The storm building and growing worse, visibility becoming an issue Mimzy finds herself separated from the others searches for cover and afterward decides to go her own way and leave the group.
Sorry all, just unable to keep with the posting rate etc. so need to bow out, wish you all the best luck, good gaming with you. Take care...
The storm is getting closer. If you want to do something about it, now might be a good time. If you just stand out in the middle of nowhere, you're going to have a bad time.
Another bright light engulfs you all followed by another boom. A strong wind blows water into your faces as it begins raining heavily. You all can't see anything more than 5ft away.
Runt, the storm makes it difficult to set up your tent. Roll DEX with proficiency but with disadvantage.
Will the others set up tent somewhere or duck into the tents they already set up for the night?
“IT WOULD BE BETTER TO GO TO THAT HOLE!!” Tries to say Val to be heard pointing towards Runt and helps him setting up the tents. ( and hopefully cancel the disadvantage)
Since Val is shouting, everyone who is within 30ft of him can hear him no problem. If you are more than that away, you have to make perception checks.
Val can take the Help action to cancel disadvantage. Keep in mind that it will take one person to set up one tent about a minute. Runt's hole is 60ft away from the camp (Where you guys set up camp for the night before you were woken up to the storm). I would mention direction but the storm disorients you. Val and Gendan are within 5ft of each other and 15ft away from the tree. Elsara is behind Gendan and Val but 10ft away from them. She has the horses with her. The tree itself is 45ft away from the camp and 80ft away from the hole. Hunin is probably still inside his own tent in the camp.
Also I'm assuming all of you have your tents already set up at camp so it will take an additional 12 seconds to take the tents down before they can be moved to the hole. This will also impose a DEX check with proficiency but without disadvantage.
Before the storm started, you saw Val, Gendan and Elsara (and the horses) go off to find a shelter in one direction while you went in a slightly different direction because it's inefficient to look at the same areas. Also, since all of you were fairly close to each other (you'd have a clear sight of them if it wasn't for the fact that it was 1:00 AM. You can still get glimpses of them when everything is made bright by lightning flashes) so I wouldn't really count it as splitting the party. Then the storm hit and you can't see anything further than 5ft from you. Will Runt try to shout (or do something else) to draw the attention of the others to your hole before you start pitching the tent? I mean, they already know you have found a hole because you found it before the storm started and they could catch glimpses of you same way you can catch glimpses of them thanks to lightning the. Now with the strong rain, they have lost sight of you completely and don't know which direction your hole is relative to them. Will you try to do something to tip them off to your location or just start setting up the tent?
Alright, the team of Elsara, Val and Gendan hear Runt's shouts and though they can't see her, they can determine the direction her voice came from. You guys now know the general direction of Runt's hole and if you move that way, you will be able to reach it eventually. Because moving there while keeping an eye out for the hole in question takes longer than just moving, it will take you 1 minute to reach it. Runt, what will you do within this 1 minute?
Hunin can't hear Runt over the rain unfortunately. He is at the camp site. What is he doing or what will he do?
EDIT: Also, I forgot to ask: What does Elsara, Val and Gendan do now that they have heard Runt say something?

Dex 4 forgot to add my dex mod so it should be a six not a 4. not that it makes much difference.
