You all arrive yo the library without incident, and it actually is a very big hall. Matter of fact, to your guess, it would probably taken up a good chunk of the Monastery building. You a uncountable number of rows of bookshelves, and more then plenty of enough tables and seats. There also happens to be a giant map on one wall of the monastery layout, and sitting behind a counter that is in front of the map is a female elf, who happens to have on sone sort of reading glasses, and is currently immersed in a book.
Nargun, when you move closer to see the map, the elf behind the counter then looks up from her book, and immediately quietly closes it and sets it down, and takes off her glasses and clips it shut, before hanging it on the neck of her shirt, and she asks, "Hello, is there something that I may help you with?"
Huzur joins Nargun at the map and starts studying it as well.
"Do you have copies of this map we could have?" Huzur asks, while continuing to look at the map, particularly for areas that clearly exist but don't have any details on the map.
After getting his shirt, Shugo walks casually back to his group, clearly trying to hide the fact that his chest still hurts from both the bruise and the burns....maybe he shouldn't have gotten a new shirt. Having it open means it didn't rub on the burn. Dear gods that stings. Ah well, he'll just have to deal with it now.
"Yeah."He replies to Huzar, "The library sounds like the perfect place to start. Lead the way!"
Following the half-orc to the endless shelves of books, the elf squints into the depths of the library. He doubts even he could read all those in his lifetime...hopefully that's not the universal knowledge...ugh, that would take forever. He needs to find something within the next 30 years, preferably faster.
Taking note of Nargun and Huzar looking at a map, and the elven woman at the desk, he tears his gaze away from the endless halls, and walks over to them. "Yeah, a map would sure be helpful." He says, clearly asking for one without being blatant about it. "Or maybe a tour? But I'm sure you'd like to get back to your reading."He cocks his head, smiling at her then looks down at her book trying to see it's title before looking back up at her. "Say, have you had any luck with this Universal Knowledge? Are you one of the few fortunate souls who managed to find out what exactly that means?"
Huzur joins Nargun at the map and starts studying it as well.

"Ah, most certainly!" The elf reaches into a drawer and pulls put a rolled up scroll, and hands it to Huzur abd comments, "This monastery is pretty big, so I often get requests for maps."

"Say, have you had any luck with this Universal Knowledge? Are you one of the few fortunate souls who managed to find out what exactly that means?"
You see the book is titled, "Adventures of The Seeker."
The librarian looks around as you ask the question, and looks at you and says, "What do you mean? Every single staff is a vessel of the Universal Knowledge. I thought they told you that everyone working here already possessed the power. But not to worry, the Universal Knowledge is not something that is gained through something like reading a entire library, but rather it is within all of us. This place however only helps you find it, or at least the ones who will do good with it."
Noting the book's title, he continues his conversation with the woman, though he strategically ignores her question and almost seems as if he's talking more to himself than the woman. "Ah interesting. So does that mean you have learned this Universal Knowledge? Or does each staff member hold part of this power? Or perhaps Universal Knowledge is something that is different for each individual..." Focusing his gaze back on the elf he asks, "By this place do you mean the library or the monastery in general?" He sighs then grumbles, "I wish someone around here would give a strait forward answer."
The librarian replies politely, "Everyone in the Monastery has it. And yes, the Universal Knowledge is indeed unique to each person, but its full potential is unleashed when a vessel of the Universal Knowledge has done 'the greatest thing that they can do.' Although the only one here at this monastery in all of its lifetime that unlocked uts true potential was Professor Libreth, and one other student."
You see on the map the locations of several classes, the layout of the dorms and the office of Professor Libreth and every single other staff. You also find out that the Monastery has a large basement or underground cellar. What do you want to do next?
The librarian replies, "Well, he is probably a full grown adult right now, but rumor has it that he trains day and night in the Lonely Canyon, in a hidden part."
You also remember that you had gone near the Lonely Canyon while on your way to the Monastery in the carriage, and that it is only a day on horseback from here.
Huzur is intrigued by the ex-student training by themselves in the nearby canyon.
"If we don't find anything here of interest, that old student might at least be less cryptic about everything," Huzur says to the others.
The half-orc will wait for the others to finish any questions they have for the librarian but once everyone is done, he will head towards whatever stairway/doorway the map indicates leads to the basement.
Assuming no one else has anything to say. You all make your way through the Monastery, but when you make it to the door that supposedly leads to the underground basement, you find that it is locked, but you can't exactly see what is locking it. It seems to be bound by something else.
Before you can even begin to look at it and investigate, you suddenly hear someone clear their throat behind you, and when you turn around, Professor Libreth stands their, but he looks rather calm.
"I had a feeling the four of you might be the kind to break some rules," Professor Libreth said, "But then again, their has been no rules saying that you aren't permitted to enter. But just in case you do decide to break the rules, lets decrease that chance in the future by not breaking the rules now, but rather bend them."
He then walks over to the door, and puts his palm flat on the center, and blue runes light up over the door before fading away, and Professor Libreth steps back, and begins to leave, but not before commenting, "Oh, and please do try not to damage any of those artifacts that lay down in there."
He then leaves, his cane tapping against the floor as he walks away.
Huzur, you happen to remember the tour guide mentioning something about the great library having maps of the place.
"We can try the library first," Huzur suggests to others. "The maps may give us a better idea of what may be hidden here."
Unless there's an objection, Huzur starts towards the library, while keeping an eye on the flow of people around them.

Not being overly good with the whole reading and writing thing, Nargun moves over to inspect and try and memorise the map.

Huzur looks at the map on the wall to make sure it matches up with the map on the scroll that he has been given.
"Basement?" he asks the others before registering the mention of another student who unlocked the secret.
He looks back at the librarian.
"Is that student still here? Who were they?"
Nargun shrugs, if they were going to be exploring the basement is closer than the canyon.

"I'm curious about how we break rules we're unaware of?" Huzur says as the Professor walks away.
But not wanting to risk the chance of the lock setting again, Huzur opens the door and steps inside, keeping the door open for the others.
Nargun frowns feeling somewhat chastised but knowing it is deserved.
" Well...inside then. Did someone bring a torch?"
