Valwarynn seems happy to bring back a venison, an old male that, despite his advanced age, the party discovers that the meat is still tender.
"I've found the tracks of the carriage of the noble. We could follow them tomorrow after we have rested." he says. "Also, I almost forgot. " he takes some potions of his bag and distributes them among the party.
"This could be our last resort in case we got separated as we did in the mansion, or if I cannot reach you in time for a heal. "
( removed the money, added 1 healing potion and the bracers. Be sure to add 1 regular healing potion each guys! )
"Aww, thanks, Mister Val."Elsara accepts the potion. "So if we wanna check the tracks in the early hours, shall we go get comfy now? The sooner we start the better, right?"Elsara goes to open the door to her magically conjured house. "Girls get to bathe first." She tells the group, getting ready to enjoy a bathe before trance time.
So far this Monsoon has been drier than usual. It is good for the party in this instance though. They wake up at 4:00 AM just before sunrise. The sounds of crows that live in the forest fills the air. These birds are early risers, even among other birds so their activity in this hour is to be expected. The soft light of the rising sun cast long, cool shadows from the trees of the forest.
With the group well rested, Elsara collects her belongings, ready to begin their early morning tracking. "Good morning, everyone!" She brightly calls to the remaining slumbering people. "Let's get ourselves ready for the day. We've got adventure ahead of us!" Elsara pulls up her backpack's straps and checks on Val outside.
"Good morning, Mister Val. Hope you're doing okay." Elsara calls up to her druidic buddy. "I think everyone's ready to get going. Shall we make sure the carriage lizards are fed and kept safe before tracking on foot?"
The lizards seem to be very accommodating compared to horses. They are much harder to train initially but once they are trained like the ones the party has, they generally are easy to maintain.
In spite of the case at hand, Devarus was not one to pass up morning maintance if it could be helped at all. So, whatever amounted to his room in the tower is the place he remained past breakfast for the others. All that said, he at least replied to morning well wishes with an "Uh huh", though not without much care if it got heard past the door.
With maintance done and other morning rituals seen to however, Devarus makes a personal pit stop by Runt's room, if only to check up on her. If she still appeared down about Gendan, the half-drow would yet give her soem space, but make a mental note to keep an eye on her on his way out with the others. "So, we're to go by foot then for here? Probably for the best. Although, if there's any wards you can set in place for them as well just in case, that would appreciated, Ms. Elsara. Beyond that, let us be off."

Alright so the forest is huge and the path is long. If you keep following the trail, how long do you plan on following it? Because based on the map, your characters would know that it might take a day, maybe more, to reach Evie river.
"Will they be okay left alone for so long?" Elsara asks Val, checking first. "If not, I suppose some of us can help navigate them through the forest whilst following the tracks. It might be a bit slower, but I don't want the carriage to get broken or the lizards to get hurt while we're away."
(The tracks where of a carraige right? so I am assuming that we are ok following the tracks in our own... taking care of course, no need to rush it, but I was assuming we were to take ours... )
(It's more if it's feasible that we can take our own carriage through the forest safely. For all we know the noble's carriage broke a half mile further in and was abandoned, so was more checking on that side of things.)
For the record, you can move through forests with the carriage. It will also be faster than going on foot. The downside of doing that is that there might be random Animal Handling or Land Vehicle checks to make sure the carriage doesn't break or get damaged. The noble "failed" his check so his carriage broke and he got stuck in the forest.

Monsoon 11
Time: 4:00 AM

The sounds of crows that live in the forest fills the air. These birds are early risers, even among other birds so their activity in this hour is to be expected. The soft light of the rising sun cast long, cool shadows from the trees of the forest.
The sunrise finds Val sitting in a low branch of a nearby tree, partaking with the crows.

"Certanly! he says jumping down the branch after saying goodbye to the crow" he goes with Elsara and makes sure the lizards are attended to with her.

(Ah, it's further than that)

(Happy to take the carriage and lizards, Elsara will probably help however she can to keep the lizards in check.)
(Taking the carriage anyways then is seconded by yours truly! These old bones can only do so much walking in a day!)
