The Guild - Game Thread

Gendan charges forward and grapples one of the orcs. Elsara follows suit (None of you needed  to use Misty step) and tries to do the same but the orc punches her in the face and runs (no damage to Elsara). Others try to stop him but they all fail and he jumps out the window.

What do you do now?

(Would Elsara get an AoO when he jumps?)

(No because we aren't doing combat rounds here. Everyone got one thing that they could do and Elsara chose to try and grapple the orc. It did not work)

“I’ll take care of this one. You guys make sure the other one doesn’t get away to alert anyone.”

I’d like to shove this guy prone. Athletics again 15

Val will turn again into an elf and fire at the fleeing orc with his longbow.

( Attack: 15 Damage: 5 )

Runt dashes forward and follows the orc out the window.

"Oww..." Elsara nurses her nose for a second, taken off-guard by the underhanded tactic. After Val aims and arrow and looses, she follows up by heading to the window, trying another sleep spell. (This time only 1st level)

Sleep: Affects 29 hit point's worth of creature(s).

Runt goes through the window. By the time Val wildshapes back, the orc is already gone. Elsara rushes to see outside but she can't get a visual on the orc. Still cast Sleep?

Runt, you've landed some space away from the fleeing orc. What do you do?

If Elsara can't see the orc, and with Val & Runt on the hunt, she'll go to help Gen.

Runt would like to chase and tackle the orc. The goal is to knock him out as quickly as possible.

Runt swims after the fleeing orc. He begins shouting incoherently as you get within grabbing distance of him and the first mate of your ship steps out to the railing to see this. He then begins shouting something that you can't hear due to the sound of the waves and splashing.

How are you going to tackle the orc in the water?

“I guess Runt really does have a thing for the water, huh? Stormborn, was it?”

With Elsara’s help, here’s the adv roll to knock my hostage prone. 17

Gendan knocks the grappled orc pirate prone. He grunts in the sudden pain.

What do you do now?

(So we tie this one up, too?)

(My bindings are in use with the other two, so unless someone brings me something, I’ll just keep this guy grappled on the floor. His movement is 0, so he can’t stand up.)

(You could also grapple him, so if he escapes one, he doesn’t escape the other, giving us a chance to re-grapple. OR we can knock him out :) )

(Elsara's aren't being used. And checking her sheet, she has two lots of 50 ft. of rope. She can always cut some off if not all of it is used for the tying up.)

“Come on over and tie him up, then.” Gendan says to Elsara while having the Orc in an arm bar hold.

"Right!" Elsara hurries over, taking one of the loops of rope attached to her pack to begin restraining the orc. "We should look into getting manacles to capture baddies in the future." She says to herself as much as Gendan.

While the others manage with the new prisioner and as Runt has followed the fleeing orc, Val stays vigilant, bow at the ready, in case more pirates show.
