(Temp HP back to 8 due to reducing Zombie 3 to 0 HP)
Gendan casts Hex (Disadvantage on DEX checks) on Jerrick and swings with her Booming Blade and Vision of the Archfiend.
Attack15 for 11 magical slashing, 7 thunder, 1 necrotic. Take 15 thunder if target willingly moves before my next turn. If the attack hits, Vision of the Archfiend psychic damage: 2
EDIT: forgot to add Warlock level to Archfiend damage, so should be 6 instead of 2.
Gendan swings, however her sword seems to bounce off Jerrick's robes. It's a Cloak of Protection.
Jerrick Raises his amulet to give himself extra vitality but as if playing a cruel joke, The amulet gives him almost nothing. He looks panicked. "R-Robin, you told me I'd be untouchable. W-What's going on?"
Meanwhile the two puppets attempt to maul Deva again but now that he can move his body, he deflects both blows with his weapon.
The other flesh puppet jump on Val and bite him from behind.
(OOC: MY bad wrong thread. It took much longer than it should have. Sorry I feel stupid now)
Those rolls are higher than anything Jerrick can do. The first one anyway. Contesting for the 2nd roll: 20 (Should be 19. Wrote 3 instead of 2 by accident)
As Runt tears the amulet off, Jerrick lets out a blood-curdling scream. Before all of your eyes, the amulet drains Jerrick's soul and kill him. The permanent look of horror and confusion remains on Jerrick's lifeless face.
However, this is only the beginning. As Runt takes the amulet. She feels something. She feels powerful. She feels like she can take on the gods themselves and win. Everyone other than her is like an insect, existing only to be crushed under her heel. She is the strongest in the world and the world will know it. She has this overwhelming craving for world dominance and war. Anyone who opposes her feels like an enemy. She also feels like the amulet is the best thing in the world. Anyone who would try to take it is jealous of her and she believes that it is 100% beneficial and necessary to meet her goals of world dominance. The puppets stop. They are loyal slaves to the amulet's holder.
Gendan is not phased by Runt’s new demeanor, though it reminds her somewhat of her patron. She will see if the castle has anything worth keeping. She opens any and all closets, chests, etc.
skill checks if needed for anything that may be hidden in the remainder of the castle: perception 10 investigation 9
She guesses that the treasure is probably in a dungeon or something but she can't find the entrance. However, this is a royal castle and therefore there is at least some valuables out in the open.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wis Save(DC 17): 19.
(Above roll is more for deciding something Devarus will do than any affect.)
(Edit: About what I thought might happen...)
(I also still love my scattershot. Sad it failed, but honestly, it seems suiting seeing its being wielded by an old hand still get used to a a far more active job)
(Distracting and Goading's Superiority Die weren't expended, except on a successful hit, btw. Which.. sadly, he never was the case.)
Devarus had heard enough -- had seen enough. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breathe, centering his spirit after having stepped aside for Runt. He doesn't look up again as she passes by. While remaining mindful of the nearby puppet positions, he strides over to stand beside the throne, swaping from scattershot to longbow along the way, and timing his movements to catch her while she was at least no more than ten feet from the door. Gendan's... antics are brushed aside from thought The creak of wood and strain of string of a bow being drawn precedes his call of, "That's far enough, Miss Runt. I am gonna have to request you put the amulet down now, and step away." He pulls the string close to the point of an overdraw as he adds, expression forced into the same 'mask' he wore as a guard; all business and brokering little more than fleeting sympathy at best, "Peacefully... If you would. Val. Gendan." The names he tosses out towards the end in warning.
The moment she turns to face him, there is no hesitation except any Val or Gendan might cause. He fires for the amulet, uncertain if a mere 'arrow' would do any good in destroying or even scarring the thing. But declaring his intent if not stopped and/or anticipated and convinced to stand down before it.
Bonus Action: Centering Self(Second Wind) on self and regaining 6.
(He had it readied to give either Gendan and Val at least a chance to try and say something to give him pause. But so far, Val's interference hasn't been direct or words convincing enough alone to not stay primed for it. And the moment it looks or sounds as if she's not dropping the amulet, he's firing, if that all makes sense.)

Does Deva's arrow hit true amulet, which Runt is wearing? And if it does, does it do anything? That could change what Runt does.

Wait he fired the arrow? I was thinking he was using the Ready Action to be prepared for fire.
Can Deva's player please clarify if he fired the arrow is just prepared to fire? If you fired, roll attack and damage.
