Folki stands just outside the doorway, close enough to hear everyone inside but not actually inside the house. As they wait he starts to check over his bags. While rummaging he finds something and pauses.
"Dammit...... meant to give it to her...... when we get back.."
(I've been assuming that he's been doing this all the time while camping etc and so won't mention it unless it's out of place or important, eg bit wierd for him to do it in the middle of the day like here)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elsara looks at the angel statue. It reminders her of the tiny statuette she was given on her first day in The Guild. "Aww, these are pretty."She comments.
(Just in case there's any relevance, I guess a History check: 6 ... Curse you dice!!!)
(You never know. It could've been a specific icon)
Elsara probably looks over it for a minute or two while the kettle is heating up. She likes pretty things, and it looks like the nicest craftsmanship she's seen since the statue in her likeness.
The statue is exceptionally well crafted. In fact, it is one of the most beautiful clay statues Elsara has ever seen. The angel is smiling but it is a smile filled with melancholy.
Mrs. Kantberry gets tea for everyone The tea tastes average. As she sips her tea she says, "So... It all started about a month 1 ago. I woke up one day to find a sheep missing. There was a pool of blood and wool in it's place. I checked the area and found footprints, similar to a wolves but... They were a bit different. It was the size of human foot prints and the shape was slimmer than what you'd expect from wolves. I set traps but... All the traps were disarmed the next day. I camped out in the back for a few weeks. Nothing. Fell asleep once and I woke up to see another sheep missing." She seems to get very distressed and sad. She says, "So... I need professionals like you to camp outside for the night and catch the thing in the act. Kill it, capture it, I don't really give a darn. I will pay you 90 gp (15 GP each) up front and 210 (35GP each) once the work is done. What do you say, eh?"
"I don't suppose it happened on a full moon night, did it?"Elsara asks, looking away from the statue as they tea is brought through. "I've heard about lycanthropes from a book I read. They usually need magic or a silver weapon to defeat them. But they wouldn't normally stop at one sheep, unless it was maybe a conserving werewolf wanting a constant food stock."
The woman shakes her head. "I'm afraid not. The moon doesn't seem to effect the attacks in any way shape or form. It's attacked on full moon nights, moonless nights and anything in between, it did."
“So you say you’ve tried standing watch for these invaders, but they only come when no one’s watching. What makes you think they will come when we are staked out?”
The woman goes quiet. She takes a few deep breathes as if to prepare herself for some painful but inevitable experience. She says somberly, "I know because... It showed up once. My son, 20 years old at the time, decided to stake out at the night after my attempts ended in failure. The next morning, no new sheep went missing. Instead... I found his mangled corpse in a pool of blood." Jay looks down silently. She takes in a loud and deep breath, successfully holding off tears. She looks up and with a painfully forced smile, she says, "So... will you do it?"

*Double checks my own post* Yep! Typo. Angel not Angle.
( could still be a cute angel :P )
(Well waiting to see if any of you guys will say or do anything or just quietly wait for tea. It will take 10 minutes.)

Question: How long does Elsara look at the statue. (And the history check was useless. It wouldn't have revealed anything good even on a 20)

Skriiod will just sit and wait for tea.

Elsara thinks about what could be a beast that could fit this description (for IC knowledge)
Nature: 23
(It's obviously the big bad wolf, but after it's eaten the three little pigs!)
Elsara tries going through possible suspects. The most likely culprit would be a werewolf but even then there seems to be inconsistencies.
"I don't suppose it happened on a full moon night, did it?" Elsara asks, looking away from the statue as they tea is brought through. "I've heard about lycanthropes from a book I read. Jay does a quick head count and notices Folki sitting outside. "Hey, aren't you gonna come in for tea?"

"No I'm ok ....... prefer to be outside ........ not a fan of roofs"
