Reya pops her head into the vault, noticibly not looking towards Thavius.
"Archie is dizzy. I don't know what's wrong with her, but after seeing her inside that suit of armor... I'm worried. Is there anyway we can get it off? And um.... he is back."
Reed bobs his head a little from side to side as he listens to Reya.
"Oh yeah, no, at least not that we could figure out. Probably kill her to take that armor off," Reed says. Then frowns slightly when Reya mentions that 'he' is back. "That guy's a real dick. Though you do have to appreciate how much of a stickler for the rules he is."
Reed goes back out into the hallway, cautiously and takes a look over at Archie/Iron Maiden.
“Ok, we need to check on Archie, we really don’t have much more time to mess with him. I’m going to knock him out, let’s tie him up and figure out what to do with him later. Yes?” Virro pulls out a flail in his pack that he found earlier and he whacks Thavius on the head with it, doing nonlethal damage. “Hey, Reed, can you come tie this guy up?”
Flail : 20 to hit, for 9 points of nonlethal bludgeoning damage to the head.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
As Reed approaches he sees the blue flame flickering brightly within Archie's armour and the IronMaiden turns to him to reply "THE SOURCE IS NOT AN ADEQUATE CARETAKER OF THIS BODY.
EXHAUSTION, POISON, AND OTHER HINDRANCES HAVE OCCURED. SYSTEMS ABNORMAL. I WILL SUPPRESS THE SOURCE'S SENTIENCE UNTIL VITALS BECOME NOMINAL."
Corlith watches as Reed leaves with Reya to check on Archie, and Virro knocks out Thavius.
"Ok, a quick sweep of what's left, then we get out of here", he says as he stands and leaves the room, pocketing the vial of blood. "Hey Reed, remember to lock this room before we move. You emptied all the chests right?".
He then locks at Ironmaiden now glowing blue again. He is about to say something, but realises there really isn't much that can be said, and simply waits for the others.
Virro clears off one of the wooden tables. He pulls Thavius up onto one of the tables, facing down. He takes out his rope and makes loops around the table, tying him to it, very tight. He looks for an article of clothing in the room, lifts his head up and shoves it into his mouth, tying that behind his head. He makes sure that the bindings are tight, then says “Fine. Let’s go.” He leans in close to Thavius and says “We’ll be back for you later. And finish this.” He goes out to examine Archie, looking to see if healing is needed. “Do we need to rest here before moving on? I could do with a short bit of a rest myself.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Reed looks from Archie and then goes back to the doorway once everyone exits. He almost looks up but, Corlith's question reminds him of something he hadn't picked up yet and he quickly goes back in and picks up the broken pieces of the dragon dagger. "Archie could probably put this back together."
He then takes the key out, double checks that everyone has left, and locks it up, testing it a couple of times to make sure it's secure.
"I think a rest would do Archie a world of good," Reed says once the door is locked. "But I don't want to rest in there with that guy."
Corlith happily sits down for a short rest, looking over to Virro and the shield.
"You should be careful with that shield", he says simply before taking out the vial of blood and keeping it in hand as he sits there whilst everyone rests.
"I do not believe we will get anything else from the former High Overseer. Chances are he was a mere pawn that was never privy to any of the actual plan. My personal view is that we hand him over to the Flaming Fists, and use this whole complex as proof of what the Duke and he were up to. Along with the corpse of Odious. His own shadow gives away his guilt anyway", he says eventually.
"However, I will also say I do not care enough to argue this point. Right now, I want to finish searching this place and get out as soon as possible. But it does beg the question, 'Where do we go from here?'".
Reya takes a seat next to one of the wardrobes and starts bandaging up her wounds. She was worse off than she thought she muses.
She casts her eyes down when Corlith starts talking about Thavius. How could she have followed someone so blindly? How could he have sold himself to a devil like that? she just didn't get it and it angered her.
