AFAICT, Falkas was trying to walk from the door to room A16 back to the tournament hall (A9), presumably going back the way we came and passing the offices (A14 and A15) on the way to the door between areas A4 and A5.  I think that Snievan was waiting for you to say whether that door lets Falkas out of the staff-only area without a staff badge.  That is, are the employee-only doors locked from the "outside" only?  Or is a staff badge needed to go through that door in both directions?)

Sinak nods to Elovar and says “Wait here, just a quick look, then I’ll come get you and we’ll head back out.  Wait in the hall, I’ll only be a few moments, then we need to regather outside.”  Sinak uses the access card and walks into A16, talking to himself mid sentence.  “Gotta find the dirtiest places and start first, bunch of muck and dust and filth, hasn’t had a proper cleaning in a ten day I bet!  Oh, hello!  My name’s Sinak, a new member of the team, Well’ard is in charge now.  Got it all cleared from TR.  Don’t bother me, just looking around, seeing which rooms are the worst and need to be mopped the soonest.  Another point that you’ll be seeing on the bulletin board in the bathroom is about prevention of burnout, Well’ard has indicated that your break time will be increasing, another directive from TR.  So feel free to take a walk from time to time, increase break time by 50%, that’s the long and short of it.  Longevity gentlemen, that’s what we are looking for.”  Sinak, walks around, looking at any monitors, notes, wiping the desk with his finger for dust, and looking in corners for muck and filth.  After he’s taken everything in, he heads out, back to Elovar.

Elovar is standing in the hall alone, just outside the door to the monitoring room. 

Elovar looks a little surprised: "Oh?  Good to know."

"Sinak went in to 'clean' the monitoring room," he says, gesturing to the door.  "Unless he ends up back in the Resounding Thunder, he should be right back to escort us through the doors back to the casino."

In A16 Sinak sees five desks facing the west wall, which is covered with mirrors. Each mirror on the wall corresponds to a security mirror elsewhere in the casino, and whatever is happening within line of sight of the mirrors is displayed here. Three tiefling security guards monitor the mirrors. A ring of eight keys dangles from a hook next to the south door.

Sinak roll a persuasion check.

The guards all nod at Sinak's words. One says "Well'ard knows how to look after his own. In fact I may take that break now."  The guard walks to tthe employee lounge. There are now two guards monitoring the mirrors, they are now more stretched.

Elovar (and Falkas?) are in the hall near those doors.  As the guard comes out of A16, Elovar looks past him into the room.  Then, he looks at the guard and says, "Excuse me, we were just here to see his brother.  The cleaner?  He was walking us back to the casino, but he's been cleaning as he goes. He has a true passion for cleaning, bless his heart!  Did it seem like he was going to be long?  We don't want to interrupt your break, but perhaps we could just pop in and get him?"

Persuasion 9

"Sure." The guard walks back in and says "New guy you cannot just let people wander alone out here, who knows what they will get up to. Go on take them back to the floor."

“Right you are, no more lollygagging around Elovar, let’s get out to the floor and I’ll need to go get my mop and start to it.  Shoo!  I’ll be out there shortly and later during my break we can talk.  Go on, will you!  And take Falkas to the floor as well.”  Sinak mock shoos Elovar out of the room, then pauses by the door, saying out loud “Need to start cleaning all of these rooms, which would you boys say is the worst?”  As he says this, Sinak picks up the keychain saying, “Which doors do these open?  Which ones do I need to begin mopping?  These rooms back here are filthy!”  

Guard responds "Oh they are the keys to the cells. Hay Marki, new guy is going to clean the cells" Marki responds "Well great job new guy, they really need cleaning. Lots of drunks end up in the cells." Marki gives you a thumbs up. 

[Cells are A17 on Map. Note that there isn't anything nice in the cells, but they could do with a good clean. Give a standard Dex check if you want to clean them.]

Falkas grips his own mop tightly as the guard walks by. What I'd give to wallop him and the others right now. He breathes in deeply through his nose, "So, how long is this tournament you guys are hosting going to last? I don't want to leave my brother alone, but if it'll be over soon I'd like to get back to it."

"Yes, we're going," Elovar responds, tapping Sinak on the shoulder, "but we need you or one of the guards to take us through the secure doors and back to the floor." 

In response to Finley the guard says "Well we have been keeping an eye on it. Hard to say, really as it depends on when they all go bust. However there is a lot of money on the table now. So it might be going quicker than expected"

Back at the card game. The rounds continue, the bet is raised by another 50gp. This time two players drop out
