Gendan and Elsara both draw their swords. Gendan's stance is one of power and strength while Elsara's is more defensive and flexible. Their swords clash. Gendan's swings are too forceful for Elsara to block directly so she opts to deflect them. She moves with nimbleness and grace like a dancer while Gendan continues swinging and moving like a warrior. Finally, Gendan has had enough and tries to disarm Elsara with her superior strength. However, Elsara dodges the blow with a move that would be right at home in a ballet, leaving Gendan wide open. In the fluid motion as her dodge, she moves right next to Gendan and holds her blade to the half-elf's throat.
Elsara wins.
“Guess I’ve got a ways to go. Can’t even beat a wizard in hand-to-hand combat...” Gendan retires dejected. As she sits and sharpens her sword, there’s a slight air of anger, but mostly disappointment. “I’m not going to be able to sleep just yet, so I may as well keep watch if you guys want to rest up. I doubt that gives you any sense of security, though, after that display of futility.”
Gymgiel gives a small clap after the display. "Yeh both did grand. Yeh're too hard on yerself Gendan"

"You're being too hard on yourself, Miss Gendan." Elsara says. "That was a really difficult battle. You're really strong!" She then looks to Folki. "My mother trained me when I was younger. She's a really good swordswoman; she's never lost a fight."
(Thanks NorthwestNiner, amended. Was thinking of Gymgier for some reason)
"My mother?" Elsara seems to go quiet for the briefest of moments. "Mother's the best swordswoman in the whole land. She and father are away right now, but I'm gonna be as good as them some day."
The next day, you wake up at 5:00 AM. The heat wave has subsided and you can easily travel during the day. That day is very uneventful.
Summer-5 Time: 5:00PM.
Traveling for 1 and a half more days since meeting the couple, you finally arrive in Camenose Village.
Aros Region Map:
The setting sun has painted the village a serene shade of orange. There are no proper roads in this small village. In fact it offers very few in terms of shops. The only large marketplace is a trade house located to the Northeast of the village. Surprisingly, there is a post office even here. One house that stands out is a large mansion of wood near the north outskirts of town. On the east outskirts is a single hut with broken windows.
Skriiod looks to the village as they all arrive in the early evening. He looks to Alan and Tracy. "Well, let's get you two safely home and talk with her father, he is probably worried sick about her."

Tracey nods and goes to show you her father's house. Instead she stands in shock at the sight of the damaged house to the east. "Wha- What happened here?" She points to the house with the broken windows and says that's my father's house. Who did this?"
Gymgiel looks around the village from his spot on the wagon with a smile before taking a deep breath of the air. "Ahhh, I never expected to be back so soon. Good to be home." The commotion from Tracey caused a bit of alarm, though. "That's strange. Lets go."

"Well, judging by the notice your father put up, goblins did this and that's why he thinks you were kidnapped by them, quickly now we need to see if we can get any information."

A man in his 40s comes out of the hut. He seems to have not been eating well for the past few days. He has tear stains on his face. "Are you the-" He sees Tracy and runs to her and gives her a hug. "You saved my daughter! I can't thank you enough."

Kept awake by the commotion Folki sat on the edge of the cart managing to catch the the letter half of the sparring match.
"Wow....... you've got some moves on you little one....... where did you learn to do that?"
Skriiod watches the practice duel and applauds both fighters. "You both are great Swordswomen, I can not wait to see you both in a real fight."

"Who is your mother?"
[OOC] Elsara knows that Gendan is female. I assume “Mister” was just a typo.

"Well you'll have to tell us about them some time........ best to go get some rest ....... i'm awake now so I'll take the first watch"
With that Folki flies up into the trees. He settles into a fork from which he has a good view over the camp and surrounding area.

As they enter the village Folki is standing on the highest part of the cart to try and gain height, all three axes through his belt.

Elsara will rush forward. "Hello!? Is everyone alright!?" She calls out hoping for a response.
