The three pushes the bookcase aside. Together they easily push it out of the way but that's when they realize something odd. Dungeon Crawling and adventuring knowledge tells them that bookcases hiding secret doors are usually easy to move since the person who built the secret room need to enter and exit said room frequently. However, the fact that this bookcase was heavy and strong suggests that it would be quite difficult to move it out of the way for normal people. The heavy bookshelf does not make much noise while it was pushed. Beyond the book case, is a large metal door. Tracks from the pool of blood suggests that something was dragged into the room on the other side of the door.
DM: Someone please go get Deva before proceeding.
(DC was 21 - Hard for 1 adventurer. Extremely Hard for non-adventurer. Easy to move if working together. For group checks, I add your rolls together so you got 56)
“Elsara, you want to send the old man a Message and tell him to get down here?”
EDIT: I realize I was thinking of Elsara’s Sending spell, which would be overkill for the situation. Feel free to play it as Gendan being lazy and send her to get Deva. >.<
(LOL has Val heard any of his companions predicaments? Any case he will turn again to elf form and tap the confused lizard on the head before going back to his room )
Well, whenever Devarus is informed of things, he just looks at the informer funny for a few seconds, before brushing it all off and following along with Tripple T in hand.

Runt opens the door and the stench of dust, mold, rotting wood and... bio-waste (Rotting flesh, fecal matter etc.). The room beyond has old wooden floors. The room is shaped like two 30ft squares fused together at the north-east corner. This place seems to have been a dining room at some point.
On the lower square, east of the metal door is a wooden L-shaped counter. The North wall or the lower square contains various picture frames. On the east wall is a wooden door. The trail of blood leads to the room beyond this east door. On the north-west corner is a small cupboard
On the upper square, there is a 10ft long dining table that's toppled on it's side. There's a table for cooking and cutting along the north wall as is common in most kitchens. There is a window on the north wall but the glass is too dirty to see through. There is a wooden door on the east and on the west walls.
As Runt steps into the room, she fails to notice a small patch of the wooden floor that is a bit newer than the rest. The floor sinks 1 inch down and something clicks to her right (west side) A structure that appeared to be a large cabinet launched a hail of bolts toward Runt. Her senses were honed to danger and so she managed to avoid direct hits, instead taking multiple cuts to her body.
Elsara senses faint traces of Affectus Uti emanating from every inch of the room beyond. It starts to give her a headache.
( With his stealthy mission ruined by that persitent lizard he will try to go back yes ;) besides he cannot let the rest get into trouble without him they are going to kill themselves ;) )