She looks to Corlith as he asks his question, "Well.. we still have that puzzle box. The Duke wanted in to it for some reason, there has to be a way to open it. And we have to save Elturel, right? If not..." she glances away and towards the door, "I will go. I have to save my beautiful city, somehow."
IronMaiden sits and looks around like some kind of sentinel before abruptly interrupting Reya as she looks to the door and speaks of leaving "YOU CANNOT LEAVE... I, DESIGNATION IRONMAIDEN, HAVE BEEN GROWING MORE SENTIENT, EVEN DURING TIMES WHEN THE SOURCE IS ACTIVE... DID THE SOURCE NOT SPEAK OF SOMETHING YOU WISHED TO SHARE WITH THE GROUP?" They pointedly look to reya slowly cocking their head to the side.
Reed looks at 'IronMaiden' still not completely sure that they're not really Archie just screwing around and then over at Reya wondering what they're talking about.
Roo is glad to see Thavius live after the discussion on his fate, though would have rather seen him locked in one of the chests while they waited but...well, no plan is perfect.
The little Gallus seems to disconnect himself from the situation for a few minutes after that, resting his mind and trying to catch his breath after all the fighting. When he finally begins to come back around, he picks up on the situation Archie. His fingers run through Glory of Morning's fur, petting along her neck.
"Have to figure out what to do with you soon, buck. This whole thing is getting pretty hot." He says to his possum, gentle but firm. "If it gets much worse than this, I'll have to send you back to the flock, yes? Just no stealing eggs like a bad possum, buck."
He keeps looking from Glory of Morning toward Archie as he says this, or rather...from Glory of Morning to the Iron Maiden.
"We have to do something to help her." He says to the others, slow and somber. "I wish I knew what, buck. I barely understand the clucking armor she's trapped inside of."
Corlith sits and ponders Reya's point for a while. They did have the puzzle box, and it did seem to be important. If they could open it they could learn more, but enough to return a city from the depths of hell or wherever it was, he doubted it.
And then there was Archie. Having seen the state she was in, he knew that it was beyond himself both medically and technologically.
"We need to find that suits creator, and a priest well versed in healing and...more", he says quietly to Roo so Ironmaiden would not hear.
He then waits for Reya to spill the beans on whatever it was Ironmaiden was referring to.
Reya stares at IronMaiden for a minute as she tries to figure out what he is talking about, her worry for Archie fogging her brain. "Well, when I asked her how to take off this suit, she said that the only person who coud take it off was a master Thell. It apparently wasn't meant to be worn by beings, it was made for a power core and she isn't sure it can be taken off." She looks around at the others, "Anyone know of this master Thell? We need to find to her."
She then looks to the IronMaiden, "So you can hear what is going on when Archie is present, can she hear whats going on now as well? Is she ok? Are you able to help her?"
A flush creeps up Reya's neck and brightens her cheeks as IronMaiden brings up what she and Archie were talking about. "I uh, I.." she studders for a moment, then her normal resolve takes over, "Yes." she looks at the rest of the boys, " I am sorry. I'm sorry I didn't listen to any of you about Thavius and blindly followed my faith. It was something that has been drilled into me, and I couldn't look past it, I'm sorry. I can understand if you all do not want me to stay with you." She hangs her head in defeat.
"Archie hadn't seen Master Thell in months, and we have only known Archie for a matter of days. I am afraid we don't have a clue where she is", Corlith replies. "And don't worry about being taken in by Thavius, he is a persuasive person and faith by its nature is a little blind".
He then turns to Ironmaiden, "We are about to go sneaking about, do you have a volume control? Can you speak quieter?".
Reed doesn't need any encouragement to get going. Whatever is going on with Archie / Ironmaiden was way beyond his abilities to make sense of. He slips out of the wardrobe/change room, goes south to the main corridor and then west, exploring the last bits of hallway that way that they hadn't explored yet.

Perception for anything a little halfling might find interesting: (8+7) = 15
