Gendan's metal chain mail is hot to the touch and the quilted fabric presses against her body, trapping the excess heat. She suffers from Disadvantage to hit whenever she is in direct sunlight while wearing the heavy armor.
Going to bed again. Feel free to carry out any RP and retrospective actions that your character might do since waking up this morning to after Val finding the good eating spot in Vandanore.
“Whew it’s hot out here. Maybe we could stick to the tree line? If it gets much worse, I may need to travel without my armor on.” Gendan pulls at the collar of her chain shirt, trying desperately to let some breeze through.
“It’s hot indeed” says the druid “But come with me I’ve found a nice spot with clear water that will help us refresh and rest before contuining our journey”
Gymgiel was only moderately uncomfortable in his armor, definitely not suffering like Gendan seemed to be. "Oh, aye, its a hot one. Lead the way druid! I'm sure that we all could use that break."

You don't find any natural streams sadly. However, you do find a beautiful place about 200 ft into the forest where the tree density is a little lower than everywhere else but not low enough to have the direct sunlight fall on it. You can see beams of light pierce through the holes in the canopies and allow flowers of various shapes and colors to grow on the grass. It is overall a very pleasant location that would be perfect for a picnic if it wasn't for the fact that it is 200ft inside Vandanore Forest.
The cool shade decreases your discomfort greatly. You guys don't suffer from disadvantage while in this place (or anywhere else that has a lot of shade).
"Wow, the summertime here is great." Elara comments as the group spends some time in the shade. "It's nice and warm." She will look about the group as they travel in their mixed levels of comfort.
Gendan sprawls out on the grass, allowing the grass to slowly draw the heat from the metal. "I'll takesecond watch tonight if you'll allow me to get a head start on my rest right here and now." She leaves her bedroll rolled up and uses it as a pillow, preferring the cool grass as a mattress this time around.
"Okay!" Elsara nods, beginning to take out her metallic book again. "I'm gonna do my thing again. I can take first watch!" She returns to reading words from the tome as she wanders around the outskirts of the camp where people are setting up for the evening.
OOC: Sorry to assume that there will be water on the camping spot my bad:)
“ I can make a couple of watches also “ says the druid. He seems to be enjoying the trip so far, even that he doesn’t talk too much and that he spent most of the time ahead of the party, those who had paid attention had noticed that today he was nearer them and that they could spotted him more times that the first day.
Folki suddenly crashes down into the middle of the encampment from the tree that he's been resting in.
"Guys!..... Guys!....... I've had a great idea!...... Why don't we wait here while it's really hot....... and then travel when the sun goes down ....... no sun, no heat!........ you elves can see in the dark right? ...... i swear someone told me that ......."
“That’s a good idea but you need to rest more than us. We could keep walking in some hours and guide you but it’s going to be hard unless we soent a while day here. I can go and try to find water if we do that.”
Quick Question: How long do you guys plan to rest here?
OOC: I assume we only march 8 hours of the day (PHB 181) to avoid exhaustion. So I presume we will be at this spot approximately 16 hours in total for meal, rest, downtime.

Gendan's sleep is disrupted by Folki's ruckus. She awakens just enough to make sense of his rambling. "Yes, traveling during darker hours would definitely help me out. I'm only half elf, but I, too, can see in the dark."
Actually, you can march more than 8 hours and not suffer exhaustion. The reason for this is because the way I structured travel, it takes 6 hours to get from one square to another (In Lun. Rurik Main takes 1 day). If this rule was in play, it would take you like 15 days to get to Camenose. And that's actually kinda close to Sydil compared to other places in Lun. As long as you rest for 8 consecutive hours a day, you don't suffer exhaustion from moving.
"I Can see in the dark as well, this heat is rather warm but nothing I can't handle. I am resistant to fire and heat." Skriiod says as he looks around the group.

Not only was Gym not suffering like Gendan, he was powering through his discomfort like it was nothing.
Assuming Val leads everyone to the new location, you arrive at the newly discovered Vandanore Picnic Spot.

(Opps. Forgot about it. Ah well. You passed CON anyway. Will remember to not call CON save from Skiirod due to heat waves in the future)
