Odd. According to my notes Runt should have one more hit die. I think when you undid your last short rest, the hit die wasn't given back for some reason. Feel free to roll another d12 for short rest heals.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Devarus' head snaps upright at a thought. He quickly began expecting his wounds in a hurried panic. "Check your wounds. Make sure nothing is infected." He says to the others and snapping back into reality four orbs of dim light around the rest to make the once over easier.
Once satisfied in the work, another tired sigh slips out. "You know I used to hear things often got quite dangerous for adventurers. But never imagined we'd be facing twisted orcs of all things. At least... not this badly twisted." He admits as he looks over to what may soon be just a pile of corpses from the dogo, minus the fat one.
"But I think we can safetly write off this being just a case of Orcs gone bad, to say the least."He looks to the hole where eyes gleaming in the dark. "And I bet will find a proper a nest of them just past there, along with a source. But. Maybe we double back? Check out those other areas to make sure we didn't miss anything important?"
(I don't know why, but there's something oddly satisfying know I have either a plus or minus to a skill. No 0s. Just one way or another.)

“Why’d you guys go easy on them? It seems like a couple of them may wake up soon.” Gendan’s willing to put them out of their misery if her companions suggest it.
(It's truly a beautiful sight. The 1s everywhere, that is.)
Devarus furrows his brow at Runt before looking to Gendan. "Hope. Something happened here to turn them. These Orcs might not have been 'good' people, but they worked with the nearby settlement... until recently. Keeping one or two of the more... deformed could lead to a cure." Devarus points out. Taking one last moment to survey the room at large, glossing over any mercy killing done along the way, his eyes eventually fall on the darkened cave further along.
"Well, no point standing around here any longer. We'll push the big lug and his compatriots over to the to the hole and block passage. It won't stop them, but at least slow them down while we explore the rest of the worked stone area. /If/ you think it safe enough, uhm, Elesa, wasn't it?" If noone objects or comes up with something, Devarus warily enlists Runt's aid in rolling or pushing the dead into place. Even if it wasn't possible to block it all up, if its possible to get most of the tunnel blocked over then its enough for the Half-Drow. Once the issue is settled one way or another he takes up the longbow and follows whoever wished to take point.

Alright, I'm guessing Val or Gendan or both killed the knocked out orcs. As you approach the dark tunnel, you hear movement as the creatures spread and move away from you. Are you sure you want to plug up the hole? You don't want to go in and check that place out?
(Jokes aside, we can always move the body later, and take a peek. Totally not setting ourselves up for an encounter within a future encounter from abomination orcs coming reinforcing another.)

Okay got it. With Runt and Devarus working together, they plug up a bit of the hole. There's still enough space to move through but instead of having one big passage it is now two narrow passages. Meanwhile all the unconscious orcs are killed.
You finally find some stairs at the end of the 120ft long hall. Descending the stairs which bends north then east then north then east again, you come to a room that is 30ft on each side. On the south the room extends further down to a section that's 20ft wide and 60ft long. To the north of the room is another set of stairs leading up. To the south are three sets of doors. To the east is a large metal door. This place is also dark.
(Back to the intersection, from there... south to check out the three sets of doors, starting from which ever one is closest to the intersection. And if all are equal distance, then whichover one would be consider the left-most one from someone descending into their area.)
