Nefire leans over the pile of stuff Krumar seemed to acquire and plucks the deck of hand painted cards out. "These are kinda cool, would be fun to bring back to the clan... mind if I have them?"
Nefire looks around the ghosttown, "Well, did we want to check things out in this dilapidated place or go back to Mudge and the friendlies?"
Krumar plucks them back "Yes as a matter of fact I do mind. There are not ordinary playing cards you litt.... er big brave soul.....These are ornicate and are not to be used just because they are pretty or fun....Here take this necklace instead" Krumar tosses the necklace (Talisman of frost restiance) to Nef if she lets go of the cards
Meaning to have expressed her appreciation sooner, Raevyn strides over leans in and kisses Nefire on the cheek. “Thank you.” There were quite a few reasons for the doctor to be grateful for what their firecracker axewarrior has provided her. She deserved more than a pat on the back, and a simple show of thanks, however it was a start. There may even be a smile tugging at the corner of doctors eyes as she pets her thumb along the stitching of the velvet mask. She’d don it.
Kneeling down Raevyn checks in with Pauwau. She was curious about the conversation shared amongst the wolves last night. Unless there was anything for her to note of concern, or anything to address before leaving, she’d proceed with answering Nefire’s question. ”I’m satisfied.” She was comfortable with returning.
Dabbert twiddles the mirror around in his hands, rotating it back and forth, looking at himself, looking over the design of it and how it's built. Feeling that there is something different about the mirror, but having no idea whatsoever as to what, he finally stows it, stands, and stretches his back and limbs out.
"Up to uh...you folken." Dabbert says in answer to Nefire's question. "I'm good with whatever. I will admit, though, that I'm looking forward to being back in civilization, even if its the uh...or..."
"That sounds wonderful....a warm bath, a roof without holes, windows with glass....a deliciously made meal....Do any of you like to gamble? Dice specifically? All these wonderful trinkets I picked up, I only find fair that you may have some of the ones I do not need...."Krumar sees Dabbert look into a mirror "Uh a mirror seems to be a waste in your hands Dabbert...."
Nefire is quite taken aback by Raevyn's appreciation, and it quiets her right down. But it just distracts her for a moment. Looking back to Muir and his 'sparkly' she gets angry. "Don't you dare throw something at me cause it is sparkly. Honestly, I would think you'd be more interested in that than me! And I didn't say I wanted them because they were pretty, my Aunt Maudine is quite the artist and would love those."
Not quite as angry as she could be, she is going for the grapple and not just tearing them from his hands... yet.
Nefire jumps up and makes a quick grab at the deck of intricately designed cards. Krumar calls out in alarm as her hand grabs the deck. Knowing he is surely to lose any physical struggle with the diminutive dynamite he tries his wiles instead. With a quick reaction and a quickly muttered silvery phrase, destiny is upended for a moment and chances are reset. (Silvery Barbs) But destiny is often destined to happen no matter what and despite the magic in play the cards change hand and a triumphant Nefire stands gloating in from of Krumar...
Behind Krumar another has crept up and decided to use the brouhaha as just the distraction needed! The lithe goth doctor of death stealthily steps up and tries her skills at a little light pickpocketing... She's surprisingly good. But not that good. Krumar, distracted but now very wary spots Raevyn just as she has half pulled his newfound handkerchief out of his pocket. He quickly whirls around and snatches the handkerchief from her, catching her in her mischief...
Meanwhile... Dabbert admires his newfound mirror for a few moments and then stashes it securely away before very carefully not insulting the Orcs in a way that is very insulting. Sylrieth is unusually quiet and uninvolved in the chaos... Perhaps he finally found some spirits?? And Jaylan is sitting back watching it all, amused. The Orcs are just huddled in random blankets and such they scrounged up and not at all looking forward to the cold journey home. Yet very much looking forward to that journey being over.
Krumar begins to yell waving his arms and pointing as if his Starbucks coffee was made incorrectly "YOU THIEVES! How dare you snatch and how dare you try to pickpocket me! The nerve...Why I, I, I am going to speak to the manager! No, No, the king! The king will hear about this. You had every opportunity to take these trinkets in the cave but you were all too scared! Scared! Krumar had the nerve to take all these wonderful trinkets and baubles and you snatch them like a little child...L-I-T-T-L-E Child!" Krumar spins around on his heel "Annnnnnd you! You, You sneaky little thieving thief! You act all scholarly chaging wolves to pets, spouting of inteligent quips and nuggets of knowledge, but you are nothing more than a common thief!! Dabbert, I demand you arrest them for thievery! You are a knight or something, bound by honor and rules and that sort of thing....or at the very least I demand recompense!
Dabbert sighs, watching as chaos erupts over...whatever the hell that was? A snot rag? Were they fighting over Krumar's snot rag.
