Roo's feathers bristle as Archie refers to Fog' Horn Cloudkiller as a chicken not once but twice. His face, while not exactly built for expression like those of his more simian compatriots, still displays a look of rage. He hears as the warning order comes that Virro is about to grab someone, and starts to say something to Archie, then hears the sounds of a fight as it breaks out in the corridor.
"I'll remember this." He says before dropping it. "Virro! I'm coming!"
He darts past Archie and moves down the hall to get behind Virro, but finding no good way to proceed into the fray.
"Back up! Back up! Back up, Virro! Put it in reverse Virro! Oh by Gallus!"
Hearing from Reed that there is an adversary around the corner, Corlith is ready to move and follow Roo as the Gallus charges forward. He skirts around Archie and looks around the corner.
Seeing the guard, he brings he hand up palm forwards and a bolt of freezing energy flies towards it.
Then seeing how bottlenecked it is, he moves back to free space for someone else.
"Bit crowded there, you should be fine with that long blade Wilfred".
Movement: 5ft North, 5ft North-East, 5ft North Action: Cast Ray of Frost at the guard. To Hit: 4+7=11 Movement: 5ft South, 5ft South-West
Wilfred moves around Corlith, saying "Hey buddy, that was a good attempt. You gotta just relax and work on your form a bit. Keep your eye on the target, don't close them when you throw the spell. Don't worry, you'll get there." He heads right behind Roo'. "You go low, I'll go high. Just like last time." Wilfred will swing his glaive over Roo' and at the guard below.
Just as the man avoids the grapple by Virro, he doesn't have time to recuperate from the surprise and is stabbed deep by Virro. The necrotic damage pulsing through him making him scream.
As Virro slips by, the rooster comes riding up to his face but doesn't attack... yet. And as he looks up, he has just enough wherewithal to see the cold ice coming towards him and he ducks.
Wiping the sweat off his brow, he doesn't see Wilfred coming down the stairs right after Roo and is slashed across the face with his glaive. He looks rough.
"you'll remember what? What did I do?" Archie calls after Roo as the newly armoured angry meal runs off.
Looking into the corridor and seeing Wilfred stopped just after the bend, Archie assumes that there's quite a pile up and decides against joining the fray, instead calling in for information from the doorway, "how many hostiles you got there? D'ya think you'll manage?"
Archie gives a shrug to whoever is still in the room with her and keeps an eye on the previous door that they came through, making sure the corridor fighters don't get flanked by more possible hostiles.
With the onslaught of attack to the Fist of Bane, the man yells at the top of his lungs with the last of his energy, "INTRUDERS!!!" and uses his action to dodge.
Virro spins around and sees up the stairs behind him a rickety door open and two more Fist of Bane come dashing into the cluster at the base of the western stairs. They surround him and look ready to bash some brains with their maces.
"This is going splendidly, isn't it?" Reed says to Archie.
He looks over at the two skeletons.
"You'll be no help down the stairs, but make sure no one comes through that doorway. Attack anyone who does." Reed says, telling the skeletons to help guard the western doorway.
Reed then moves down the hallway, looks around the corner and quickly nocks and arrow and lets it fly at the Fist of Bane sandwiched between Roo and Virro.
Bonus Action - Direct Skeletons
Action - Short Bow - (15+6) = 21 to hit; (4+4+2 sneak attack) = 10 damage
Virro feels the Fist behind him collapse to the floor, and he smiles. The sudden appearance of two more attempting to flank him makes Virro reevaluate his position. He holds his shield up and backs away, moving one square to the northwest then two squares west, behind Wilfred. “Get him, dad! Jab them like that other fellow!”
Wilfred nods to Virro as he moves past, then moves up to the corner to have some more room to work. "The key is the follow through." He swings the Glaive above Roo' and attacks Fist B, then continues the momentum to attack Fist C with the butt of his Glaive.
The Fist falls as soon as Reed's arrow touches him.
Roo 'Stor comes charging in, but his sword swipe meets nothing but air. Wilfred follows behind, slashes into the armor of B, but misses bludgeoning the other one.
You hear more pounding feet as additional Fists dashing to join the frey.
Archie sighs and heads in to the cramped corridor until she can't get in any further, calling to the front of the queue she yells, "guys push them! Give them a shove and push them back, we can make more room for more people here!", With no line of sight she merely readies her light hammer flaring up the handle to provide some light and activate the weapons returning property.
Fist B takes his mace and swings at Roo, but misses him by a mile.
Fist E, after Wilfred tried to hit him with the butt of his polearm and then seeing Wil attempt to hit his friend D, aims for the fighter and connects. (Dam 4)
Reed tries to look around everyone, and starts slipping past Virro and the IronMaiden but then quickly realizes he can't draw his bow in these cramped quarters with all these big people in the way.
"Hey, do you guys mind backing up please so we can all get down there to fight properly?" Reed calls down to the Fists.
He then worms his way back up into the empty room with the skeletons.
"You two, keep up the good work," he calls over to the skeletons.
Reed looks around the room, tapping his foot impatiently, waiting for the bottleneck in the stairwell to clear out.
Virro calls out, “Back up guys, I can’t see them!” He backs up 10 feet south into the square room and awaits his chance to see and attack the Fists of Bane.

"Oh by Gallus!" Roo shouts as the enemies swarm into the room. "Oh no, oh by Gallus! We're hurt! We're getting slaughtered! Everyone retreat! Back up, retreat!"
He looks over his shoulder at Wilfred, his look not one of panic but knowing. Begins backing toward Wilfred, trying to punctuate his point, while slashing at the wounded enemy with his sword but hitting nothing but air.
He then moves as far back as he can towards the previous room.
