Elsara will also be around for the early watch. She's much quieter than usual, thinking about Val's words. Did she misinterpret the scenario? From her perspective, Folki was indeed brash, but Val was also unnecessarily patronising. Sure, Folki is a fraction of their age, but is considered an adult in his culture. Still, she was beginning to see Val's reasoning as Folki seems to be highly impuslive, and have a short fuse.
During her time, she is idly flicking through her spellbook, the metallic symbols etched into the book reminding her of comforting times, when she was shown how to graft such signs, as opposed to the usual parchment and ink style of crafting a spellbook. She feels a little better before she turns in after her watch, trancing on the more comforting thoughts.
The following morning, she walks over to Val as he is getting his pack ready. "Val, do you have a moment?" She asks, her tone more serious than her usual carefree and childish self. She'll lead him to one side for a more private talk. "I want to say sorry. I was acting on initial thoughts of the scenario without knowing the whole story. While I still think Folki feels wronged by something you said or did, I didn't ask for the whole story before. Would you... talk with him today? Please? I don't like when friends fall out, and I think Folki will just bide on that angry bit again."
(Back to the present)
Elsara nods to Elyza's sage advice."Is there any precautions we can take? I don't really know any wardings or anything right now."She looks to Val and Gym. "Can either of you maybe cast a protection spell that keeps icky things away?"
Elyza answers, "Don't bother. Protective wards against poison are usually very ineffective against diseases. As long as you don't touch, eat or drink anything that looks weird, you should be fine. We're looking for an orange moss that grows here. Touching it causes a disease called Moss Madness. I doubt we'll be able to find it in the dark so I'd say it might be better to search when the sun goes up."
"I don't have anythin' to keep the poison away, but I do have somethin' to find it." Gym can cast Detect Poison and Disease to better locate the moss.
[OOC] I'm not sure if the spell can detect something that can CAUSE a disease rather than a disease outright, thats up to GM. I just wanted to make the suggestion.

"Okay, well do we want to set up camp around here then?" Elsara asks, ready to get into the usual routine of alarms and a bit of sword practice, swapping between the swords to get used to the different balances. "Maybe when it's sunny out we can get a good view of the orange stuff." She motions to grab some of the remaining treats from the bags in the back to give to the horses, probably out of carrots and moving onto apples at this pace.
Past: “It’s ok, I appreciate your words. I’ve tried to talk to him yesterday ( change it to I’ve talked to him if we do it) and I take no personal offense about it but I agree with you that something that I said was very touching for him, for whatever reason. Nevertheless we cannot afford that kind of behaviour. Imagine that, instead of me saying that words, it was the GuildMaster, or a client... and we have to stop him beating an innocent. This must be adressed. “ he looks at the barbarian worried “ And for the age thing, I am well aware of it, I just said that to close the discussion for I had more important things to do in that moment, but keep in mind that if you behave like a child, people will treat you as such. Do not misunderstand me Elsara, you have a wonderful, sparkling and delightful personality, but you should be aware that sometimes is not the most mature behaviour. And... now that we are sincering to each other.. do you know why the other horse hates you? He doesn’t like to be called names like “Sparkles.” In fact, he... is a she.” He smiles.
Present: Valwarin will look for a suitable place to make camp in a safe zone:
No, Val, the other horse is just racist towards elves. Also, Val finds a safe space as well as bandit footprints.
Gym: That's not something I've thought about. How about this: If the thing that causes the disease is sick by itself, you can detect it. The Moss is not sick so you can't detect it.

(OOC: Elsara is young enough to actually be considered a child in the eyes of an elf.)
Retrospect:
"I know she's a girl."Elsara says. "I know that mares are bigger horses than stallions and have different bits."She then pauses for a second. "Well... Maybe rather than shut Folki out, just ask if you can speak in a minute. Also why would I want to act all grown up? Adults always seem so serious and less fun. Anyway, I'm gonna get Twinkle Snow and Sparkle saddled up."
Present:
Elsara will use a Detect Magic to look around the chosen area to make sure there isn't anything immediate before she starts on the alarms as per her usual routine. Once she is happy with the area, she'll make sure the horses are comfortable.
Past: Val opens his mouth to repear Elsara that he had tried to talk to Flolki but instead of repeating himself he says “ I didn’t shut him out, on the contrary, my door is still open but you cannot force to talk to someone that doesn’t want to. Sometimes is better to have a little bit of patiente and give the chance to the other person to open up at his own pace...”
Present:
“Here friends. It seems that there are bandits around here “ he says pointing at the tracks he has discovered.
Elyza looks at the tracks and says, "I heard one of the Bronze Leaf bases are in Moonglow. That's probably why there are tracks. I'm sure if we set up camp a little away from the road in a glade, we'll be fine. And if they do attack... I'll have some live test subjects to experiment on."
Elsara's started wandering off to look after the horses, probably dodging a horse hoof from the racist horse almost instinctively at this point. "Okay then, but don't leave your patience too long." She says is a cheerful tune. "You wouldn't want the short-lived people to die out before then, right?"She then goes to saddle up the other horse. "Good morning, Twinkle Snow. Are you ready for your morning sugar lump?"
Present
Elsara seems to look around with abject glee as she looks around at the magic around her, even though it was an assault on the senses. "I love this place." She says to herself. Upon hearing Elyza's warning. "Oh, we kinda fought some of them last time we were here. One of them poked a spear through my neck, but I'm okay!"
Past: Twinkle Snow seems happy to see you. Roll Animal Handling DC18.
Present: Elyza looks at you and says, "Is that right? Well, it always pays to have a healer in the party. Without healing spells or a doctor, these kinds of injuries leave nasty scars if they don't kill you. A healers magic doesn't leave scars unless someone wants to have them. You'd think no one would want them but we sometimes get teenagers with dark hair and resting *****-faces that come in wanting to keep scars left by the injuries. Do they think it's cool or something?"
(Why do I feel like I'm running a Chrono Trigger Campaign?)
Elsara places the alarms over the camp area as people get ready for the night. "Miss Elyza, how much orange moss do you want to collect? Also, do you have things that we can help collect it with and make sure we're not going to get diseased by it?"
Val listen to the doctor’s reply to Elsara. He is still thinking that it makes him terribly uncomfortable the suggestion of Elyza that some prisioners would do excellent test subjects. He just want to finish this job and look for another one at the Guild.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After sorting out the alarms (once again, party, Elyza, and the horses not triggering), she'll head over to make sure the horses are doing okay. It's been a long journey and pretty warm all the way through.
