Rylia nods at the half-orc. "My sincere apologies," she says. "I should have realized from the start that you were not a simple attendant. I am truly greatful for your help. I'll take your advice and find someone to take me." She gives him a sort of quick bow. Just as she's about to go she adds, "I'm Rylia by the way. Rylia Lionrage. It was very nice to meet you sir. Perhaps we'll run into each other again sometime." She gives him a wink and a smile then turns and heads away, mentally directing her cloak to flutter behind her as though there were a light breeze. Mentally she sends him a message as she walks, 'I'm a musician. You should come hear me play sometime.'
Making her way back to the others she tells them, "The kind House Deneith half-orc said to walk to The Upper Cogs we should go to Black Arch. But that'd take 1 to 2 hours. He really seemed to suggest hiring a skycoach to takes where we want to go directly." She glances back at him, "Though he might have said that because he thought I was a youg girl out of my depth in this ward. But 1 to 2 hours does seem like a long walk."
"Someone want to chat with the House Orien kiosk about a skycoach?"
Brother Coltinar comments, "I wonder if those two sky coaches over there are available for hire? Let's go find out if they can take us to the upper cogs."
"I think these are our options here. To the right, you spot an information kiosk for the Lightning Rail. On the opposite side, a bit farther down, there's another kiosk of House Orien selling tickets for skycoaches."
Brother Coltinar starts moving towards the Kiosk for House Orien to see about tickets for skycoaches. "Let's see what a skycoach will cost us to get to the Ashblack district in the upper cogs. I think that's were the forge was supposed to be at right?"

Rylia nods to Brother Colitnar. "That's my recollection - Ashblack." She then adds, "Lightning Rail would take us out of Sharn, so skycoach is what we want at the moment, I think."
Coltinar walks over to the kiosk of House Orien. As he approaches, he is met by a young human woman who stands behind the counter, her face adorned with a warm smile. //---DM I will assume that everybody is more or less close to him. Let me know if don´t---//
"Good day," she greets him with a friendly tone, her eyes focusing on Coltinar as if genuinely interested in helping. "How can I assist you today? Looking for a swift trip to your destination?"
Listening to the destination, the young woman's fingers dance gracefully across the surface of her kiosk, "Sure, just a moment, please! I will contact our pilots." While her eyes scan through a digital interface to find the available options, she taps a few buttons, attempting to contact the pilots and receive some response.
After a few moments, she looks up with a slightly apologetic expression. "I'm sorry for the wait. It seems we're experiencing a bit of a shortage of available drivers at the moment for trips to the Cogs. It's a busy time of day, and it appears they're all occupied."
If questioned about some estimation of when a driver might become available, she will politely answer: "I'm afraid I can't give you an exact time frame right now. It could be a little while before one becomes available. I'm sorry."

(Bryn maintains his half-elf appearance. As he hasn't told the rest of the group that he's a changeling, he's keeping the same look. But, if we're getting stonewalled, he will find a place to "change" and pick a face he thinks will garner better results. Like Elaydren's "right-hand man" Skyryn Makker =) If that's the approach, it will go something like this:
Bryn remembers that many drivers don't want to go down to the Cogs, and wonders if some 'influence' would aid their progress... He quietly slips away from the group and finds a small corner to hide in, then transforms his face, shape, and voice to Skyryn Makker. He pulls a hooded cloak out of his backpack and throws it over his clothes, pulling the hood up. He then strides purposefully towards the kiosk and his group of friends, confidant and with authority. He steps up next to Brother Coltinar, pulls the hood back slightly from his face, and speaks to the attendant.
"Miss, I am Skyryn Makker, a member of House Cannith and Elaydren d’Vown 's right-hand man. My group here is on an important trip to visit our Forgehold, but we are travelling incognito. So, if you would, please contact one of your most trusted drivers and have them come immediately. House Cannith will ensure you are well compensated for your discretion and haste."

As Coltinar talks to the kiosk attendant, Bryn's attention is caught by a discreet approach from a young human. The man exudes an adventurous aura, his attire a combination of rugged charm. Cargo pants and a white shirt are concealed beneath a worn but well-maintained leather jacket that adds a touch to his appearance. His jet-black hair is tied up in a high ponytail.
Subtly swaggering, he steps up to Bryn, his voice carrying a distinct accent as he leans in slightly, "Scusi, sirr. I couldn't-a let overhear-a that you´re-a looking for trransportation. I can help you to ahead-a to da Upper Cogs. I can-a offer-e you a trip therre at-a a rreasonable prrice. You-a seems like-a folks who-a appreciate a good-a deal."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Insight: 21 Bryn listens to the man and his offer, trying to get a feeling if the driver was honest. If he gets the feeling that this foreign man can be trusted, he nods and motions the man closer. "And what rate are you offering us, friend? We are not some rich, plump group of green 'richies' with more gold than sense. We do, indeed, value a good man who works hard and is not trying to cheat others to get ahead. Are you such an honest man?"
"Ah, yes, my-a friend," the pilot responds with a warm smile. "I assure-a you, I'm-a very honest-a man. Just-a a hardworking fella tryin' to make-a ends meet for-a my family."
He continues, his accent lending charm to his words. "Normally, I charge-a 'bout 10 gold pieces-a per person, you-a know? But I see you´re-a big group-a that have a piu bella ragazza, so, I can do-a a special deal. How-a 'bout 5 gold pieces-a per person? Half-a the usual price. That's 30 gold pieces total-a to take-a you nice folks to Ashblack comfortably."
The guy appears to be around the same age as Bryn and the rogue feels sincerity in his voice.
As Rylia notices Bryn talking to the young man, she steps over to them as well. "I suppose that does sound like a good deal," she says to Bryn. She then looks at the pilot, returning his warm smile. "You don't work for House Orien? I thought they ran all the skycoaches."
Mentally she speaks to Bryn. 'Does he seem to be trustworthy to you?'
Bryn continues his conversation with the driver, making a rather lengthy and weirdly rambling statement about family ties and looking good in the eyes of his father (even though you all know that Bryn doesn't know where his father is, or even if he's alive). He speaks a few strangely out-of-place phrases that are not quite his usual way of talking. But he concludes with an agreement with the driver's price, with an added request that the driver wait for a bit outside their destination to return them back to this area. (Bryn is using Thieves' Cant to see if the driver knows it, and he's embedded a hidden meaning in it to tell the driver that he shouldn't try to take advantage of the group...)
The young person appears slightly perplexed by Bryn's disconnected recent conversation. "We offer fresh water and some snacks for the journey," he says, scanning the group and attempting to make eye contact with anybody else. "By the way, my name is Leo."
"Thanks, Leo. Give us a moment to discuss as a group, yes?" Bryn smiles, and turns back to the group, saying quietly, "Unless anyone disagrees, I say we take young Leo up on his offer and take his carriage to the Forge."
