When Reya finishes the two fiends, Roo takes his moment to pull the fork free of his upper chest and utters a sort of high squawk. A little golden light flares in his hands as he does a little to mend the wound. His weapon never leaves his dominant hand. It's shadowy form remains there, his feathered fingers flexed tight around it.
"Alright then, buck. Guess that's how it's going to be." He says calmly.
Archie walks on over to the spined corpses and begins lightly parting on on its head, she looks over its body, long arms, reddish pink wings, she gives one a scritch under the chin but the corpse doesn't react. "Pointy puppy... next time we should try to make one obedient, Amrik's slimy ass self was working with one, so I'm sure they're not too difficult to persuade" there is a grinning amusement in her voice that obviously doesn't express itself well over her blank emotionless visor, but she seems content all the same. "Hey someone should check those barrels!" She adds, taking an empty liquor bottle and cork from her pack and shaking it greedily in the air.
Virro starts rummaging through the boxes that were stored here, eventually making his way to the barrels, trying to get a sense of what was being stored here. “Is it more routine goods, food or more of their worthless demon worshipping materials, who knows.” He says as he’s opening things up and looking.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Corlith relaxes as the devils are taken care of, and looks across to Wilfred and then Archie. He discreetly points to Wilfred and whispers so only he can hear, "I think it best Archie focusses on the task at hand, we can discuss her situation once we are done here".
He then moves over to the door just north-east of his position, and listens for any sounds beyond it, making certain to focus.
Reed, feeling a bit better after doing the red potion, smiles and leans his head against the door he finds himself standing beside (on the western wall) and listens carefully.

While he listens he waves in a dismissive manner at something in the air near his head.
Slobberchops lazily looks up at Reed as he is mentioned and Reed swears he can see the winged cat shrug. He then goes over to the wooden crates that Archie knocked over with her jumping. Sniffing around he sees that it is just candles, oil flasks, incense, and rat traps. Nose in the air, he turns tail to that pile and heads over to the other stack of crates that Virro is checking out. His tail starts swishing back and forth as the smells coming from here are much more to his liking.
Virro opens these crates and finds dried meat, loaves of bread, wheels of cheese, and other assorted foodstuffs — enough to sustain the Vanthampurs and more for at least a month. Slobberchops helps himself to a wheel of cheese, looking at Virro as if daring him to pry it out of his teeth.
Heading over to the barrels, they find six of the barrels contain drinking water, and six contain ale. "Well, it isn't wine, but ale is always a good substitute." Reya remarks as she smiles at Archie's exuberance to fill her bottle. "Come here, I'll help you fill that."
Reed peeks into the west room and finds another room, about 15' x 15' that has no other exit. More than two hundred corked bottles of wine are displayed in seven-foot-tall wooden racks that span the west and south walls. Empty wooden crates are stacked in the middle of the room.
Archie gets up from her puppy petting and accepts Reya's help with the bottle, she looks about the mess that she made and picks up two oil flasks and a candle adding them to her pack, "these'll come in handy, so which way we going?"
Seeing Reed has closed the door to the West, Corlith replies, "It seems like this is the way forward".
"Reed, are you ok to scout ahead, or are the voices distracting you?", he asks, wanting to double check the halfling is on his game, given that he is already injured.
He looks about at other options to lead, wondering when he looks to Roo what exactly is happening to the Gallus. Another question for when this is over.
Virro looks at Slobberchops and smiles, pleased to see the cat enjoying himself. He lays out a few more bits of cheese, hoping to get on the cat’s good side. “There you go, eat up, you deserve it! Good job on those imps!” Virro takes some dried meat and bread for himself, stowing it away in his pack. He comes over to stand beside Corlith, saying “So, this door to the northeast?” Virro crouches down and opens the door, looking through.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Slobberchops pauses in his wheel of cheese meal to look up at Virro and consider the elf. He cocks his head then uses his back paw to scratch behind his ear. Keeping the wheel of cheese in contact with him, he moves around to chomp on the ones that Virro offered.
Opening the Eastern door reveals a lit tunnel, but nothing like the Dead Three tunnels they traversed before. These tunnels are 9 feet high and have curved ceilings. An oil lantern is hanging from the ceiling about 10' away that is fitted with thick panes of green-tinted glass, shedding dim light in a 10' radius. The walls are made of brick and the floor is stone-tiled and on the air lingers a thick scent of incense. The sound of moving water can be heard.
Corlith watches as Virro opens the door, catching the aroma of incense on the breeze that comes through it.
"I think this is going to be a far better experience than the previous tunnels", he says with a little relief, as he waits for the others to decide who will lead them through what he assumes are sewers.
"ah! Convenient..." Archie states as she attempts to unhook the oil lantern, only to find it bolted to the ceiling, "huh, not so convenient apparently... there's more lighting the tunnel but who is going first? Reed? Corlith? You guys taking point again? Give me a shout if you smell gas again I don't want a repeat of last time, I know it was my bad last time and you did warn me, but I'm gonna listen better this time haha"
”Stings a little but as long as they don’t jump out at me again I should be okay.”
Reed the does his best to move from shadow to shadow, and heads down the hallway (north if the tunnel runs north south) until he comes to a doorway or corner he can peek around.
Reed moves past the entrance to the tunnel into the sewer tunnel where a stone trench is cut into the middle of the tunnel to channel the water and waste, which is the water flow you were hearing. Looking South and North, you see the green lanterns hung at regular intervals, and the scent of incense is very strong.
Not seeing anything that gives you alarm, Reed heads north in the sewer tunnel until it turns a corner west. Very silently, he peers around this corner.
Virro follows behind Reed, about 15-20 feet behind him. He looks at the ceiling and floors, trying to make sense of what might lie before them, but he can’t really make it out. He will wait until he receives a signal from Reed.

Reed stands up from behind the barrel he’d dove behind for cover. He looks around for Slobberchops.
”Guess the cat is just good at spotting imps.”
Reed wipes off some of the blood still oozing down his shirt and sighs.
”Sorry, mum. Looks like the shirt’s ruined.” Reed says quietly to himself.
He fishes around in his pack and finds the healing potion he’d taken from Thursties’ room and drinks it down [(2+3+2)=7hp]
Reed then looks around the room for doorways, concealed or otherwise. (Perception: 12+7=19)

“Sounds like the sewers this way, running water and some rats”, Corlith feeds back.l after listening intently for a little while.
”I am not hearing anything bigger, so sounds safe”.
Reed nods his head at the other door.
"It's quiet through this one."
He then takes in the provisions stored in this room. He breaks up a few pieces of jerky to more bitesized chunks for Slobberchops.
"That's a lot of food and water to be storing. Enough for a village," Reed says. "I wonder if they were planning on being holed up here for awhile."
Reed then goes and opens the quiet door (the western one) and takes a quick peek at what's on the other side.
