Well there's a bunch of small furniture like a small table for a flower vase so Deva successfully piles everything in place to block the door off.

Valwaryn looks around nerviosuly as the others bar the door.

Devarus lets out a raspy chuckle. "Probably cut through that like so much fresh bread. But here's hoping." He states as he admired his work. Then without completing taking his eyes off the door, looks to the others and say, "If any of you got ideas for booby trap at least, do so. Otherwise, we'll hold up here for now, recover our strength, and then..." He trailed off unable to find more encouraging words. So, he found a spot to sit and begin finally catching his breath and swapping out from shield and sword to Scattershot once more.

Gendan positions herself directly next to the doorway and encourages Runt to position herself on the opposite side. “Maybe if that thing comes through, even if on the ceiling, we can manage to flank it.

Once the hour passes without interruption, Devarus breathes a bit easier. Although he knew it to be likely that the creature too recovered, in his heart he knew it to be the better course of action. As noone throughout the hour appeared to have come up with an idea for the attack, he soon found himself sighing and rubbing his forehead. "... If everyone is ready, let's make for the manor entrance. If you got any oil on hand, set a trail of it behind us.... Information be damned at this point, that creature cannot be allowed to live."
