Reed directs the skeletons back through the secret door and orders them to block anyone who's not one of the party from going up the stairs to the exit.
"Just answer them. It goes a lot easier," Reed says to Mortlock as the bulk of the party still work on getting some actual decent information from the big man.
Reed then follows the skeletons out and joins Corlith. He gestures at the bodies littering the stairwell.
"These idiots were all brawn and no brain," Reed says, thinking out loud. "What scares the likes of that?"
He thinks for a moment while he adjusts where the skeletons are positioned. "No don't guard each other. You look up, you look down. There like that."
Corlith shrugs to Reed, "It makes sense that they might be more afraid of magic. Which one was Bhaal again? Might give us a clue as to what to expect".
He turns to speak through the secret door, "Whenever you lot are ready, we have business to deal with".
With that he stands impatiently, listening for signs of anything coming from the direction they assume Nebra will come from.
Wilfred looks on and looks to Roo'. "Come now, Roo'. You can't kill everyone that says the word Chicken. He wasn't even talking about you, just what a chef cooks." He turns to look at Mortlock. "But, I mean, how do we know you aren't going to get a bunch of people to come kill us in here? I would prefer to have you stay with us until we are done here. For our safety and yours. I think Virro has it right, lets agree to a partnership for now, yea? Then we can let you go if you help us out."
Wilfred watches the others move back to the secret door, but will stay close to Mortlock, just incase he wants to get violent.
Mortlock has a far off look on his face as Virro continues to ask about the scars on this face, "I...I don't remember." He shakes his head a bit and drops his hand, "But yes, a truce." but he raises an eyebrow when Virro mentions tying him down and letting the ants eat him.
He eyes Roo 'Stor with concern, "Yes Nebra. Well, she's tricky and when she wants, she can make it so you can't see her. I don't know how she does it."
He pushes himself off of the wall and nods to Wilfred, "Yes, let's do that. Since your little one and the tiefling are already heading towards Nebra, lets go there first then I'll tell you what I know."
Mortlock joins the rest of you up to the skeletons and assuming Reed has the skeletons let him through he points to the door on the left, "That's where Nebra usually hides out. The other one is just full of skulls and bones, not sure what the followers of Myrkul are trying to do with them all."
(Reed was putting the skeletons on the staircase above the secret door).
Reed starts to slip towards the door Mortlock points out but stops and pause. "Does anyone have any ideas on how to mark someone who can turn invisible? Anyone have a net?"
He then goes to the door, quietly, to listen for any sounds of Nebra on the other side.
Archie goes quiet and has been for a while, after hearing that Nebra can turn invisible she begins doing the only thing she knows might work and starts ritual casting detect magic. Hoping that she'll have enough time to complete the artificer ritual before the others breach the door.
“No Reed, I don’t know how to do that… and I don’t have a net.” Virro sneaks along with Reed, preparing himself to sneak into the next area beside him. He listens for any movement or speech.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Corlith stays back behind Reed, Virro, Mortlock and skeletons as they all venture towards the door to the room Nebra is supposedly occupying.
"I have nothing to use against an invisible foe, but there is no-where for them to run. They will have to drop their spell at some point. Maybe Mortlock should draw her out? She knows you right, big fella?", he says, aiming his final questions at Mortlock.
Mortlock watches as several approach the door trying to listen to what's behind it, seemingly fine to wait and see what is going to happen between Nebra and the party. But when Corlith addresses him, he shrugs his shoulders and pushes his way to the door.
Knocking loudly, "Hey Nebra! Got some new recruits for Bhaal out here. How's about you come out and say hi?" He opens the door and steps through.
As the rest of you peer beyond Mortlock, you see four flickering torches in wall sconces light this partially collapsed crypt. An open sarcophagus in the middle of the area is filled to the rim with blood, with spillage streaking the sides of the sarcophagus and pooling around its base. The sarcophagus lid lies half buried under rubble behind it.
A frail looking woman steps out from behind the sarcophagus, covered from head to toe in blood. She looks like she is about to speak, but then looks at Mortlock and Virro and Reed behind him, considering.. her face scrunches up in anger and she points to the large man with a long bony finger and hisses, "Liarr..."and the frail looking woman disappears, a black hooded cloak hides the figure inside.
Corlith watches as Mortlock squeezes passed Virro and Reed, and then hears him push the door open and start to talk to Nebra. He hears the hissed reply and assumes that the ruse didn't go well.
Looking about, he realises that the party has not all gathered together yet. He points back towards the tunnel beyond the secret door, and whispers to Roo, "Time to move Roo, or this fight will be over before you three even get here".
With that said, he takes a step south to free up a path.
