Archie screams out in pain at the slash from the sword, her attention on Reya and making sure she made it to safety.
Blood spills across the floor from the wound as Archie turns to the devil, not looking at the peak of health herself, she knows she needs to shut this down quickly. The gauntlets click and whirr, something within them gaining momentum and arche throws a punch, (23 to hit, 7 thunder damage) with a boom her fist connects with a crackle of lightning and she rolls her shoulder, orange flame overtaking it and staunching the wound. (Bonus action second wind +12 hp) Feeling a lot better and with the lightning already crackling her movements speed up, and she strikes out once more, (action surge 19 to hit, 13 thunder damage)
She barks out a curse filled warning at the devil, in a language most likely don't understand. (Primordial)
After the barrage from Archie, the devil is finally looking like he is struggling (bloodied).
Roo gets hit hard and isn't looking good at all, but the fierce little fighter doesn't let that get in his way as he reaches out with his mace swinging, booming thunder energy surrounding it. Unfortunately, it goes wide (nat 1! Sorry, I shouldn't roll for you!)
He then disengages and gives himself some room to get a breath as the fights are really adding up.
Lulu is happy to see that the rooster is getting away from the devil, and with a renewed sense of vengeance, she jams her magical tusks right in his face, delivering 6 magical piercing damage.
Seeing his companions bleeding and battered and some in retreat, Corlith grips his shield a little tighter and strides towards the fiend.
"Your time here is done, but a little lesson. On the surface lightning only precedes the thunder", he says as he reaches out to the fiend with a hand consumed by lightning. He then attempts to touch it again, this time his hand booming with thunderous energy.
Movement: 25ft to be directly south of the fiend Action: Shocking Grasp against fiend, To Hit: 16+9=25, Damage 7+5=12 [lightning] Bonus Action: Shocking Grasp transmuted to thunder against fiend, To Hit: 13+9=22, Damage 3+3=6 [thunder]
As the grasps hit the white abashi one after another, he stands there a bit stunned, but then crumples to the floor, ichor pooling all around him as he dies.
Archie wastes no time scrambling away from the devil and rushing over to Reya, sweeping the young woman up in a hug, the flames radiate from the back of Archie and warm through Reya's wounds as they embrace, (7hp from a cure wounds) "are you ok? I swear I saw you fall there, if it hadn't been for Virro... oh you have to take care of yourself!" A mix of relief and concern weaves through Archie's tight vocal chords, still caught up by the adrenaline and upset of watching Reya nearly brought down.
Reed comes across the room and retrieves the one arrow that didn't break during the fight, then he looks around the room and decides to check the scorched bodies for anything of interest.
"No, you can keep moving. I don't need more of you tagging along," Reed says to the air, then adds "You're not going to be needing anything I find in your pockets so please stop complaining."
Reya squeaks as Archie squeezes all the air from her even though she was healing her at the same time. The affect made her dizzy. "Th..thank you, Archie. And you too Virro. I'll... I'll be ok." She sits down for a moment, taking in the sight of the temple, with the sarcophagus's surrounding the area.
Seeing everyone alive, Corlith relaxes a little bit.
"Are you all ready to move on, or do any of you need a rest?", he asks as he too surveys the room with all the sarcophagi. "Perhaps we should search this place? Maybe whoever left the last stash left something useful here too?". he adds, hoping he doesn't offend Reya.
Archie looks reya up and down, in disbelief that she would want to continue moving in her state. As corlith raises the question if rest, Archie spins on her heels, "I need it!, I need a quick stop just to catch my breath. Please and thank you." Turning to Reya again she mutters "you too, no arguments, you're still bleeding."
Virro smiles at Reed, saying “Ask them if they saw a bright light before they left this place…”. He walks over to Reya, saying while subconsciously gripping his amulet, “I thought we nearly lost you, for a moment. We need to rest and recover. I have some healing if needed. We shouldn’t head forward until you are ready..”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Corlith smiles at Archie, even though her response was a little sharp. In truth, he had been questioning whether Reya was really ready to move on, after she seemed to suggest doing so.
"Of course, Archie. That was why I asked", he replies simply.
Whilst he waits, he goes and inspects one of the sarcophagi, seeing if there are any inscriptions or such like.
Reed starts leading the group on, finding more vaults and recessed mausoleums as they go. There are a few bodies, but they seem to have died when the city fell. You eventually find yourselves back in the main crypt with the survivors.
(The survivors you have picked up on your way, they are still out in the courtyard, yes? And with the short rest... they have been out there for quite some time.)
Reed looks at the survivors with a little surprise.
"Forgot about them," he says quietly.
Then he looks over at the others.
"There were some stairs heading to an upper floor," Reed says. "We should check that out and then get the outside group in here too."
Regardless of how the group answers, Reed slips up the stairs as quietly as he can and then up the other stairs (north side?) to the upper floor to see what's up there.
"I think we should check on those outside before we go upstairs", Corlith starts to say, but Reed didn't wait before disappearing. He therefore turns to the rest of the group.
"We know this level is clear. We should bring the survivors from the city down here before we all move on to the upper floor. They have already waited a long time, possibly too long. They might have given up hope of our return by now", he suggests.
As the halfling charges up the Northern most spiral stairs to the choir balcony level, Corlith heads to the entrance of the High Hall and opens the large doors.
What he sees is not what he was hoping for. The survivors have dwindled and they are in a fight for their lives. Kids are hiding amongst the rubble as the adults are fighting off a pair of zombies. As he looks, there are several dead survivors and it looks like they were able to overcome one of the zombies that lay amongst them.
As he stands there taking in the scene, the survivors notice and start disengaging from their foe and running into the High Hall, charging past Corlith and whoever else stands with him, Reya and Virro and the others. The zombies follow...
At the same time, you hear a bunch of what you can only describe as skittering above you... much more noise than Reed could manage on his own even if he tried...
Corlith curses under his, and wastes no time bringing radiant flames down upon both the zombies. He then steps forward hoping to distract them so the remaining survivors can flee unmolested.
"Slow and steady will get you all to safety. Get behind us and try not to panic", he says, holding his shield tightly in front of him.
Action: Sacred Flame against zombie 1, DC16 Dex Save or take 8+7=15 [radiant] damage Bonus Action:Sacred Flame against zombie 2 using bracers, DC16 Dex Save or take 7+5=12 [radiant] damage Movement: 10ft east
The radiant damage from Corlith cooks both zombies as they meander forward, unable to get away from the light.
Reya is shocked at the sight she sees beyond her tiefling friend. She also curses under her breath, they should have known better than to leave these people outside, how many were dead? 9, 10? She'd never forgive herself.
Seeing Corlith sidle right up to the enemy to prevent them from hurting the survivors more... she's impressed. She follows up behind him and takes a couple swings at zombie B.
Attack: 15, Damage: 7
Attack: 13, Damage: 8
Both her sword attacks slice through the undead flesh as the zombie moans. Her second attack falls the creature. But just as she is happy with her victory... the creature scrambles back to his feet...

"Everyone breathing?".

"No," Reed says to Virro. "But they did see a big ball of fire."
The halfling starts laughing after that.
Once the group has rested, he moves down and takes a look in the passage to the south.
Reed starts leading the group on, finding more vaults and recessed mausoleums as they go. There are a few bodies, but they seem to have died when the city fell. You eventually find yourselves back in the main crypt with the survivors.
