The Guild - Game Thread

A large portion of the orcish hoard is blasted to oblivion by fiery explosion caused by Gendan's demon powers. Runt rushes in and cuts down two Orcs. One of the orcs that survived the blast is shot down by Deva's Longbow. His second attack however, flies wide. The captain had survived the blow. As the orcs converge on Runt, the captain moves in and stabs Runt and moves out of range again (Fancy Footwork. No AoO trigger) She rushes back into the trees, using the flora and the mist to stay out of sight (You can't see her anymore)

Battle 2: Temporarily postponed for story reasons

Battle 1: Deva's turn.

Val smiles to the Captain. 

"I am afraid that the mouse was the fanciest thing I was able to turn today... but we are not alone..." 

He moves his hands and utter some words in the Old Tongue and the very sea answers his call. A great wave raises above the deck and hit the orcs, hopefully sending them out of the ship.

( He cast Tidal wave. If he is free from AoO after it he will retreat trying to put as much distance between him and the remaining orcs as possible. 15 ) 

Battle 2:

Hitting 3 Orcs.  Dmg: 21
19 damage because I didn't notice Val already roll for damage.

Orc 1: 5
Orc 4: 8

Val's tidal wave knocks out Orc 6 and drops Orcs 1 and 4. Val is still surrounded an unable to move away (AoO would trigger). Captain Cerax's ship, the Vortex gets close and opens fire... on Runt. Runt manages to dodge one ballista bolt but she takes a heavy hit from the second one. The Cerax's face scowls as he hears the ship fire. He drops (stable and unconscious) Orc 3 and puts a big gash into Orc 1 as he deflects their swords with his shield. Meanwhile the two remaining orcs continue to attack Val, one landing a good hit on him. Captain Cerax screams commands to his First Mate through the message. It could have been done so without screaming but he was too agitated to care. He shouts, "What is going on there Brian!? Why do I keep hearing my ship open fire? What do you mean you're helping! Cut. It. OUT!"

 (We are on the outside, aren’t we?) “ Hold on captain.” Says The elf “They are not going to last” 

The eyes of the elf turn white and sparks of blue lighting jump from his fingers. He screams and a bolt of lighting hit the deck between the orca that are attacking them. 

(call lighting. First one between the two orcs attacking Val, if possible he would caught another one or two from the captain, is a 5 feet radius from the point the lighting strikes. Dex ST DC15 or suffer 22. If there are clouds in the sky another 4

If they are down Val will move way but do not lose line of sight with the Captain. Between the damage from the tidal wave and this one they should fall... or we can say goodbye to our beloved Druid ;) ) 

Actually, Val and the captain are inside the ship, below deck. You can't call lightning here. Do something else.

It was good thing runt was already enraged or that 2nd bolt might have hurt a little. Even more pissed off now, she swings her axe at the next couple of rocks with reckless abandon.

Woops thought we were outside and they bursted off from the inside. No worries. 

Clapping his palms together the Druid invokes the strength of the thunder and pushes away the orca that surrounds him and the captain. 

(same thing but with Thunderweave at lvl 3 22 CON save 15 or be pushed away 10 ft half damage and no push on a save)

Accidentally skipped other orc's turns. Orc1 goes before the Captain. Then he gets knocked out.

The Orc 4 is launched out the window by the blow. With how much damage he's taken, he's pretty much dead. Orc 5 Manages to resist the thunderous energy. Runt manages to cleave through one more orc, blasting him apart with a sonic wave. The captain knocks out another one of the orcs that were harassing him but not before the orc gets one more swing on the captain. The  orc 5 takes another swing at Val but this time, the druid dodges. Meanwhile Runt cleaves through another pirate.

Battle 1:

"Ms. Ru--oh...oh, she's... *whew*... she's still fine -- Hang in there, Ms. Ruu!" Devarus said to himself before shouting near the end, stoking the flames of her own fighting spirit further. Then following an inwardly spoken curse over what he /hoped/ was just the Vortex' crews incompetence, Devarus rushes closer to the melee, eventually discarding the long bow in favor of trusty scatter shot. With every pull of the trigger, the half-drow continued his march forward, spraying the thickest of the horde about Runt with bolts.

Bonus Action: Rally Maneuver on Runt, granting 6 Temp Hp.

 (Dev's goal is to get within 20 to 30ft of the melee, if that matters.)

Feeling a little dizzy due to the loss of blood Valwaryn uses some of the energy of the Mother tocall for the spirit of a dolphin who floats above the battle to heal the captain and himself and uses his sword to try to finish off the orc that is still fighting him. 

“Stand tall captain. They are already dead, they just don’t know it yet...”

Battle 2:

The Captain responds, "Aie. You are right about that. They don't know how dead they are." Saying this, the Captain quickly stabs the orc2 twice with a flurry from his rapier.

Val's turn again

Battle 1:

Deva rushes forward to provide some backup to Runt. He fires twice in rapid succession, the specialized bolt breaks into a small cloud of darts. The orc he was targeting initially, (Orc E) raises his shield and blocks all incoming darts. However those that were standing around Orc E wasn't so lucky. They were all pelted by a cloud of darts.

Elsara and Gendan's turn.

Gendan will run up and pincer the nearest Orc between herself and Runt. 

Does that use all of her movement, or does she have a little left? (Will determine what she does with her turn.)

Healing in case it succees 7 ) 

With another cut in his side the Druid has had enough of that orc. 

He concentrates the power of the thunder on his left fist and opens his hand towards the orc, sending him flying across the room.

(Another Thunderwave lvl 2. CON save 15 or be thrown away and take 17. Half damage and not moving on save but after the scimitar and the other spells should be enough. Hopefully Hehe) 

Gendan: It uses all her movement.

Gendan swings her pact blade Green-Flame Blade at the nearest orc (pincering it with Runt), and a flame leaps to the next closest. 

Attack 22 for 11 magical slashing, 1 fire. Second target takes 8 fire.

Battle 2:

Orc 2 CON: 21
Orc 5 CON:  10

Battle 2 is won... for now.

Battle 1:
2 Orcs killed by Gendan
