Corlith watches as his companions go to work taking down their two foes, and spots the bucket helmeted one drop to the floor, seemingly the more injured of the two. Not having a clear line of sight to them now, he once again sweeps his hand up pointing to the one with bucket helmet, and a radiant flame drops from no-where towards it. His hope is to eliminate it from the fight as quickly as possible.
"Stay down, permanently!", he calls to it.
Special: Concentration Bless - Round 2 /10 Action: Cast Sacred Flame on bucket helm. DC15 Dex save or take 6 radiant damage
After getting shoved and hit several times, the iron-helmed man stands back up on the stairs, a bit more slowly than he'd like and almost falls again, and uses his spear to attack Roo'Stor again. Flustered from being knocked down by a chicken, he misses Roo.
"Get the bird!" he shouts at the woman and she obediently uses her mace to attack. Corlith immediately distracts her and she hits the rooster, but more of a glancing blow then head on. (4 dam)
Seeing the vicious arc of the female foe's mace, Corlith reaches out with his magic to distract her. "There's your opening Roo, take it, strike her down!", he shouts at Roo, empowering him not just with fortune but with the urgency to strike immediately.
Reaction: Silvery Barbs - grant Roo advantage, Voice of Authority - Roo gets immediate reaction attack against the woman if he wants. Special: Concentration Bless - Round 2 /10 - Reed, Roo and Wilfred
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Roo' is distracted for a moment from his laser like focus on destroying bucket head as Corlith calls out to him. He pivots on his feet as he's slashed with the spear, and then he's up and off the floor, swinging his sword at the woman.
"Keep your pathetic thrusting to yourself!" He says, even as he's swiped with the spear. "I'll come back to strut on your corpse in a moment! BAGOP!"
And then he's on the woman, trying to murder her with his shortsword...
The last arrow does it and buckethead falls back on the stairs and his body rolls into the sewer water most of you are trudging in. Roo's reaction, gifted by Corlith, stabs the woman through and she crumples on the spot.
Hearing combat die down, the man in shackles with the sack over his head timidly calls out, his voice a bit shaky.."Pplease.. don't kkill me."
"dibs on the spear!" Ironmaiden calls out the split second that bucket head hits the floor. She claims her one trophy and walks over to the guy on the table. Putting on her most imposing voice she speaks, "fear not citizen, you have been saved!"
Roo ignores the fellow chained up in the back room and begins to strut, ruffling his blood soaked feathers. He definitely looks terrible as he ignores his flesh wounds and begins making good on his threats. Standing on the woman's back, he arches his neck and lets out a long, loud, proud crow before reaching down and grabbing a beak-full of hair, which he promptly begins to pull.
There are moments in life where those blessed with the gift of hearing will remember the day they didn't hear what was being said. This was one of those moments. Roo curses and swears and says all manner of foul, unholy, terrible things around the hair in his mouth, even as he pulls and shakes at it, like a dog worrying a rope. He pulls with all his might, pulls like he plans to rip the woman's scalp free...and then releases it.
"You'll do well to remember this day damn you!" He says. He turns sideways, side eyeing the corpse floating in the water. There's a moment, almost imperceptible, where he hesitates...then he jumps down the stairs and lands on helmethead with a splash of sewer water. He struts back and forth, clucking and cooing and making all sorts of avian noises before stopping to kick his feet backwards, throwing sewer water everywhere as he scratches.
"GeTtHeB1rb!" He mocks over and over, making fun of the deadman. "How about you get the bird you clucking piece of motherclucking trash!"
He slowly begins to drop his bottom up and down on the corpse...
Corlith relaxes as their two foes are vanquished, and watches for a moment the scene unfolding before him, with Roo lauding it over the corpses of the fallen. Finding it wholly uncomfortable, he turns his back to it and wanders across to the shackled individual, happily stepping out of the filthy sewer water and trying to avoid the spray Roo generates.
"Stay still, remain calm, and we'll see about these shackles", he says to the person, removing the sack from their head. "Tell me, how did you come to be here like this?", he asks as he motions for one of the others to check the shackles.
Reed sticks his head back out from behind the pillar when he hears Roo' go off. He smiles and nods and trudges forward through the sewer water. He plucks the three arrows out of bucket head and salvages what he can from them.
Then while Corlith calms the prisoner and Roo' teaches the dead a lesson, Reed methodically goes through any pockets, pouches, nooks, and crannies that might hide anything of value on the two corpses.
After he's done searching the bodies, he looks down the stairs to the south to make sure no one else is waiting to ambush them.
Wilfred chuckles at Roo's display. He looks curiously at the man shackled to the wall. He moves to look at the armor as Corlith questions the prisoner, then adds "What's you're name, buddy?" As he asks the question, he will see if the armor is better than what he's currently wearing. Investigation12
The man stiffens as he hears Archie tell him he has been saved, "I have?" you can hear the skepticism in his voice.
The dead remain dead as Roo plays with them.
As Corlith starts talking the man moves his head towards his voice and once the sack is removed he blinks a couple times and takes in the scene before him, "I.. I was captured after my bodyguard was slain. Oh.. oh Nathan! He was so good to me, he didn't deserve to die." he hangs his head at this, "It's been a couple of days I think?"
He then hears another question and looks up towards Wilfred, "It's Klim, Klim Jhasso."
Reed holds up a ring of keys he found on the buckethead's dead body and jingles them. Then after taking a quick look down the stairs to the south he comes back to the group, catching the exchange with the prisoner.
"Stairs down into the water but then more stairs back out of it if we go that way," Reed says.
He then looks more closely at the prisoner.
"So you had a bodyguard?" Reed says, nodding with a smile. "They're not cheap are they?"
Reed jingles the ring of keys again.
"But none of the best things are, are they?" Reed asks Klim. "What do you say, Klim? What kind of donation can you make to our cause in exchange for a little help getting out of those chains?"
Virro relaxes his arm, letting it fall to his side, then he walks forward, toward the man in shackles. Then he observe’s Roo’s “victory” dance on the corpse now floating in the water, an odd smile comes to his face. He chuckles for a moment, seeing the display. He pulls out his rapier, inserting it into the groin of both assailants. “This is another good spot, Reed. The femoral artery is here. If you cut that, they are in a world of hurt.” He inserts his rapier and watches as the murky water gets bloodier. Then he continues on.
He continues until he’s standing in front of the man, beside Reed. “Klim Jhasso. You were captured, you say? Where were you? What was the last thing that you remember? Do you know why they targeted you? Is it, for your money?” Deadpan face, no smile. “What were they asking you? If it was a couple of days you were down here, you must have overheard.. something. Tell me about those two, that were working you over?” He points his rapier at the Dom and the helmet head now floating in the water. “Please, we wish to know more.” An inappropriate smile for the situation comes over Virro’s mouth. Then he remembers. “Oh yes. We are with the Flaming Fists. We have a right to know…” he fumbles with his badge on his cloak, pulling it forward so that it shows.