Virro peeks around the corner and sees the scary, hissing Reaper of Bhaal and he has second thoughts about rushing into the room. Instead, he stays where he is and takes a shot at the Reaper with his crossbow, aiming at her head. “Guys, need a little help up front. This could get ugly, this lady looks like a killer! She does have interesting fingers for the bag, though….” He pauses a second, saying “Get her, Mortlock! Otherwise she’ll kill whoever stands in her way!”
Light Crossbow : 19 to hit, 8 points of damage.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The bolt strikes true and you hear the reaper hiss again.
She regards Virro, but then looks to Mortlock and pauses. Reaching a hand out towards him she turns the palm facing upward and wiggles the tips of her fingers.
Mortlock stares at the woman, feeling something try to come over him, but he shakes it off and puts his greatclub into his hands, ready to fight.
"Yes Wilfred, I understand, but plenty of 'chefs' have cooked plenty of my people." Roo replies to his friend as Mortlock wanders off to go play with the others who begin to investigate the secret door. "I understand your pain, Wilfred, but imagine, for a moment, you found the remains of someone very, very important to you in this place. Buc-bock. And imagine that instead of getting some answers everyone you asks acts like they don't know and that your loved one doesn't matter because they were just a 'chicken'..."
Feathered fingers make air quotes again and again and again...
"Wilfred Cliffvine, on this day, I have made a friend in you like I've never had before. I respect you and find you to be capable and understanding of the Gallusian Condition. When this is behind us, I will follow you as far as it takes to make sure you have justice. But just because he didn't say 'Roo is a chicken' or 'Fog' Horn was a chicken' doesn't make it any less hurtful. Bawk. The scoundrels in this clucking hell hole already act like Fog' Horn didn't matter because he was 'just a chicken', and if you ask me, they're all down here for the same nefarious reason. None of them are good. None of them. Not a single one. I say we kill 'em all for the same reason you kill a whole nest of weasels;because if you don't, the survivors will come back sooner or later to hurt someone you love."
He sits there for a moment atop Glory of Morning, his head cocking back and forth as he looks from Wilfred, to Archie, and then back to Wilfred before he turns his attention to the backside of the room where Corlith, Virro, and Reed had gone and slowly saunters after Mortlock. Then, as if alerted to something, he flicks the reigns and spurs Glory of Morning after them.
"Corlith!" He shouts as he goes. "I'm coming! Bawk-bock-bagop!"
The Possum moves fast as Roo barges into the room ahead of the others, taking up a position directly diagonal to Mortlock. Seeing how things are going, he quickly draws a javelin and lets fly and watches as it bounces harmlessly off the block wall in the back of the room.
"Cluck you you ugly clucking clucker! I'll be kicking around in your guts in a moment!"
Archie finishes her ritual just as Roo shouts and runs out, she gives Wilf an odd look and a shrug, her eyes burning orbs in the recesses of her visor, and then unceremoniously walks off to join the others, observing the situation from the doorway with her magically amplified vision.
Wilfred ponders the words spoken by his new pe... his new friend. He never considered the plight of someone like Roo' before. As he thinks, he sees Roo rush forward. "Huh, what, fighting again already? Alright, I suppose."
Wilfred moves forward. "Excuse me, pardon me, coming through, on your left.. I mean right.And.... Wait, why is that full of blood? Crap, can't get closer. Well then, hup hup!" Wilfred will throw two hand axes at Nebra.

Reed instinctively reaches out to close the door and let Mortlock and Nebra iron out their differences on their own. But before he can, half the group charges past, shouting and cursing.
The halfling smiles as they do.
"I could really accomplish a lot with this group, mum," Reed says to himself. "They can't help but create chaos and distractions everywhere they go."
With plan A tanked before it began, Reed quickly slips an arrow out of the quiver and nocks into against his bow string. He takes a breath and lines up Nebra through all of the people in front of him. He's not happy with the shot as there's only a narrow window to make this work, and it would be better if Mortlock was a little closer to distract Nebra but this will have to do for now.
Once he lets the arrow fly, he ducks in behind Virro to hide.
Action: Shortbow - (8+6) = 14 to hit for (3+4) = 7 damage
As a javelin, two hammers and an arrow attempt to hit the hooded creature, she is able to dodge them all.
Mortlock stares at the woman and growls, "How dare you try and cast a spell on me! You cursed cultist!" He storms at her, swinging his greatclub, but in his haste and her apparent uncanny ability to dodge, he misses both strikes. He moves around to the side of her, "Come on in, the blood is... well everywhere." he shouts back to the rest.
Not needing to be asked twice, Archie dashes, rushing past as many of her accomplices as possible before placing herself against the western wall of the chamber, her eyes still burning with magically enhanced vision.
"In case it's not clear Nebra, we are here to put down the followers of the Dead Three. Your allies are dead, and you are soon to follow. Your reign of terror ends now, as you join the god you worship", Corlith shouts around the corner. There is not much else he can do with all the bodies in the way.
