DM: Also because Elsara was overencumbered, I moved her rations to her backpack of holding. It is now listed on the "Other Possession" section.
Monsoon 9 Time: 7:00 AM Position: Aron's Farm
You set off early in the morning for Ashman's Farm to pay him a visit. You were given helpful directions by the bartender and have marked the location of that place on your map. You move along the road back the way you arrived to Farendale. According to the bartender, you drive along this road for about an hour and then you go off it to the south. However, as you get near the place where you are to go off road, your Lizards become uncontrollably restless. They begin thrashing around and hissing. They begin running at full sprint and stop listening to any sort of commands of whoever is driving. They recklessly pull the carriage away from the road and to the south, dealing massive damage to the wheels in the process. Despite efforts to bring them under control again, they break the restraints and run off somewhere in the wild, leaving you standing in the middle of the plateau and with a carriage that has a broken wheel and no beasts to pull it. Looking at the map, you notice that you are some distance south of the road. If you try to walk back to town, it will take you about a day on foot to return to Farendale. About a 20 minute walk to the south would be Aron's Farm.
"That, and be more on guard in this area. I cannot recall the last time I've seen beasts act so erratically. But, I fear what it portends all the same." On that note, Devarus follows the others for the farm, but not without at least his longbow at least in hand for the remaining trip. That, and weathered ear open for any strange sounds on the wind as the group continued its progress.
The party heads toward the farm. Getting closer, they see that it is less a rustic farmhouse like one would expect and more a mansion. It is a sizeable but very old and worn wooden mansion. There is a large crop field by it's side but most of the field is empty save for one section. The amount of crops that is growing on the field is what you would expect a single farmer in a small plot of land to produce not something that might be produced by someone who owns a land of this size.
(Sorry, this last week has been pretty much busy on things from waking up to going to bed. I'll try and post again over the weekend)
Elsara will happily skip along with the others, but with her hands free to draw a blade should they get leapt upon by nasty beasts. As they go past the crop field, she wanders a little closer to have a look and smell the scents; she hasn't really visited farms before so it enjoying the new rich experiences.
(Passive Perception 14 if anything happens. Keep safe, all!)
Devarus is some ten or fifteen feet behind Val and Elsara. He put made sure to put away his weapons upon approach. Seeing the emptiness of the lot, he cannot help but frown and asks, "Has anyone spied any workers, yet?" He asked of the others. Aside from that he looks to the windows to see if he spots anyone watching them in turn. Even if he doesn't, he keeps on forward, and was even prepared to skip ahead at the end to knock first on the mansion's front doors if noone else proved willing in the party.

Oh shit I missed this post. I am extremely sorry for the hold up.
Deva, the house is 1 floor tall. It is like a mansion in the sense that it is very big but it's not very tall. The windows seem dirty and you can't see through them.
Knocking on the door, you hear a man's voice say, "Coming, coming!"
The door opens and a 6 ft 8 inches tall man appears. The man looks to be in his mid-50s. He is human. He has black hair that has started to bald. He has a big black bushy beard. He says, "How can I help you?"
Devarus gives an almost apologetic smile and lightly bows his head. "Apologies for the disturbances. The name is Devarus Daknin. And these here--" He gestures back to the others. "Are my compatriots. You see, we are adventurers on assignment in regards to some recent troubles that has befallen the general area. Would you mind answering a few questions in regards to any recent disturbances? Such as trouble with any beasts of burdens, perhaps? Or strange sights reported by... mn... farmhands of yours? Or gardnerers, I suppose -- Just to name a few of the questions."
The man scratches his head and says, "Well... I can't say I've noticed any thing you might call a disturbance but I'll try to answer your questions as best I can. Name's Aron Ashman. This here is my farm. We don't got any farmhands here right now. It's only me and my brother, Bill who's decided to visit and come stay for a few days. The cows and pigs have been no trouble, I can tell you that much."
"Is that so? How peculiar. With the odd behavior of our own mounts of late, I had hoped to find greater insight in that regard." Devarus confesses, keeping it casual, but still regarding Aron with some due wariness. "Can you tell more than about the grasslands nearby? Just in general. Noteable watering holes, or particular beasts you've had to repel that might've drifted on this way. Also, do any caravans happen to at least stop by here from time to time?"
He says, "Can't say there's anything interesting about the grasslands here, unless you count that well a few days ride from here. I didn't really have to repel any beasts coming on to my property. Though I have had people break down nearby a lot recently. They come up here and ask for shelter. They're all a weird bunch. Always leave in the morning without even saying hi."
Elsara, realising that they are actually meeting the folk at the estate, hurries over from her little sidetrack. She looks somewhat amazed at the tall statue of the man. "Aww, well I'll say hi to you. Hi!" Elsara says brightly. "My name's Elsara, it's nice to meet you!"
Elsara holds her hand out in a friendly manner to the man, holding it a little higher up to compensate for the height disparity.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gendan will keep her introduction short, hoping not to make any small talk. She’ll leave that to the elves.
”Gendan.” She says with a slight nod. Trying to follow in the rhythm of the other introductions. Then she averts her eyes to look around the house, past Aron.
Gendan peeks past Aron and sees another man with a bald head and a bushy black beard sitting inside the house and reading a cheap book. He looks older than Aron. He is shorter and has a beer gut. He is wearing a red checkered shirt and blue leather pants. He is holding a big mug of lemonade (or lemon juice since it is not carbonated), taking occasional sips from it.
Devarus raises a brow. "And it's always the same strangers -- people that come by? Did they have any identifying marks on them? Or, if'n you can recall, seemed... to make an effort of some kind not to be remembered?" He asked curiously. "And this well you mentioned. Did they ever ask about it as well?"

What do you do?
Rint would suggest we walk to the farm.

Elsara walks around in the crop field but there is nothing of interest other than the sheer amount of land that is just left unused.
Val just walk at Elsara's side and kepp a chit chat with her in elvish.
( hope everone is still ok.. )
