As you walk in, suddenly blue flame colored torches light up on each side of a hall in front of you, which each of you are able to fit in single file. When you walk out of the hall, suddenly the dark room is alit by some unknown light source, and you see a giant room, and at the sides of the giant room are giant shelves, all filled with artifacts of many kinds. Rings, old clothing, old armor and weapons, scroll s, almost any kind of artifact that you could think of. And at the end of the room, there stands on a pedestal a giant blue orb, that glows ominously.
Huzur laughs quietly to himself when he sees the room.
"There are many people I know who would pay handsomely to trade places with me right now," Huzur says, taking in the vast wealth of artifacts around them.
His gaze does fix on the blue orb, wondering if it's picking through their minds, deciding if they are friend of foe.
Huzur, Nargun, you all see that the blue orb seems to be slightly pulsing, and that you can't help but feel drawn to it. Unconsciously, you find your feet moving by themselves to the blue orb, and it seems to slightly glow brighter as you walk towards it. Suddenly, both of your hands can't help but reach up, and your hands are only a inch away from it when you come to your senses. Once you realize that you are only a inch away from touching the orb, you can't help but feel a aura of calmness and power radiate from the orb, which you can feel much more intensely now that you are closer to it. What do you want to do, touch it or not?
Nargun, the very instant that you put ypur finger on the orb, it feels as if electricity had just coursed through your arm, and begin to spread through your body, and you can't help but feel your body begin tremble. But even more noticeable to you, is the things that are flowing into your mind. Things that you never knew before flooding into your mind and memory, completely etching themselves into your brain. You can feel the knowledge flowing into you like a tidal wave, knowledge ranging from a immense number of things, from how to keep a person alive from suffering multiple stab wounds, all the way to solving one of the hardest math and science equations that were ever known to all of mankind.

The very moment that you put your finger on the orb, you suddenly feel as if electricity went coursing through your arm and into your entire body. However, you suddenly feel a variety of information begin to flood your mind, and it all came so sudden that you are almost overwhelmed by the amount. You feel ypur legs buckle, and you fall flat on the ground, your vision becoming blurry, and your eye lids becoming heavy. You fight to try to stay awake, but you are unable to. The last thing you see is Professor Libreth walking in and standing over you, and you hear him say, "You have taken on a incredible gift and burden. Lets see if you can handle it."
"No. It was too much information to absorb," Huzur says. "If I can concentrate there isn't too much that get past my notice and I can't remember the last time someone was able to sneak up and surprise me, but this was just too much to take in. It was as if everything in that library was trying to get in my head at once."
He goes quiet for a moment.
"That orb must be related to this universal knowledge."
Huzur grunts again in frustration and shoves his bed back against the wall.
He looks around the room they're in to see if there's any other patients here.
You are alone. Suddenly, to your surprise, you hear the opening and closing of a door, and when you look, Professor Libreth walks in. He takes a moment to look at your too before walking over to your beds, mumbling something to himself, his cane tapping along the floor. Once he reaches you, he clears his throat, "Ahem. Well, this is quite the predicament. Tell me, how are you two feeling?"
Professor Libreth, taking your silence as a no, he simply says, "You know, usually those that receive the Universal Knowledge are not quite as bad of a condition as you two are in. And there is a reason for that. Now, I don't believe that it is too far-fetched to say that you thought that the Monastery that you were in was quite suspicious, hmm? Well, allow me to enlighten you. There was nothing suspicious about the Monastery. It thought all those classes because everything that you were to learn in that school for 4 years was meant to, per se, lighten the pain that you would have experienced from receiving the Universal Knowledge, and increase your chances of surviving the ordeal."
"That was the universal knowledge?" he asks. "Did you think we wouldn't touch the orb?"
Huzur looks over at Nargun and raises an eyebrow before looking back to the professor. "If you thought we had suspicions about this place, you must have suspected we would examine a glowing blue orb that seemed to be at the heart of the entire monastery. Why did you let us in the basement?"
Professor Libreth adjusted his glasses, and he said, "Because, only good-hearted people can possess the Universal Knowledge. You see, I have been scouring this entire world for people that could fit into that category, but something about you two just seems to ring a bell. Something about you is different. I believe that you two may be what tips the scale. I have made more mistakes then any man, woman, or child in this world, but I do not for one moment believe that allowing you there would be a mistake."
He then straightened his posture, and said, "However, just because your case is one of a kind, seeing as how you survived your interaction with the Orb of Universal Knowledge, that does not mean that you training from now on will be any easier. Rather, in some cases, it will get only harder. Now, hurry up now, the crew is waiting to meet you."
Suddenly, he taps the tip of hia cane on each of your feet, and you suddenly feel yourself become healed, but not only that, you for so.e reason feel stronger. He then walks out of the room whistling, and says before he leaves, "Oh, and by the way, we aren't at the Monastery anymore." He then stands by the open door and waits you.
"The amount of blood on my hands will never let me be called good," Huzur finally says. "Maybe that's what you notice as different."
He then flexes the achy muscles he had woken up to and smiles when he notices the pain is gone.
"I didn't have anything more to lose when I came here and that hasn't changed yet," Huzur says to Nargun. He then follows Libreth to the door. "So where are we then?"

Nargun, you faint from the sheer amount of information flooding into your mind. Huzur, what do you do?
Huzur watches as Nargun falls to the ground. He holds that sight for a moment then shrugs.
"I could have done nothing by staying home," Huzur says.
He reaches out and touches the orb.

Nargun, Huzur, you both wake up in a room, both of you on a bed next to each other. Both of you have a pounding headache. What do you do?
" OW!"
Nargun sat up gingerly holding her head.
"Hmm," Huzur says as he sits up. "So, perhaps we do not touch glowing orbs for a little while."
He swings his legs around and stands up.
"Did you see Libreth in there?" Huzur asks Nargun. "He mentioned a gift and a burden. Do you remember anything?"
Nargun shook her head....
" Maybe? Do you remember any of what you saw in the orb?"
Huzur grunts.
"No. It was too much information to absorb," Huzur says.
