Rylia narrows her eyes at Arber, clearly dissatisfied with his response. "You said examine it for a minute," she says, her finger pointing at the man. "And examine does not mean pour a liquid on it to engulf it in flames! You did not tell me that!" Just as quickly though the fire in her voice dies down and she speaks a bit more gently. "I do appreciate you improving on it though."

"I'm sorry," Arber apologizes to Rylia. "Those who know me are aware of my love for magic and how much I enjoy playing with it. I forgot that you don´t know me yet... Your cloak remains the same, only slightly reinforced." He concludes with a wink.
Afterwards, the master turns to the group and suggests: "So... Would you all like to head to the canteen for a meal while I take Arr to the armorers?" With a glance at Paladin, he said, "If there's anything particular you would like to mention, Paladin, please do."
He signs for Ada to call Adam. Once Adam arrives, the remarkable resemblance between them is astonishing. If they were flesh and blood creatures, one could easily have mistaken them for identical siblings.
Brother Coltinar, "Ah..Perhaps some food and refreshments would be nice. Let's head over to the canteen then."
Brother Coltinar moves with the group to the canteen. He takes in the wonder of the place as he moves through the area. Amazed at the similarities of Ada and Adam.
To the others, Bryn, Braxial, Rylia and Paladin if they're all together, "Don't forget that there are potions in the bag for anyone. If you want them on your person let me know and I'll get it for you."

Still calming down, Rylia fixed with her cloak as they all head to get refreshments. "It really was generous of him to make my cloak protective," she says to Bryn, walking alongside him. "I was really worried there for a moment!" she laughs, clearly trying to make light of her own reaction.
"I mean it's not like it was my new scarf." Rylia gives Bryn a slight sideways glance and a grin as she adjusts the green scarf - which matches the color of her eyes. "Imagine if he'd destroyed this." She punctuates the comment, by flipping one end of the scarf at Bryn and giving him a playful wink.
"You think we're just going to set off from here to those Dorasharn Ruins?" she asks. "Feels like suddenly we might be on our way. Seems quick. But on the other hand, with everything we went through just to get here, I'd hate to leave and come all the way back."
She seems perfectly willing to just chat away with Bryn as she walks. Though she does glance about now and then to keep tabs of where the group is going.
Rylia pauses a moment in her chat with Bryn. "Why thank you Brother Coltinar," she says. "I'm glad you understand!" She then poses the same question to him she'd just wondered about. "Do you think we'll be headed for Dorasharn Ruins right away? Feels like the time to set off has rapidly arrived."
(Sorry - long and rough meeting last night - went straight from work and didn't get home until 2230. Went right to bed, knowing I probably wouldn't sleep all that well and that 0500 would come fast today =/)
Bryn laughs at Rylia's teasing flip of her scarf. "I'm sure you would feel worse about losing your magical cloak than a simple scarf..." he jokes, trying to flip one end of the scarf in her face as they walk. "But the new cloak really is an awesome thing, and it fits you and your personality. I can't wait to see how you incorporate it into your performance! As long as it doesn't take the place of your favorite sidekick." Bryn's green eyes flash in amusement at their banter.
"As far as heading to the Ruins, I think we might take a short rest here and evaluate how everyone is doing. If we are ready to press on, then we should keep going, but if our injured friends need a longer rest, this seems the best and safest place."
The group left the room following Arber, Adam, and Ada who followed the corridor to the opposite side of where they were, reaching a door that opened onto a staircase that circled a large stone pillar. The coolness of the blue room was left behind and the heat increased with each step. You descended two levels, and when you finally reached the last flight of stairs, you stepped out through a tall double door and were greeted by an impressive sight.
Now you are in a wide circular corridor, surrounded by a series of other corridors, doors and stairs leading to various places. The area of the corridor where you exited was so wide that it looked more like a lounge. There was a large gap that gave a direct view of the forge on the lower levels. Heat was emanating from this room, and burning flames from various points were illuminating the surroundings, making everything glow in shades of orange and red. It was impossible to tell exactly how many levels were down. Four, five... maybe more. It looked more like a perfectly functioning small town.
There was a lot of movement, skilled workers coming and going, carrying metal bars, shaping pieces and performing arcane enchantment rituals. There was nothing to suggest that this was a weekend day. There was a great deal of magic going on here, and glowing runes adorned the walls and floor. Small wagons hovered between the levels.
