"Ah, yes he really likes to clean you see, why on earth would my brother cause your boss to cry? He's a gentle soul, only wanting to make every room he enters sparkle by the time he leaves." Falkas leaves a worried look on his face, glancing back and forth between the guards. "Maybe we can help your boss out?"

Chrys thanks the guard, and flits up into the air to get a better look around for Twelve and the deep gnome. She will also look down at the players. Is she able to see anything of the dice they are holding back? (i.e. if this were poker, could she see their cards, same sort of concept?)
You would need to move closer, which would require a stealth check. These are professional players and are on the lookout for people checking out their cards, they may not be happy if they spot you.
You all approach the manager's office where you can hear sobbing. The shorter guard knocks on the door and Well’ard answers “Err not now guys, he is having one of his episodes.” the shorter guard asks “Caused by a drow with a Mop?” and Well’ard answers “Yeah, how did you guess”. The shorter guard responds “Don’t worry, we can handle it”.
(OCC: is the door open? Or are the guards talking through the door?)

Falkas leaves a worried look on his face, glancing back and forth between the guards. "Maybe we can help your boss out?"
Elovar looks excited and happy. (Honestly, he's thrilled that they seem close to finding Sinak.) He steps forward and pats Falkas on the back reassuringly. "See? I told you that we'd find your brother!", he says, pointing to the door.
Then he steps forward to shake the hand of the shorter guard who brought them to the office, "Good job! Thank you so much! I don't know what we would have done if you hadn't been here to assist us! You're a life saver, honestly! What's your name? I'd like to commend you to your superior for the top notch customer service! You and your two comrades here." As he talks and shakes the guard's hand, he tries to maneuver himself so that he's between the guard and the door, leaving Falkas an unobstructed path to get to / through the door.
Chrys thanks the guard, and flits up into the air to get a better look around for Twelve and the deep gnome.
(OOC: since a lot has been going on in a couple of different threads, you may have missed that we didn't expect to see 12 or the deep gnome in the tournament room. Since Elovar and Chrys just came from there and hadn't seen them, Elovar assumed that they never made it that far and stopped at the gaming tables, bar, or lounge in the south half of the casino closer to where the party arrived by boat.
> Chrys, maybe you could find 12 and the svirfneblin to make sure that they're OK, and then go back to the tournament hall to see how Sorith is doing.
Sinak takes in the conversation, looks around the desk, at the crystal ball, taking all in, eyes wide. In his mind he’s taking in information for his Queen, and looking for a way to save his own hide and the operation.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Sinak looks up and says “Yeah, the Beshaba people seem nuts alright. I’m a new hire, just learning the ropes and on their sign out front of the place, it says “Don’t cheat. Cheaters never prosper.” Hah! Then ole Quentin Togglepocket got all soft on me and started sobbing when I pointed out the TR issue, I’m just there on my first day! Anyway, you’ve gotta teach ‘em a lesson. I just wanted to raise a little hell there, swipe or bribe someone for a keycard, you know, like reasonable people would do. Send me back there and let me set ‘em straight. Or rather, set ‘em crooked, if you know what I mean.” *wink* Sinak grips his raven totem in his pocket tightly with his right hand, calling on Her help in his mind. He eyes the Apocalypse drawer in the filing cabinet, curiosity is eating at him terribly, but he bides his time and awaits the response..

The devil nods and says "Well that all sounds highly appropriate. Go on and get to it. You can let the local management know that you have TR approval and we will be looking for some improvement at our next audit, if it happens. Also I think we need to bring forward the next session of mandatory training for this Togglepocket, send him back through the portal. Sobbing indeed." The devil goes back to its paper work and a new portal appears in the room.

Whatever works, I’ll tell him to come on through, but it would help if it had your seal of approval….” Sinak looks on the table for paper, or a seal, a pen, etc. While he’s doing so, he gives a wry grin, purposefully thinking “This will do, a little corruption is what the Afterlife Casino needs, now we are talkin!”

Sinak takes the letter, smiling back at the devil, saying “I had to try.” He looks at the seal, and stands up. He walks over to the portal and pauses, his right hand squeezing the carving in his pocket for confidence. He’s about to walk through, but he says to the devil, “Okay, I just have to know. That cabinet over there, marked “Apocalypse”. How does it happen? Does some orange tinted man set the countries to fighting amongst each other, talking about “witch hunts” or something? Or some strong man start a great world war in a land grab? Explosions throughout the world? How does it happen, the Apocalypse? It would seem that you know….”

Athanasios looks up with a smile and says "Wow those are great ideas. You know I have a workshop on this later, I will throw these in the mix. We try to keep things agile these days you know. Fail fast and iterate is the motto. Can't just have some hero come in at the last moment and upset your plans without a hot backup in place. Anyway bucket boy, unless you want to join in the next round of training off you go"
Sinak nods and walks through the portal, musing over the devil’s words as he walks through. He gives a little chuckle to himself and a sigh of relief as he is being transported, all the while saying a prayer to the Raven Queen, reporting what he saw and heard…..
After he comes through, Sinak looks around at who is in the room, searching for Quentin Togglepocket. If he is still there, Sinak says “Well, TR issue resolved. I have TR approval, all has been settled. I need an employee access card and I need to find my mop, here’s my trusty bucket, so the cleaning can begin. And I’ll need of course anything else that is proper to get started. Mr. Togglepocket, I have a letter here from Athanasios to that effect. By the way, he wants to see you, told me to have you go right through that portal that I came through. He said that you are wanted for the next segment of mandatory training. He also hoped that you would improve by the next audit. I wouldn’t keep him waiting.” Sinak quickly looks Togglepocket over, saying “Anything that you have that needs to be here at the casino in the meantime for it to function, you should leave here on your desk. That’s a good chap. Now on you go! Right orderly operation they had there, had to say….” He looks at Quentin and holds the letter out for him to see, for verification.
