taught me the basics of swordplay. How did you first meet him?"
The female dwarf with the undercut red hair extends a hand for shaking. "Matti, Matti Silverstorm. Yes, Ispin, what a guy! Reorx broke the mould when Ispin was made. An important item was stolen from me, and Ispin retrieved it before I even realised it was missing!" She smiles at the memory, but then her face clouds over. "The thought of him lying there... It makes me so..." Her fists clench and unclench, and she looks as if she might haul off and hit something, but she closes her eyes and breathes carefully until she calms down. "Sorry," she says. "I can get a little...worked up about things."
Tram: The next morning you join a caravan heading north to Kalaman, Vogler will just be a short detour near the end of the journey. At one of the stops, you overhear a dwarf and a half-elf discussing memories of Ispin.

Hort, Kalindi: You meet up on a boat from Southern and Northern Ergoth. You realize you are both traveling to Ispin's funeral. Feel free to RP your meeting.
@Kalindi
Hort is stoically resisting the urge to throw up as they go skim over the waves, his hooved feen clacking against the wood trying to get his 'sea legs'. He looks up at Kalindi "I hate the water... You?"
The tanned elf glances up at the minotaur, mossy green eyes glimmering in light concern as she takes in the clearly unsteady Hort. Despite her more earthy complexion, she appears considerably at ease on the boat – casually leaning against the wooden rails.
"I'm quite alright with the waves. There's a certain peacefulness to the rocking motion I suppose." She comments with a slight shrug of her shoulders, turning to take in the view of the waters.
Tram mulling over the past events, stirs when he hears Ispin's name mentioned. He hops over and starts "You guys know Ispin? WOW. I know him.." with a more sullen face, "... knewhim." In a bit more serious tone. "He gave me the courage to pursue my dream of using magic. Oh, sorry, name's Tram, Tram Spidersilk."
"I'm quite alright with the waves. There's a certain peacefulness to the rocking motion I suppose." She comments with a slight shrug of her shoulders, turning to take in the view of the waters.
"I suppose." He says in a tone that conveys both respect and envy "So, we both know Ispen, but I'd like to know you. Where I'm from it's customary that I introduce myself first, so he goes."
He clears his throat "I am Hort Halfhelm, novice knight of Solamnia, breaker of swords, chaser of dreams. May I have the pleasure of your introduction?"
(This may not be the first time you've heard this... It may not even be the first time he's said it to you)

With an amused up turn of her lips, the wood elf once again turns to face Hort. She makes no comment on his repetition and gives a half bow/curtsy.
"Kalindi Eilxidor. Of the Kagonesti Twilight Clan. A pleasure to make your acquaintance." Her voice is smooth, eyes glimmering from the reflections of the sun on water.
"The pleasure is entirely mine. In fact it would bring me even greater pleasure if I were granted the pleasure of officially escorting you to Ispins eulogy... I said pleasure too much didn't I... I am so sorry"
He flexes his hands awkwardly on the rail of the boat

Kalindi bites back a laugh, "You are certainly a strange one, Sir Hort. I don't believe I've ever met someone of your kind."
She tips her head at him, silky waves of near-black hair falling to frame her face.
"We're both already on the way, no?" Eyes once again catching the sun's light as the elf looks out over the water, "I would not mind your escort."
"Nice to meet you all too. Yes, I was his friend and I will miss him dearly." Tram says with a tear. "Yes, I am traveling to attend his funeral. I'm sure it will be a big evet, knowing him."
Boat Folk: You dock at Kalaman and join a small party of merchants heading to Vogler. A day south of the city, you meet a large caravan heading to Kalaman.
Caravan Peeps: You are camped a day south of Kalaman near the road to Vogler when you encounter a small group of merchants and some tagalongs. You learn they are heading to Vogler too and decide to join them as there have been rumors of trouble not too far off and you assume safety in numbers.
All: You form of a smallish group traveling towards Vogler. It comes out that you all are traveling to Ispin's funeral, save the merchants.

Hort, Kalindi, Matti: You all have seperately been having visions throughout your lives, that evening, you have one in a dream.
You stand at the center of a forest clearing. Clashing steel echoes from the thicket beyond. As you look around, you realize piles of bodies cover the ground. One of the fallen clutches something against their chest. You’re not sure what it is, but you feel the urge to reach for it. Before you can, the object glows and then flashes with intense light.
Some details vary between you as you recall the vision in your mind: Hort, you heard heavy hoofbeats in addition to the sounds of battle. Matti, sparks in the distance, and the warm orange glow of of a forge. Kalindi, the sounds of a bubbling stream and a whiff of lavender. The three of you wake up and all realize the object was an amulet with a symbol you do not recognize. For Hort, it was a bison's head, Kalindi, a symbol in threadwork resembling an '8' on its side. Matti saw a smith's hammer.
(Ignore the extra amulets)
You quickly realize the three of you are the only one in the camp, and all your belongings are missing.

Kalindi jolts awake, the image of a symbol still burning in her mind. Her focus lingers on the dream, only snapping back to reality at Matti's shouts.
"What is all the commotion for?" She stands, stretching her limbs with a slight pop before glancing around. Her brows furrow at the distinct lack of people and items.
"At ease for a moment. It would do you well to not react with such anger outright. Perhaps they have simply moved a few paces ahead of us." Mossy-green eyes peer at their surroundings carefully, attempting to find a trace of where the rest of their group had gone.

"Its nice to meet you Tram. My name is Jushu. Yes, we knew Ispin. Are you also on the way to the funeral right now?"

Hort stands and looks about for where their gear might have gone.
He lets out a very bovine *hort* reminding him of his heritage
Matti glances around, anger growing on her face, still struggling with the dream she has woken from. They just left? And took all her stuff?
"Aaagh!" She lets out a roar of frustration. Seeing Hort and Kalindi remain she shouts "What happened?! Where is everyone?! They took everything!"