The workers, most of them humans and warforgers, seemed dedicated and precise in their craft. There was a remarkable synchronicity to their movements. Some oversaw huge cauldrons of molten metal, while others hammered with an almost artistic rhythm. Great arcane machines shaping metal. Figures that looked like mages or craftsmen circled about, overseeing the forging process and the application of enchantments.
The group split into this wide, circular corridor. Ada, Arr and Master Arber headed east, while Adam led the rest of the group to the west wing, towards the canteen. Each side offered a unique view of the workings of the forge and the complexity that sustained House Cannith.
Those led by Adam made their way down the corridor to the west and soon reached a modest space. The setting was simple and functional, characterised by earthy tones and soft lighting. There were some pictures simulating windows to the outside world as you are on an underground level.
The place is quite busy, mostly with people who seems absorbed in their meals and conversations. In one corner, at a table, three warforged are engaged in a lively discussion about various types of metal and its use.
The food is arranged in a self-service area, with a large counter offering a variety of options. The tempting aroma hangs in the air and the colourful dishes look very appetising. The food is simple, but carefully prepared. Behind this counter, a halfling is talking intensely and seems to be in charge of the kitchen. Adam explains that she is a servant of House Gallanda.
As the group approached the food counter, they noticed a warforged and a human moving about the room, serving refreshing drinks in chilled glasses.
Bryn eagerly takes some food and a cold beverage when offered, and complements the halfling chef if given the chance. Their breakfast seemed like a lifetime ago, and he was suddenly famished. Looking around, he spies an open table for the group and moves to save the seats for his friends.
Arber, accompanied by Ada, lead Arr into a large room where a group of twelve armorers are gathered, working skillfully on several pieces of equipment and armor. At the head of the group os a distinctive-looking female warforged, the only one among the group of humans. She greet Arber with a respectful nod.
Arber presents Arr's shoulder problem to the chief armorer, who promptly exam it with a keen eye. He carefully assess the damage and the existing shoulder plate. After a thorough inspection, the armorer turned to Arber and began to explain the situation.
"This is a difficult repair,"she begin. "The existing shoulder plate cannot be salvaged as it is a unique design and size. Replacing it alone could result in an uneven appearance. However, I have an alternative suggestion. We could replace not only the shoulder plate, but also the upper part of the armor. That way, everything will match perfectly. And we took the opportunity to remove those plates with some patches."
And how long will that take?Arber asks. Maybe a little faster than an improvised repair. And it will not be painful.
Arber turned to Arr and asked, "Well, that sounds good to me. But it's up to Arr to decide." "What do you think, Arr?"

I'd guess we might likely stay here for an evening rest and start fresh in the morning. I'm just guessing though. I'd rather get a fresh start than try and go midday."
Brother Coltinar links with Rylia, "I'm a little worried about Braxiel. His tattoo was different and I'm concerned about what it's doing to him. I may be over worrying about it too though. Help me keep an eye on him if you don't mind."

Arr have been following silently, observing in awe the technological marvel and incredible craftsmanship everywhere around. They even feel a kinship to these workers, intuitively being able to guess which type of work they are doing. Finally at their destination, Arr are pulled back from their thoughts. They trust Master Arber, he’ll know best what they should do to get them in the best possible shape but changing their plates? They wouldn’t suggest to a human to change their nose or ears, would they? There are part of them, and these armorers want to change part of what makes them themselves. Or is it really just armor, unlike skin. But these plates are our skin. Arr is drawn between different point of views and they have a hard time deciding if they really want that repair. Ultimately, after an embarrassingly long break before their response, Arr opt for a clarifying question. “What will this change for us? We mean how necessary is this repair or which benefits would it bring? You see we’re quite attached to our plates and the more you need to replace the more intrusive it feels to us. If there is no, or just a small benefit, other than newer optics, we would prefer to remain one single piece.”
(I guess I’m asking if there is any game mechanical effect for changing Arr’s plates.)
Rylia replies back to Coltinar mentally.'Of course! His didn't fade?" she asks, basically admitting she hadn't been paying much attention. 'Braxiel seems quiet, but I can certainly keep an eye on him. Sure.'
