Actually, The rope reaches 20ft into the hole. You need another 30ft to reach the bottom. At this point, It has started rain properly and Another tree is struck by lightning. You all get wet, water drips down your hair. The horses get spooked by the lightning. Gabby says, "Quick! Someone calm them down!" Animal Handling: 23 Gabby tries to help but the horses kick her in the gut and she falls down clutching her stomach. 9 Damage

Gabby coughs up blood and goes unconscious. Death Save: 14

 Before he attempts to calm the spooked horses, Gymgiel is going to cast Cure Wounds on Gabby for 13. After he props her up "Are yeh alright, lass? Yeh took quite a hit."

Meanwhile, Folki has tried to get to the ground as quickly as he can (any checks needed?) and once on the ground he will wrap his wings around himself and crouch low to the ground, his large talons gripping deep into the earth and roots beneath him. With his wings caccooning him he looks like a small feathery mound between the trees.

Gabby stands up with a stomachache. "Yeah... Sorry. I just... Tried to help."

DM: Unfortunately, by the time you heal Gabby the horses will take off unless calmed. It might be better to calm them first and then heal Gabby.

“We can try to go down but I am afraid that, if it rains too much we’ll be in more trouble. Help me go down “ says Val giving his friends his rope “ and I’ll check if it is safe “

( Ouch once again since I read till I can post a lot of things happened!! XD Val’s rope is 50 ft so I assume that we can tie both ropes together. ) 

Seeing the horses are going to spook Val moves in trying to calm them down.

6 for animal handling ( lame roll ) but it’s too late for he was almost descending to the cave. 

He will wishper a prayer to the Mother Earth to sustain Gabby’s life ( cast Healing word wich is a bonus action so hopefully he can do it in the same turn that he tries to reach and calm the horses, for 6 HP for Gabby)

Val tries to calm the horse but he also gets kicked. 10

Val, Gym already healed Gabby so you don't need to cast the spell. You can't do it regardless because...

Val is launched backwards by the forceful kick. He hits his head on a rock and goes unconscious. Death Save: 10

DM: How are you guys getting your asses kicked by a horse?

Elsara rushes over. "Woah, woah. Easy girl..." She attempts to get the horse's attention to try and get it to calm down, hoping she isn't going to get trampled.

The horses had had enough. They break free from the wagon and rush off. The also kick Elsara with the back hooves while they escape. 6 Elsara's body shakes as the hooves connect with her side. She bends down and pukes blood but she still stands.

DM: It was DC10.

"Hold on, Val, I got yeh." Gym will do his best to pull Val safely away from the horses before casting Cure Wounds on him for 8.

"No! Come back!" Elsara calls, seeing the horse bolt away. She staggers to her feet, looking as if she wants to give chase after it.

(Sometimes the dice don't want to play nice...)

( Because the horses are getting automatic hits against us XD and we are rolling so low we can’t beat just a 10 XD

I am confused now. Did Val healed Gabby and Gym healed Val? Or Gym healed both of us? Those horses are the strongest breed... XD )

The rain starts pouring heavily and you're all standing getting around getting wet. You see another lightning bolt strike something on top of a mountain.

“Leave them...” says Val coughing and spitting some blood “ We can track them later... Thanks friend “ he says to Gym. “ Let me help you with those wounds Elsara “ 

Val cast Cure Wounds on Elsara for 9. HP

"Hopefully they don't go too far and we can find them in the mornin'. For now, lets finish the rope and get to shelter."

"But she might get hurt alone out there." Elsara says, her wounds being fixed by Val's magic. She takes a moment to try and calm down a bit. "Okay... Let's get these ropes tied so we can head down carefully. I'm pretty light, so should I go first?"

(If someone falls, Elsara has Feather Fall prepared, so can use it as a reaction)

Everyone who wants to climb down, roll athletics. Gabby is a bit shaken from almost dying so she will go last. Athletics:18
