A strong wind blows (not storm levels though). It carries magical pollen into Folki's eyes and up his nose just as he is about to look around. Folki's eyes start to water as he has a sneezing fit. Once he sneezes non stop for 1 minute and he rubs his eyes. The experience makes his eyes feel a bit tired so he closes his eyes for a few minutes. Before he realizes it, he is now day-dreaming with his eyes closed (Not sleeping. He still has benefits of being awake. Birdman Trance?). Needless to say, he doesn't see anything besides <Insert subject/description of daydream here>.
(I spent 15 minutes thinking about this and THIS is what I came up with? smh)
The daydream starts with Folki in a peaceful woods, not unlike where they are now, resting up in a tree. After a while he hears bleeting coming from somewhere in the distance. He goes to check it out and eventually finds himself infront of several HUGE sheep, blood dripping from their mouths. They chase him through the woods, which are getting denser and closer; the canopy and space between the trees preventing him from flying. He finds him self in a large clearing with a house in the middle. He runs into the house to get a way from the sheep, slamming the door behind him. He sits there against the door for a few moments. He suddenly sees something move in the darkness of the house (which is much much bigger than it looked from the outside, or is he smaller......?). *CLUCK* No..... please no....... *CLUCK CLUCK* NO! Not this! Slowly a huge chicken rises out of the shadows, towering over Folki; it is at least five times his height. Sharp teeth stand jagged along it's beak, it's gigantic talons gauging the wooden floor. It's eyes burn red as it stares down at him unblinking. Then suddenly it moves towards him, it's great beak open as it pecks down at Folki.......
".... NO! .........Chicken!" Folki bursts out of his daydream, panting and startled. It takes him a few moments to realise where he is . His eyes and head still darting around he takes a step back from the doorway and sits down, his two hand axes now out of his belt and held tight on his lap.
Jay nods and takes you out to the place where all the sheep were kept. "It... Happened here."
Scale is 5ft. The dotted line is the 5ft tall fence. The large circles are trees. The small circles are pillars. The other dotted line (Between 21 and 22 and then takes a south turn) is the 1ft tall platform in front of the house's front door (F 24-25). It has a smaller roof. The large gate in the fence (12 and 13) leads to the "sheep place". This is where the sheep get killed and also where the woman's son died.
(Well... I doubt you guys came all the way here to not accept the quest so... I'm just going to assume you all agree with Gendan here)
Jay says, "Really? Thank you. Wait here." She leaves the party in the sheep area and goes back inside. She comes back with a coin pouch. She hands each of you 15 gp. (totaling 90 gp among all 6 of you)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elsara will give the kind lady a hug, attempting to be comforting. "We'll find whoever did this." She tells Jay. Whomever did this is clearly a baddie. There's no reason to kill a boy like that. She thinks to herself before headed over to look around the area for clues.
Folki is still very tense and a bit out of it. He hardly registers when Jay hands her the money, his other hand still grasping tightly onto his handaxe. He doesn't say anything and will follow closely to the group, not wanting to be at all isolated in the woods.
The woman shakes her head and says, "Sorry, can't help ya. The attacks usually happen every night but it does take breaks from time to time. The time between breaks are also random. One time it attacked me for 2 nights and then disappeared for 12 more nights. I thought I'd rid of the thing but it came back and killed my sheep for 5 nights after that. No patter here that I can discern."
(retrospective RP - This happened before Gendan asked her question)
Jay hands Folki a cup of tea to drink.
Folki puts down his part done carving and accepts the cup with a small smile and nod
While he's outside he will be looking all over the place, not for anything per say but just all over.
Anything obviously off? perception : 0 ( >D I was so hoping for that roll! )

Elsara grimaces at the mention of the mangled corpse, then looks to the others. "Should we... check out that first?" She asks with a hint of caution.
"The... Body?" Jay asks in confusion. "It happened 20 days ago. I... buried him"
Elsara shakes her head. "No, I meant the area where it happened... I'm sorry about your son." She says with a slight melancholic tone.
"Lets go and search the area where the body was found."

Elsara finds nothing, unfortunately.
“I am sorry for your loss” says Val to Jay. “We should check this night if the creature appears. Excuse me... how many nights between the attacks?”
PbP Character: A few ;)
(Folki is currently frightened. of chickens.)

Elsara looks to the others. "I could set up some alarms when it starts getting late, like I do for camp." She offers.