"Donation? Yes, yes! Whatever you need, please, just get me down from here."
As Virro comes up, the man looks at him sideways, a bit uncomfortable after watching him bleed the bodies on his way up to the makeshift alter.
"Where'd they capture me? Why we were in the Lower City, having a little fun. I'm sure you know all the good gambling areas are in the Lower City, no fun to be had where I live. And we were jumped out of nowhere! I'm sure they targeted me because of who I am, why wouldn't they? I had heard that the Dead Three were rising up since the Fists were faltering but I.."
His eyes light up when he sees your badge, "Yes! Just what we need, more of the Flaming Fists to show these guys they can't win."
He looks down at the bodies again when Virro asks about them, "Those two? I've never seen them before, I've had that sack over my head the entire time."
Virro says “But what did they ask you? Or didn’t they ask you anything, did they just sit there and hit you for the fun of it?” He cocks his head to the side at an angle, awaiting his reply.

Wilfred quickly loses interest in the prisoner. He mumbles to himself "Another noble looking to the working man to take care of their problems for them."
Wilfred watches Virro as he demonstrates the cuts to Reed. That could be useful. Then he continues to stare at the statue, sizing up the plate to see if it would fit him. Then he noticed something. "Now, why they hell would the weld a perfectly good suit of armor together? Seems a waste. Hmm, the gauntlets aren't welded to the rest. That is weird. " Wilfred will take on of the gauntlets off to have a better look at it.
Ironmaiden is itching to free the man, she hovers over Reed as he asks his questions and jingles the keys around on his fingers. Ironmaiden tries to get the keys from an oblivious Reed as they swing, but has no success just yet, the massive size difference between the two make for a somewhat comical display.
"It appears you got yourself into quite the situation, Klim Jhasso", Corlith says shaking his head. "And although it is true, you have been saved from those two", he adds pointing down at the two corpses, "Our purpose here is not to ensure your safe return home. Quite the contrary, we shall be moving further into the labyrinth".
He makes a show of looking him up and down. "Now it may be true that out there", he says pointing vaguely up, "Your name is worth something. Enough to hire a bodyguard and flaunt your money in the Lower City catching the attention of such as these. But down here you are merely a man shackled to a wall wearing nought but a loincloth".
He looks to Reed and shakes his head ever so slightly, "Whatever donation you are after, I think you will be disappointed, and I definitely think the loincloth should stay where it is".
"Unless you have something more to offer, something tangible, we will let you continue on your way. We have a job to do", he adds, focussing back on Klim now.

Reed dips his head back out from around the pillar. He's about to shift his aim to the mace wielding whack-job when bucket head stands back up.
"Thank you very much. I don't mind if I do," Reed says to himself.
He lets the arrow go, and dips back behind the pillar once more.
