Alright, now I will describe the blow that reduced him to 0 HP.
Runt notices that the Tabaxi has recovered and has swung his mace at Runt's head. If she dodges this attack, she will lose her momentum and the Tabaxi will get a chance to put her down for good. Instead, Runt decides to have faith in what her god has planned for her and go for broke. With the speed of lightning, Runt re-positions her hammer into a better grip and rams it into the Tabaxi's belly. The shockwave released from the hammer thanks to Divine Fury ripples through the Tabaxi's body and tears his stomach open, causing the stomach acid and almost digested meal to spill on to floor with a lot of blood. The Tabaxi flies backwards and falls on the floor. Gendan might take a while to get up but the Tabaxi isn't getting up... ever.
Val, you don't have the chance to get down to the arena as a lot of the arena audience wants to get down there and stab Runt to death. Luckily, the commander's henchmen are doing more than a decent job at keeping the angry mob at bay.
(No chance to use healing word lvl1 on the tabaxi? just to save his life, and probably, Runt's? )
Valwarin stays on his position, seeing that he wouldn't be able to reach his friends. Still he is still amazed of the contradictions of the so-called civilization. Just a few seconds ago the crowd were screaming and asking to tabaxi to kill both warriors, now they ahd to be stopped by their leader not to kill Runt, who has done just the very same thing. No. It wasn't a contradiction, he corrects himslef, it was hypocresy, pure and simple. All the fighters knew what could happen, they all agreed in the terms. In the wild the hunter risks as much as the prey in their fight to death. If the deer wounds the wolf with its horns, and escape there is no retaliation from the pack. The mourn and go looking for another prey.
This time, however, he had learned better, and doesn't try to argue with anyone.
In fact, no I don't... If I do he will probably continue attacking Runt and Gendan until they are dead... that wasn't a fair or honorable fight... aaadn they will now that I was healing them so... I would be added to the pit... XD
Okay cool. Since most of the crowd is distracted while the ones who aren't seem pretty happy with Gendan and Runt's victory, you can instead cast Healing word to bring Gendan back up, thereby saving her potion for later use.
Gendan's critical wounds are healed and she gets up although about as beat up as Runt is.
The two warriors are ushered out of the arena by several guards and are brought to Commander Crusette's room. The commander says with a laugh, "Well well well, it seems you harlots are good for something other than pleasuring anyone who has coin to spend. I would be angry at you for killing off my champion but I made a small fortune from everyone betting on your deaths. You did... a passable job."
He hands each of you 1000 GP. Everyone (including Val and Elsara) get 700 XP (I will now add it to your character sheet).
Why am I not surprised. Unfortunately, (It's easy enough to get them from the body so I assume you have them right now) Commander says, "By the way, I know you took the Tabaxi's gauntlets. I want them back."
(Look on the bright side, you have enough gold to buy Plate armor if you haggle enough)
"I'm looking for someone. A halfling named Ripo Firearm. You know about him?"
DM: I didn't tell you this because I didn't think it would come up but Gendan would know this. Ripo Firearm is the halfling contact Gendan had in Silvermoon Fort. He's the guy who told you all that stuff about the fort and Jack Shadowarm.
(Hey, back from the long weekend now. Guess we'll just get some RP between Val and Elsara if that's alright)
As Val returns to Elsara's room, he finds her looking over her spellbook. She looks up from her bed as he enters. "Hi Val..." She sniffs as she closes the metallic tome and looks to her elven friend. "Is eberything okay?"

Runt, will you use a potion on Gendan?

PbP Character: A few ;)
Val, you can cast Healing word to save the brute's life but I want to ask you this:
Are you absolutely sure you want to do that? Like ABSOLUTELY sure?
In fact, no I don't... If I do he will probably continue attacking Runt and Gendan until they are dead... that wasn't a fair or honorable fight... aaadn they will now that I was healing them so... I would be added to the pit... XD

Then I'll do that.
First level only remain so... 7 Hp healed.

Runt scowls at the harlot comment. But let's it pass as she is passed a sizable amount of coin. It was a good fight.

Gendan would definitely have tried to grab the Tabaxi’s gauntlets before exiting the arena.

Val goes back with Elsara and tell her of the fight and his thoughts about it while they wait for the warriors to retutn.

The commander is thoroughly intimidated. You just scored yourself some Gauntlets of Ogre Strength.
Also, Gendan you noticed a shady looking Orc at the lunch table earlier today. Will not do anything about it?
At the next meal, Gendan will sit down near the shady orc. “You been at the fort long?

"Not quite. No" The orc seems to be more at home in cities than most.
Also, Gendan gets the benefit of short rest and the effects of Hill Giant Potion has worn off.
This is happening at night time and I assume all the other PCs are also at the dinner table.
Timeline (Day 2 of 5)
Gendan asks the orc, “What brings you here?”
Short rest hit dice. 9 7

(Yeah, sorry to have been dominating the discussion. I think a Val/Elsara conversation is in order.)
Gendan, tapping into her bounty hunting roots, says to the orc, “Information’s not free, my friend. What’s your business?”
