"blue, no my flames have always been red, always... What do you mean 'sounded different' I blacked out for a moment there" she clutches her head still as she gets her breath back properly, leaning against the wall for support.
Reed stops sniffing the air and turns his focus to the IronMaiden and Corlith.
"Just work on the timing. That was bang on the right message," Reed says with a smile. "Just a touch too late."
He keeps one eye on the ceiling and heads down the stairs.
"I don't smell the gas anymore, and unless those two stumble into a trap, I say we keep going," Reed says, nodding at the two smoking skeletons making their way across the chamber.
Reed makes his way through the water, taking a look through the passage to the east to see if there's anything that way of concern (sticking his head around the corner to see if there's an exit that way).
Roo almost attacks the skeletons. Almost. Then they're skipping and frolicking as best as they can away, and he follows the rest of the party with an accepting shrug.
"For the record,"He says to Ironmaiden as she makes her way off toward the smell of the gas, "earlier I was offering you a compliment for being a higher being than a human. Clearly, that compliment was wastedOHBYGALLUS'SSCALEDLEGS!"
The rooster full blown panics as Ironmaiden sets off an explosion below. Terrified, he runs up and down the steps, unable to make his mind up in his attempt to escape, and screams bloody-murder at the sight of the flames, temporary as they were...
The two skeletons amble their way over to the North area until they hit the wall. Then they turn and look at Reed waiting for his next command.
Peering around the East corner, Reed lifts his hooded lantern and notices a path in the SE corner. Happily taking note that it includes stairs leading out of the water.
Virro steps forward to the front of the group toward Reed. “Let me try, let me try.” He seems much too excited about the skeletons, forgetting their purpose for a moment, the badge, the Flaming Fists, everything. “Will they do what I say? How did you do it, Reed?” He screws up his face in concentration and looks at the skeletons, holding his arms up, “And, dance again!” Virro says, hoping to see them repeat their skeletal two step.

Archie shakes off the nonsense Corlith is spouting and attempts to refocus her efforts on what she can see, and can remember. She follows Reed eastward, this time without producing any flames.

Three necromites of Myrkul, having heard the blast from the gas explosion, attempt to sneak their way up to the party that is sloshing their way through the dark water. One is able to sneak past your passive perception, but the second one is noticed by Corlith, Reed and Virro, and the third trips on his way down the stairs and makes enough noise for everyone to notice.
When the first one sees the group, he takes advantage of his surprise and attacks Roo'Stor in his state of confusion. But in his glee of getting the jump on the party, he over shoots and his ghostly hand drifts past Roo and dissipates.
Reed's arrow sinks into A's shoulder and he cries out in pain. He looks around for the one that shot the arrow and is confused not seeing any of the ones in front of him holding a bow.
After missing the rooster the first time, he figures it might be too difficult a target to hit and focuses on the suit of armor behind Roo. His spectral hand goes wide again and he stomps a foot in frustration. Then heads down the stairs towards Roo.
Wilfred is about to say something as the blast goes off. His ears start ringing from the blast. "DAMN TINNITUS. WHAT HAPPENED? IS EVERYONE OKAY?" He says, too loudly. He looks around, then back to Roo'. "HEY ROO! CALM DOWN! EVERYTHing... oh, was I yelling. Okay, that's better. Roo! Calm down. There's nothing wrong, we're all ..." It's at this point that the thing jumps towards Roo' and Reeds arrow goes by. Wilfred instinctively spins his glaive and attacks the one that just attempted to swip at Roo' "I'm speaking! Please don't interrupt!" There is a splash of crimson on the wall next to the Necromite, as half of his skull goes flying back up the stairs.

Roo stops as the arrow arches over him and then Wilfred attacks. He squawks, thinking for a moment that the untrustworthy featherless have lost their minds and plan to roast him on the fire, when the thing behind him drops. By the time Roo realizes there is a fight, focus has been shifted from him to Ironmaiden.
"BAWK!" Roo says, startled by what has happened. "Ironmaiden, look out! Ooh, Wilfred! Good work!"
Finding himself between the imposing forces and his friends, he goes on the attack.
"I'll keep them here!" He shouts as he attacks the next closest one with his sword. "I shall separate you from the light of Gallus forever!"
Virro moves to the south 10 feet, perhaps 5 feet over to the west in order to get a clear image of the incoming cultists on the stairs. “More imbeciles? Feel my wrath!” He points his right hand at them and two skeletal hands float toward the cultists on the stairs.

Taken aback by the talking chicken, the necromite can't dodge the sword and takes it in the thigh. Virro's skeletal hand takes hold of him as well, making him visibly bloodied. Virro's second hand floats back and misses the one behind who is still on his knees.
Wilfred moves behind Roo. He takes a swing with his glaive as he says "Roo', Buddy. Stop being greedy. Share some of the fighting with the rest of us, ehh." To busy talking, Wilfred's swing is very sloppy. The necromite easily dodges out of the way. "See, I can't even get a good swing in."
Necromite B is about to attack the rooster that hit him, but when the man that cut apart his brothers skull comes into view, he smiles with bloodied teeth.
He reaches out his hand and the ghostly hand floats from his hand to Wilfred's neck and boils appear upon his skin as he receives 11 necrotic damage.
Whirling about on her heel Archie sees one of the necromite get cut down, "what the shit are those things?" now that the gas in the chamber has combusted she decides it should be safe enough to use fire to attack.
She claps her hands together sending sparks flying and opens them once more producing a globule of flaming energy, tossing it over roos head she aims for necromite c, furthest back. (24 to hit, 4 fire damage) she pumps her fist a little in celebration as she hits the thing square on.

"Well blue you were, and made a sound like this", Corlith says, causing an effect similar to Archie saying "DANGER!, DANGER!".
