Corlith stays back with the others, and seeing Reed unslinging his bow whispers, "It seems our halfling scout might have spotted something".
He waits for some confirmation of what exactly is happening, but grips his shield a little tighter and turns to make sure nothing is approaching from the south.
Roo waits, quiet, his head jerking from side to side as he scans the situation, and his allies. He waits for the command to engage or avoid, whatever it should be, though he looks antsy, itching for a fight...
“Take them out!” Virro sends back quickly via message, getting his crossbow ready and moving forward. He loads a bolt, ready to take a shot when they come into view. With his hand, he motions a “move forward” motion behind him, indicating to everyone else to move up.
To Corlith, he simply sees Virro moving forward now with his crossbow in hand.
"What is it? I am pretty sure it is ok to speak quietly", he says quietly as he follows Virro, his shield in one hand and his arcane focus in the other.
Reed steps further forward, so the backs of the cultists are in view. He motions for Virro to take the one on the left and he’ll take the one on the right.
When Virro is ready, Reed silently counts down from three with the fingers on the bowstring. Then he lets the arrow go.
Shortbow: (15+7)=22 to hit; (6+5 plus 6+6 sneak attack)= 23 damage.
Unaware of what is going on behind them, Virro and Reed line up their shots on the distasteful cultists. Releasing their weapons at the same time, they surprise both their foes, Cultist A almost going to his knees after Reed's arrow lodges itself deep in his upper thigh.
Slobberchops, after finishing his wheel of cheese and honestly feeling quite sleepy, sees his new friends leave the dry cellar. Debating for a moment, the cat decides to follow and seeing his halfling around the corner, it takes flight and lands on Reed's head with a thump. The weight of the creature is almost painful, but as soon as the cat looks towards what the two were up to, it hisses.
"I guess not", Corlith mutters as Reed and Virro begin the attack.
Stepping over the stream of sewer water, he moves forwards so he gets a better look at what is happening. Seeing the two cultists and nothing else, despite the odd behaviour of the cat creature Reed befriended, he pockets his orb and points his hand towards the cultist that Reed appears to have hurt quite badly already. An icy cold beam emits from his hand towards the cultist.
With that he moves back so the cultists can no longer see him.

Wilfred doesn't respond to Corlith's message, he just keeps quiet. He doesn't want to think about it for now, but can't get the image of Archie out of his head. He ears perk up at the mention of wine bottles. He's curious as to what they have, but decides to look later.
The sound of arrows going and screams snap Wilfred into focus. He see's Reya run forward. "Hey, don't hog all the fun!" He dashes behind her.
Reed staggers a little as Slobberchops settles on his head.
"A little warning would be nice next time," Reed says, laughing but trying to be serious at the same time. When the flying cat hisses, Reed looks carefully down the hallway. "Imps?"
Not being able to see one, he takes aim at the same cultist he injured with his first arrow and lets another one fly (16+7=23 to hit for 4+5=9 damage)
He then moves across the hallway, avoiding the bad water in the middle, and slips into the dead end hallway to the north to take cover (Stealth: 14+9 = 23)
Virro moves directly west, just past Reed and staying in the hallway. He takes a shot at the cultist, rapidly loading a bolt as he moves. When he pulls the trigger, he feels that it may have missed and shot high. He snarls in frustration.
Crossbow : 10 to hit, for 5 points of piercing damage.

Archie moves up to just around the corner, placing herself just south west of where virro was before, she eyes down the corridor and wonders how many of her allies she would end up burning if she tried a fire bolt attack. No, she needed something else..
She produces the fire bolt in her hand and then crushes it small, intensifying the arcane, throwing the magic notes into the air it splits into three and floats above her head, striking a super hero pose, mostly for her own benefit Archie points at the cultist "begone you shit!", and the three motes of flaming energy scream down the hall dancing around her allies and heading for the cultist instead, each mote slams into the target without fail. (8 force damage collectively)
Virro's and Archie's attacks land home on the remaining cultist after Reed finishes off the other one. An imp suddenly appears next to Reya and stings the girl in the neck before she knows what is happening. (18 dam)
The remaining cultist turns towards the group, but you can't see his face behind the gold mask he wears.
Roo rounds the corner in time to see the imp appear next to Reya and attack.
"Buck!" He shouts, surprised by the thing seeming to appear from no where...and as he does so, his long next thrusting forward like he's about to reach out and peck something, a spiral of energy crackles from between his beak and streaks across the divide between him and the fiend.
His eyes are wide, wider than usual, and clearly surprised...
Watching everyone else run around the corner to join the battle, Corlith once again advances so he can see the state of the conflict. His eyes narrow as they are drawn to the Imp. He makes a motion with his hand bring it down in front of him, and radiant fire descends towards the fiend.
He keeps an eye out for other combatants who might be drawn to the conflict by the noise.

Reed touches his earing and looks back at Virro.
'Two culties about 50' ahead, going in the other direction. Should we take them?' Reed sends a message to Virro.
Reed is already unslinging his bow and nocking an arrow.
