"I'm afraid we do not. However, both me and my assistant like to read too. I'm convinced that bird woman has a hoard of books stashed around here somewhere. Maybe you can try and find it and if you do, be sure to tell me where they are. Alternatively you could pester her until she loans you some of her books. You'd have much better luck than I would."
Skriiod leaves the Guild masters room and heads to his lodgings for the forseeable future. When he gets there, he will say his thanks to Bahamut for getting him here safely, before getting out of his armour and into some comfortable clothes, a shirt and some bottoms..

Elsara, when you mean investigate the guildhall do you mean the main room? If so, then how are you investigating it? Also, you do not find anything in the PC lodgings. However, of the many doors that are accessible via the platform, you notice that most of them are unmarked. Two of them are marked. One is labelled, "Catherine Darkwing" while the other is "Ian Goldsun"
After meeting with the guild master, and graciously accepting his place into the guild membership, Gymgier will put his belongings into whatever room is assigned to him, change into more comfortable clothes, take his prayer book to the main hall and start to read it while drinking a nice cup of hot tea.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elsara is mostly looking around with an inquisitive look at the room to see what is in them. Perhaps see if there are any books lying around. Once she's done casing the main hall, she'll go find a room to unpack.
In the main hall she doesn't notice anything other than what's already in plain sight. Two doors on the back wall with one of them leading to the back room which has darts and cards and other things to play.
After collecting enough chunks of wood, Folki returns to the oak in the town square. He flies back up to the larger branches and sits there, carving the likeness of his new colleagues.
"It's been a long time since I had people around to carve rather than just animals" he thinks to himself
Elsara will finish putting her belongings away, then check where all the facilities are (kitchen, washroom, toilets, etc.). After that, she'll spend a bit of time doing some blade drills with her shortsword. If people watch her, she is not bad for a booksmart nerd, but not really on par with a warrior yet.
Elsara, looking around the facilities, you notice a door next to the bar which leads to the kitchen. The 2nd back door leads to a smaller room that has two doors in it. Both doors have metal plates on next to them. One has the outline of a man and the other has the outline of a woman. The door with the woman's outline next to it leads to a small bath house. on the other end is a trapdoor with a ladder attached to it. Going further down it, you see there are toilets over there.
All of you do your downtime activities.
Time passes. It is now 2:00 PM
(If there is nothing else you want to do, I will skip to the next day)
Later that evening, Folki goes to the doors of everyone in the guild, including Catherine and the Guild Master. He knocks but is gone before they open them. Instead each person opens the door to find, placed on the floor, a small four inch tall carving of themselves.
He then goes up to the roof where he sits leaning against the parapet with his wings folded over his head, creating a small tent like cover over him, and goes to sleep.
Valwarin enters the room in last place and keeps himself quiet and not drawing too much attention to him, happy to see that the others take the weight of the conversation.
Skriiod will have rested in his room, only getting food and something to drink, the next morning he will be awake and dressed in his armour, ready for his first true day as a member of the guild.

You see the message board in the main hall which was empty the previous day now contains the following notes: (Spoilered to make it shorter)
Note 1:
“For a few month’s now, my sheep have gone missing. Every night one vanishes and in its place, there’s a pool of blood and wool left. I’ve seen large foot prints that seem to be a wolves but not the right shape. I’ve tried setting traps but they all failed. Please send someone to investigate.”
Note 2:
“I need someone to escort my apprentice. I need herbs collected for my research. However, the place where they grow are a bit far from my house and I think it is unsafe for my apprentice to go there alone. Please send someone to escort her.”
Note 3:
“Help! Goblins ransacked my home while I was away and kidnapped my daughter. I live in [REDACTED]. They couldn’t have gone far. They must be hiding somewhere in [REDACTED] forest near town.”
Note 4:
Please talk to Catherine Darkwing to take a quest and learn more about it.
Elsara will continue her sword drills until later that evening. She will get some food before resting up in her room, reading through her spellbook. On her way up to her room, she'll see the figurine of her. "Aww, it's adorable." She'll state, putting it on her bedside table before getting some rest.
Elsara will be getting up early (thanks to her trance) and spend a bit of time stretching and attempting blade flourishes. After a short while, she'll note the messages on the noticeboard. Elsara goes wide-eyed with delight. She dashes back up the stairs and shouts through the corridor. "Hey, everyone! Wakey, wakey! There's some quests on the noticeboard!" She tells them through their doors with glee as she skips up and down the corridor before making her way back to the main hall, waiting for everyone else to get up.
"I'm afraid we do not. However, both me and my assistant like to read too. I'm convinced that bird woman has a hoard of books stashed around here somewhere. "I'll see what I can do, Mr. Sweetcane!" Elsara grins before skipping off to go investigate the guildhall and the lodgings.
I hope there is some quests on their way. Elsara thinks to herself. I don't really have any money to pay for anything.

Gendan will seek out the farthest room to make as her quarters here at the guild.
"I really hope I get a chance to work on my fighting skills. That is the reason I came to Sydil." She thinks to herself.
She sits upon her bed and pulls out her longsword to sharpen the edge.

Investigation: 5
In the main hall she doesn't notice anything other than what's already in plain sight. Two doors on the back wall with one of them leading to the back room which has darts and cards and other things to play.
After putting his things away at the top of the tower, Folki wanders out into the town and surrounding areas in search of wood for his carvings.
Investigation: 9 (incase needed)
Folki, you see a bunch of trees scattered across the town. You can easily gain the wood from some of their higher branches.
After collecting enough chunks of wood, Folki returns to the oak in the town square. He flies back up to the larger branches and sits there, carving the likeness of his new colleagues.
"It's been a long time since I had people around to carve rather than just animals" he thinks to himself

Skriiod would have taken the wood carving and placed it on his bedside table.
He comes out when Elsara shouts, he will head to the notice board and start looking through the notes.
