(assuming that folki is right next to the doorway due to just killing the guard)
After taking a moment to wrench his axe out of the whats left of the other goblin, the still enraged Folki turns to face the one in the next room. He chest and head are shining crimson, wings tensed above him. He lifts his axe to point at the goblin, blood dripping off the blade onto the floor in front of him.
“He is quite a philosopher, that’s for sure. Their kind doesn’t use to show such deep thoughts, even for finding excuses for their evil deeds” says Val to the othes genuily surprised.
(Just reminding that Good/Evil alignment are not prominent in this campaign, so calling things evil isn't as impactful as it would be normally)
Elsara's blade lowers slightly, but still is kept defensive. "We should take them back to the town to tell the villagers that they're sorry." Elsara suggests, wanting to try and keep this scenario peaceful. She seems somewhat perturbed by the sudden slaughter of the other goblin.
"Aye, he's got quite the way with words for such a wee one. Being sorry now won't stop something from happening in the future. Teach a man to fish, as they say."
Gym will move forward with Skiirod, but like him, won't move to the next room.

Still with his axe leveled at the goblin, Folki stands completely still. This is a completely different side of the aarakocra you have known for the past week. Before the small man was always moving, his eyes darting from sight to sight, and his voice quick and musical; he now stands in the doorway, his heavy built body tensed like a spring, with his eyes locked onto goblin, unblinking. When he spoke to the goblin you heard a voice that you have never heard before; a deep unnervingly emotionless growl, the voice of a hunter.
"They made their choice when they raided the village. . . . . no words can erase your deeds . . . . . what you do shows who you really are"
He leaps forward, his tensed body releasing it's stored energy in an explosion of movement. He comes at the goblin at chest height, his powerful legs pushing out to knock him to the ground and pin him there (DM: this ok?)
Strength:22 (+2 if atheletics)
If successful Folki will hold his axe to the goblins throat, his fellow guards blood still dripping off it, and start to interrogate

The wood elf enters the room behind the aarakocra that has the goblin pinned down now.
“You could have tried to trade with the villagers, you could have tried to forge better weapons and tools by yourselves. You don’t want the people to label you with prejuices? Do not act like those prejuices say you would and you do not confirm them. “ he raises his scimitar. “Now. How many of you live here?”
The goblin says, "Trade? You mean you would try to trade with a dangerous beast that would kill you on sight? A lot of your kind (civilized humanoids) attack us without even giving us a chance to talk. You tell us to do so many things yet you don't allow us to do said things. I will tell you nothing. I'm dead meat anyway." The goblin....
The goblin does something extremely unexpected which catches everyone including Folki off-guard. Instead of struggling to free himself from Folki's grasp, he presses down on the barbarian's axe blade with as much force it's small body can muster in his current restrained position and twists his head. This causes the axe blade to create a gash on the goblin's neck which kills him.

Taken a back by the goblins sudden suicide, Folkis rage fades. He steps back from the body, his axes hanging loosely at his side. It is clear that the goblins last act affected his view far more than all his words up til then.
Surprisingly, Elsara is able to open the door without help. In fact, it's easier to open than it looks. Inside is a large room (50x50 ft) There is a large 30ft wide platform on the wall opposite to where the entrance is (North) that goes 10ft inside the room while the other 10ft is an indent in the wall. It is as tall as the room itself. The room has a high ceiling (60ft). On the platform is a large stone statue whose head is just 5ft shy of the ceiling. At the center of the room is a fire pit (10ft diameter) that has ashes in it. There are 4 standing torches on either side of the door and in front of the two walls on either side of the statue. There is a door of wood and stone to the left (West) and another one to the right (East). The one on the right is 10ft wide while the one on the left is 5.
As there are no more hostile creatures in the room, you get a better look at the place.
The large stone statue is of a slender female half-orc in unique armor. She is holding an equally unique great sword with one hand and resting the blade on her shoulder. She seems to be laughing. There is a bronze plate near the base of the statue but whatever was written on it has faded with time. The fire pit contains ashes. It seems it was last used 3 to 4 hours ago. The east door leads to a hallway with stone walls. These walls are ugly in comparison to the previous rooms. They may have been decorated with something long ago but whatever it was has degraded over time. The west door is still closed.

The goblin is already frightened. He drops his scimitar. At least, he will on his turn.

Folki will assist Val with the persuasion/intimidation check (big bloody bird standing on you chest with an axe to your throat should help right?)

“Well your talk has made us sto... “ the sentence was cut in middle when the goblin suicides. “ what a waste..” says Val
