I've just posted a thread to judge interest in a possible homebrew world I want to create and it would be great if you have the time to read it and let me know what you think: here
DM: Since there are many variant rules for diagonal movement in PHB, DMG, XGtE, can you note the 5-10-5 rule in the Homebrew rules on the Guild page? To be clear, is that 5-10-5-5-10-5 or 5-10-5-10-5-10? Thanks.
Alright. We've been playing for about a month? What do you guys think about this campaign so far? What parts do you like and what parts do you dislike. What are your thoughts on the homebrew rules and homebrew monsters? (Don't worry about the low sell price of stuff. There is a way to make money from selling loot, trust me.). What do you think about the travel mechanics? Do you enjoy my DMing? What parts of it could use improvement and how? I will appreciate your feedback.
I've been enjoying the campaign very much. It's good that have one that has running commentary most days, and like the open options given in the game. Also it's nice to invert some tropes (like all goblins are chaotic evil) and keep some as well (like Jay being her own "were" creature). Homebrew stuff, now that things are just appearing before discussion, means that we have a good list to revise on and easily accessible. Travel has been kept pretty simple and straight forward, which does mean some ease for such things.
All in all, can't really think of any complaints. Really enjoying the game, and happy to keep on playing.
I think the campaign so far is pretty great, and I enjoy turning tropes on their heads as Poke said. My only gripe would be I think we said we would slow it down some for those who can't post all the time and then you push the thread after a little bit of a lull, rather than waiting a day. I'm usually on, but I know others aren't as active.
That said, its 4th of July week and I'll be unavailable starting tomorrow until the end of Sunday. I hope you have an excellent holiday and those who aren't in the US, have a great week!

I agree with Wibblywoobly, campaign is beign great so far but I must admit that I almost get lost sometimes when I had to look even 3 pages to find my last post and start reading from there. But aside for that it's been great. I guess that we will be able to adjust our rithm :)
Sessions won't really work. Usually I move things forward when either one of the following conditions are met: - 1 Day has passed since my last post - 3 out of 6 players have posted. (This is usually what ends up happening)
How about I increase the second condition to 5 out of 6 instead of 3 out of 6. Does that sound good?
I think the main thing is if you've noticed that someone hasn't been in the thread for a number of posts (over a page or two) then just nudge the rest to wait abit. I know I get carried away with with story hooks etc and then find i've been over 40% of the posts for the last day
Okay so... I'm going to keep the old conditions as they are. But instead of just letting the thread move forward, I will stop progressing the story when a number of pages has passed since a player has posted.
What number of pages do you think is a good number to put the brakes in? two?
Two sounds fine. Thought I would advise players that if you know you can't post for a while (48 hours plus) then perhaps let us know here so we aren't waiting for a post that won't turn up.

It says 13 because I changed it to 13. It's because you are in wolf form.
Ah, that makes sense. Guess keeping it in track for Wild Shape is a thing.

Sure. It's 5-10-5-10-5-... (I think this is the PHB rules) I'll note that down in the Public Notes.
Gen: Second one (5-10-5-10-5), I had the same thing in the goblin encounter.
Ok, thanks. That’s the DMG (252) variant. The PHB (192)variant counts all diagonal as 5ft for simplicity.

Page updated. Also added the extra movement costs for walking though allies and enemies.

PbP Character: A few ;)
maybe it would be an idea to have it go slower and then have 'sessions' where we're all available for very quick responses for a few hours
That's not bad idea but it would be difficult due to different timezones.. XD

yeah we're quite spaced out aren't we :/

Got it. Will do that then.
