Actually, you can march more than 8 hours and not suffer exhaustion. The reason for this is because the way I structured travel, it takes 6 hours to get from one square to another (In Lun. Rurik Main takes 1 day). If this rule was in play, it would take you like 15 days to get to Camenose. And that's actually kinda close to Sydil compared to other places in Lun. As long as you rest for 8 consecutive hours a day, you don't suffer exhaustion from moving.

That's actually the pace you're already moving in more or less. The last day you traveled 15 hours and that's only because you guys chose to travel the extra 3 hours.

Elsara will keep an eye out for the others as they are taking a break. She has placed a couple of alarms around the group by ritual casting from her book while they were setting up.
She appears to have got lightly distracted with her duties by spending some more time with the horse, giving it a pet and speaking to it quietly in elven.
You continue to move along the trail and travel for 4 more hours.

It is now 9:00PM
You see a human couple walking along the trail. They are going towards Sydil. The man is 20 years old and the girl is 16. The seedy looking man has tan skin and black stubble adorn his chin. He is wearing a cheap off-white cotton shirt and brown brown cotton pants. There is a rope tied around his waist and ankles as an accessory. His attire seems suited to that of a farmer's boy. He seems to be a few inches short of six feet tall. The girl has brown hair tied in a braid and fair skin. She is wearing a white apron over a brown cotton dress. Her skirt goes down to her ankles. Both of their clothes seems a bit dirty. It looks like they've been traveling for a day or too.
Elsara notes them out to the others. "Look, some weary travellers." She says before skipping ahead to greet them. "Good eve, sir and miss. How fares your travels?" She asks in a warm and excited tone, giving a short curtsy."We're headed to Camenose to help people."

"Good evening, miss elf" says the man, "Our travels are going fine. Camenose you say? Why we were just..." The woman pokes the man in the side and the man takes a pause. He seems to evaluate something and says, "Ah but we could use some food. We were... attacked by goblins you see and they stole our things... yes. Goblins." You can't put your finger on it but something doen't seem right about these guys.
Elsara looks them up and down. "Well your clothes look quite dusty. Maybe you'd like to stay with us tonight? We were about to get ready to make camp for the night. I'm Elsara, by the way." Elsara holds her hand out to shake in friendship.
Elsara knows about the Goblin problem so it doesn't seem very odd that they would be attacked by goblins on the road. Based on that fact, their story doesn't seem false. The man says, "No we couldn't possibly..." The woman cuts him off and says, "If it's not too much trouble, we'd be very grateful if you allow us to stay for the night. We were about to set up camp ourselves and we hadn't anything but a few fruits and berries that -uh- Albert here, gathered from the forest." The man seems to glare at the girl for a second before looking back at Elsara with a smile like nothing happened. "Yes, yes. We'd be very grateful" Says the man before shaking with Elsara.
Elsara turns to look to the others, an innocent smile on her face. "The more the merrier, right everyone?" She says in earnest, ready to help the two travellers they have come across. "And we're here to help against the goblins, too."
Val, you feel like the couple is hiding something. Their story seems true and very plausible given the recent events in Camenose. You know that the only place this trail leads to is Camenose village so if they have come from there, then it won't be surprising at all that they'd be attacked by goblins. Despite all the evidence that points to their story being true, you have a gut feeling that they are lying. Perhaps one of the most curious things about them is that they don't seem dangerous at all to you. Val feels that something about the woman is a bit familiar but he can't quite pin point it.
Skiirod, the man begins, "Ah right, we are actually from Venoport (A large port city in Rurik Main). We were visiting a friend of ours here. We were actually headed to Cosmer (The only port in Lun). We plan to rest a bit in Sydil since it's along the way."
Elsara looks them up and down. "Well your clothes look quite dusty. Maybe you'd like to stay with us tonight? We were about to get ready to make camp for the night. I'm Elsara, by the way." Elsara holds her hand out to shake in friendship.
“Make camp for the night? I thought we were going to travel through the night and rest during the day to stay out of such intense heat.” Gendan looks the travelers up and down.
Gendan doesn't see anything wrong with their story.
(Also your plan was to rest for 4 hours travel through the night and then get 8 hours of sleep in the morning? Or was it to rest 8 hours and then continue forward? Either way, you'd be in the same scenario.)
