(Just to be clear, I was implying that Elsara would remain in the room, keeping “watch”, during the second shift. Totally makes sense that she would be in her trance.)
Before bed, Gendan asks Elsara, “Weird place, huh? Did you notice any signs of that Affectus Uti magic around here?”
Right so all that's left is to see what Runt would be doing for the rest of the night so here's the situation so far:
2nd watch is being taken by Val (Since he would be rat scouting during 1st watch) and Elsara.
Also Gendan, you look around the kitchen and later your own room for valuables but are unable to find anything (Perception roll too low. Later 20 in Perception was for keeping watch and not looking at the room)
After a hearty game of cards and a less than stellar dinner, it's time for bed. Runt secures her room and looks for traps. (you may roll Perception for trap finding)
At 11:00 PM, one hour after everyone went to bed, Val gets to work on his recon work. He notices that a mouse would be too big to sneak under the door.
Val, what do you wildshape into and where do you go?
Before bed, Gendan asks Elsara, “Weird place, huh? Did you notice any signs of that Affectus Uti magic around here?”
"Umm, no?" Elsara says, kinda losing track of where they were up to."I mean, when I checked as we arrived I didn't see anything. Well, except the fancy freeze box. They're worth quite a bit in the major cities, must be quite a household commodity."
Devarus nods solemnly, and does as asked, opening the door just enough for Val to go zooming out of it. The sight of the transformation still left him in awe in some ways. Yet ever the self-proclaimed professional, he is swift to recover. "... Mn.... half-expected him to turn into a spider." He thought quietly aloud with a smirk after having closed the door and sat down with his back against it.
Armored and armed, Dev waited with baited breathe.

After the dinner, everyone plays a few more rounds of cards, this time with Aron joining in. Finally, everyone gets to bed at 10:00 PM. At 11:00 PM Val turns into an owl and scouts the premises. The mansion is bigger than what it appeared to be at the front. There is a courtyard. It seems to have a shed and a grain silo that's attached to the building. The courtyard is surprisingly large and it has a bunch of old graves in it.
Runt, you don't notice any traps but you do find holes in your wall that are put there for air-flow. Most large houses have them. Though the other side of the hole seems to be a dark room. You can't really make out anything (even with darkvision) due to positioning.
After scooping around Val decides to try to enter into the silo and look inside it, then he will look for the way to enter the mansion from it.
( I thought of the spider but I cannot turn into something tiny, just small... If I am mistaken then we will try the little spider if needed later ;) )
Val, circling the silo, you see that there is no way to enter it other than the door. The door is also closed and you will need to revert out of wildshape to open the door.
DM: I do not recommend running around in this section of the house in humanoid form alone.
( Can I turn into a spider? I cannot find it now, but I believe that you cannot go two steps away from your size when you change... perhaps this was on another edition? I don't know.. .anyway if I can then He turn into a spider and pass behind the door )
I checked the rules and the only restriction on wildshape I saw was CR (and also having climb and swim speeds but I think your Level is high enough to shape into stuff that have climb speeds). I'm going to say that you can wildshape into a spider.
(Crap should had asked before but at least now he knows the layout of the house hehe, let's turn into a spider and crawl below that door. Let's see what's inside. Thanks! )
Val descends down into the courtyard that's surrounded by the building on four sides (thought I'd make that clear) and shapshifts again. This time he turns into a spider. Sneaking below the door, he enters the rusty metal silo. It appears that the silo doesn't have any grain, a fact that's not unexpected considering the derelict nature of this part of the house. What is somewhat unexpected (or maybe not; I can't tell you what your character thinks) however is that the silo has heaps of metal stored in it. The metal in question is in the form of various tools from farming tools to carriage pieces to smith tools. All the tools are rusted beyond repair. Judging by the thick layers of dust and cobwebs on the tools and in the silo as a whole, it's clear that this place has been neglected for years. The tools have been left here for decades.
There is a stair-well that spirals up along the silo. There is a door at the end of the stairs on the top floor, which appears to be on the third story. The stair-well is made of metal and rock. It doesn't match the walls of the silo, suggesting that it was put here after the structure was built and not part of the design.
Val, roll Investigation or Perception (your choice)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Perception: 12)
Val was more and more disturberd by the things that he saw about the house. The pile of rusty, unused tools made him feel even more uneasy. He started to crawl up the wall towards the door at the top, trying to remain hidden despite his small size and the fact that he was apparently alone in the great, now gargatuan for him, silo.
While moving along the wall to the door at the top, Val notices the floor and realizes something. The dust on the walls and the floor and even the door is a lot less than what was on the metal scrap pile. This indicates that this place may not be as derelict as it seems. Then Val moves towards the upper door and crawls under it. He enters a dark hall way. This hall also very dusty and full of spider webs. However, even here, there's the unsettling lack of dust and cobwebs in the lower parts of the hallway. It also does not look like it belongs in a farmer's house. It is the kind of hallway that you would expect in a nobleman's house. The once red carpet that decorated the floor is covered in fungus and mold. Black mold is growing on the walls and the paint has all but faded away. There is door at the end of the hall and one in the middle of the hall. Adding the door you came from, that makes three doors in total. In the hall there's also small wooden that has swollen from the moisture and neglect. There's a golden framed painting on the wall that's crooked. The glass is too dirty to see through.
With the growing thought that they hadn't should have come here at all, less to spent the night, Val goes towards the door in the middle of the hallway and crawls below it to peek inside.
Behind the door is a large bedroom. It looks like this might have been an old guest room of some kind. There's furniture to hang clothes, a small closet, a bed, a bedside table and a window with curtains on it. The other side of the window is a brick wall. This room is more dusty, indicating that whatever has been moving through the halls doesn't frequent this room much at all.

Runt would use some of her rope and bind the door and if possible (if there is one) the window. She would check the room for traps or other secrets.

" Please, open the door and be ready, if you hear me sing twice you will know that it's me that I've return"
Then he turns into a small owl. The silent night stalker will be perfect for a quick past around the house.