"You don't seem very comfortable with the idea, My name is Dara, by the way! Pleasure to meet you" The armorer comments, her voice calm and firm, her metallic features expressing concern.
Arber enters the conversation: "Not solving this problem could have unpredictable consequences. It could lead to a malfunction at a critical moment, for example during a battle. However, I understand your fear of losing your identity."
Dara nods in understanding. "Perhaps I have an interim solution in mind. Give me a few minutes to check my stored materials. I may have something that could work."
Arber agrees to Dara's suggestion and takes the opportunity to lead Arr through a door at the back of the armory, saying, "Come, Arr. Let´s wait here. I would like to talk to you... in private."
The past of Arr
In the isolated room, Arber begins the conversation cautiously. He begins by confirming the memories that Arr has from the past. After Arr's confirmation, Arber continues: "It is noble that you wish to preserve the essence of your identity, Arr. It is make completely sense" He looks to the floor while smiles. "However, there are some additional information that you are not aware of, and that I must share with you so that you know who you really are."
"You are unique among the warforged, a one-of-a-kind creation of Merrix D'Cannith and Lia D'Jorasco.
Arber explains that Merrix D'Cannith and Lia de Jorasco were lovers. Both their relationship and their projects together were closely guarded secrets of their families. Apart from the two of them, only Arber, an artificer from House Jorasco and an ally of Lia's whom Arber never met, knew what they were developing. When Lia appeared, she gave new meaning to Merrix's dream. She was a great necromancer who dedicated her last days to helping him on that. Lia was said to manipulate life through time portals, but she died before this could be proven. Her supernatural powers and great ability to manipulate the essence of life added vital energy to Merrix's arcane magic. And that's how they developed such a special batch of warforges.
"There were others similar to you, but none exactly like you." Arber pointed out spoking that Arr had reacted to Lia's magic in a surprising, positive and unique way.
"You have a human heart, Arr," Arber reveals. "Not metaphorically speaking. I mean, you have a real and special heart, intricately woven around a rare dragonshard stone from Syberys, inside your chest!"
After a long pause the artificer explains that this special composition gives Arr some special natural qualities. Basically, different ways of dealing with emotions and feelings, but there may be other unknown effects as well. It gave the strengths of the warforged and nature, but also introduced certain vulnerabilities. "Arr', your body has a high concentration of arcane energy, but the fluids that flow through it are a mixture of vital energy and, the Cannith´s and the Jorasco´s blood."
"They may have reached the perfection they wanted, but the Cyre incident killed them first. They and everything they were developing. Everything was destroyed. All other Warforged of their kind were killed."He sighed. "You were the only one to somehow survive. I've been puzzled as to how that could have happened ever since I first saw you. My theory is that perhaps you were rescued by Lia's ally in one of her time portals, it's the only thing that seems logical to me, although logic doesn't have much place in all of this. The fact, the happy fact, is that you survived, that you're here.
"But you weren't quite ready when the Cyre incident happened. That's why I'm so worried. I'm afraid that you might have some unexpected malfunction. I'd like to protect you completely. But I can't, you're a citizen of Sharn now, master of your own life and your destiny. And I'm happy about that. So all I can do is offer you what I can to make you a bit safer. I'm sure Dara can find a way to fix your shoulder without changing your entire upper armor. She's the head of the armorers and the most skilled among them. But I would like at least to offer you a protective disk to connect over your chest to protect your heart and your dragonshard, if you don´t mind..."
As the group settled around the table Bryn had found in the canteen,
Braxiel couldn't shake the feeling of scrutiny from Coltinar and Rylia. He tries to hide the peculiar tattoo on his neck by letting his hair fall over it, hoping it would shield it from their inquisitive gazes. However, he wasn't aware of was that the tattoo had spread further since he last checked. It now branched out to the top of his left hand, the intricate lines and symbols becoming visible and shine to everyone at the table as he reached for his food.
Rylia, clearly not much for quiet observation, calls out to Braxiel as he reaches for some food. "Wow! Look at that on your hand! I think it's glowing. And are those symbols there?" She shifts over, her hand brushing against his shoulder. "Do you think I could take a look? It's really interesting."
Presuming he allows it; she would study it to see if she recognized anything. (Arcana: 7, rolled a 1)
"But... I actually asked" The master says to Rylia with a slight smile