Slowly, he rises to his feet, then dusts his clothes over before walking over toward the kerfluffle.
He promptly starts smacking hands.
"Bad." He says, lacing his words with as much venom as possible. "Bad. Bad bad bad. If anyone here is supposed to be an overly dramatic uh...diva, it's Krumar. No offense buddy."
He says 'buddy' the same way a cat with a hairball says 'yak'.
While the noisy chaos unfolds, Syl is unusually quiet. He rattles a sack around in his hands, listening to the clickity clack of the pieces of wood inside. Then he fastens the sack to his side and settles in for a rest, curled up with his old belaying pin.

"Scared? We were too busy saving your ass." Seeing Krumar's tantrum for what it was, she openly yawns in his face as he calls her little. She then shrugs, "You'll get over it."
As Dabbert starts smacking her hands, she smirks, "Careful.. I might like that." and she winks at him before packing up and getting ready to head out to the Frosted Beard.
"Sweet heart you're uh...gonna have to pull Krumar's weave if you keep doing that." He says, trying to be funny. "He's gonna be jealous."
Seeming like he's trying to diffuse tensions, he reaches into his gear and pulls the mirror back out.
"I uh...don't know shit about this, if someone else wants it. I was going to sell it or barter or something but...I don't uh...know what it is or what it does, if anything. Maybe it's more useful to one of you?"
He shows it to the three gathered around, trying to get Nefire's attention as she goes, then making sure Syl and Jalan see the mirror as well.
"Oh yeah? I bet Aunt Maudine would like that as well! Maybe then she would know what her hair looks like. Seen a tornado on top of an old wrinkly womans head? This is worse." And if Dabbert hands it to her she'll take it, but she is done with snatching... for now.
Krumar incredulously says “What?! After you took my playing cards and my necklace now your grubby childlike hands are going to take a mirror for your aunt who hasn’t shaved in nearly 3 decades!? No, no, no I demand it as payment for you stealing my trinkets”
"Guys, guys...there's enough of ol' Dabbert to uh...go around." The warrior says, trying to diffuse the situation. He then returns the mirror to his bag. "Let's uh...revisit this mirror conversation later yeah?"
Sometime during all this commotion Habub leaned into Winug's ear and whispered a few words. There was a brief, quiet exchange and eventually Habub gave Winug a bit of a shove towards the group. Stumbling at first, but then sighing and making his way over on his own, Winug clears his throat in a half hearted attempt to get the group's attention. "I could be identifying your objects if any of you had a pearl and an feather I could be borrowing..." ((I don't think I gave any pearls out but if you do...))
"Otherwise at home I could do easily," he adds and looks to the group to see if they're interested.
You have all had a full Long Rest and are fully healed and recuperated. You have breakfast and scrounge as much blankets and such for the Orcs as possible and eventually you head out to return to Eisloch? Or you could abandon the Orcs to find their own way home and straight back to Vaire City? Let me know where you are going... (Or squabble more, that is entertaining!). :D
Krumar angry and saddened by the turn of events slowly drags his feet walking with the group "I guess we are walking the freed captives back to their camps...Maybe they have tirnkets you can steal from them too you thieving thieves"
When Krumar spins her way, Raevyn tries to maintain a straight face until his final words, then exaggerates appearing appalled at his insult. "Me?" She gasps, clutching her various necklaces. "A common thief?" She turns her nose up in disgust. Then she glances over with her violet eyes and flutters her lashes and feigns blushing. "Caught red handed admiring your glutes." She claps a hand over her cheek to hide amusement pulling at her lip.
(Mix of Performance/Deception for funsies: 18 rolled in log - same cha mod for both)
"Mischievous, or a bad girl perhaps," The doctor winks to Dabbert in her own agreement along with Nefire's words. "But no common thief." She asserts before adding. "I enjoy sharing." She smiles with a playful smirk that sunk her dimple.
Raevyn strides over to Pauwau, petting their fur with a soft chuckle to herself. "Pauwau would of look quite dapper with such a beautiful handkerchief though." She muses while giving the wolf scritches under their chin. "They'd wear it better than Krumar." She teases.
When one of the Orc's speak up, Rae plucks a raven feather from her hood and offers it along with her own services. "I can assist with the work load and aid with identification."
Over the long rest everyone who had a magical item learned it's properties. They can of course share this information or not as they see fit. With a couple of items having changed hands (deck of cards and the talisman with the rune on it) I'll say that Raevyn and Winug can fashion together a ritual using one of the other precious stones and the raven's feather to do an Identify on these items if their possessor wishes.
"You were just holding them for me. Thanks Krumar!" and with a skip in her step, she starts leading the group back so that the orcs can go home. "I wonder what this green shit does... was kinda cool how that huge thing used it to heal himself."
