Yes. RAW doesn't cause AoO from standing up. But a lot of things in this campaign doens't follow normal rules. This whole fight can be seen as a violation of RAW because of the very weird way cover works. If the majority thinks that AoO from standing is too brutal and doesn't make much sense (I think it makes sense), I will remove this house rule.
To answer your question, just standing up will trigger AoO. This is to make recovering from unconsciousness/ getting brought back to life more punishing. You can argue being prone is punishing enough but ranged attacks have disadvantage on prone targets so being prone has some benefits. Though the AoO that is triggered will not have advantage.
That's why I asked you if it was a homebrew rule ( wich I am ok, but it would be good to have a copy of them at the campaign page so we can read them and know what to expect )
I get that it is :) It will be interesting to see how this works, due to that the game seems balanced to the "falling down/get healed by a comrade" routine.
I will edit Val's turn to make him another ST.
Aaah healers, that's what you get for helping people XD
(OOC: I think the AoO is a good idea, imagine trying to stand up without giving someone next to you an opening to attack. Though I agree that it would be very useful of having a list of the homebrew rules like this so we can make informed decisions rather than just stumbling into them)
Elsara moves over to the unconscious Val. She moves to 16I and protects Val's body from incoming attacks. Elsara's blade rings with thunderous energy. Goblin13 at first thinks about blocking the attack but when he sees the magic energy flowing around the blade, he makes a last second decision to swing left, effectively dodging the attack.
Gendan, you can't see the Goblin from O3 but it doesn't really have any negative effect since you have both advantage and disadvantage to attack at the same time and it cancels out. Same thing for AoO. If anything, it just prevents the casting of sight based spells. Gendan moves to O3 and swings at the curtain using the goblin's sobbing to guide her blade. The curtain rips. You can now see the through O3-O2 area of the curtain. Goblin6 sees a blade rip through the curtain and begin to come down on toward her. She tries to move away but the blade grazes her and causes a cut in her chest that bleeds.
Goblin6 tries to dodge Folki's axe but her distressed state has take a toll on her combat prowess. The axe misses the head but it does manage to chop the goblin's arm off. The female goblin draws holds up her scimitar and says, "I... Can still fight." She has lost too much blood and she falls next to her dead friend. She mutters out, "Who am I kidding? I'm sorry Rory. If we meet in the next life, I hope you can forgive me." She closes her eyes and doesn't open them again. Folki doesn't find any more goblins.
Gymgiel will take advantage of Elsara and Skiirod fighting the goblin by Val and help stabilize him with the aforementioned elbow grease. Medicine Check: 10

Gym, to stabilize Val you need to move to a block that is 5ft of him. You are currently in 18J. You have G13 picered. This means any attack you make on G13 has advantage from this position. Are you sure you want to move to 17I (only place you can move to in order to stabilize Val from and not trigger AoO)?
[OOC] Yup, get keep the friends on their feet. Hopefully Elsara and Skiirod can handle it.

Gym, both hands clasped together, slamming them into Val's chest, "It's! Not! Yer! Time!"
Val coughs from each impact and his body shakes. At last he goes limp, as if he died. He didn't die though. Unless healed, Val will regain consciousness with 1HP in 4 Hours.
Goblin13 looks around. He sees that all his allies are dead and he is surrounded by 4 other adventurers. He says, "Looks like today's the day I'm going to die. It is impossible for me to win this fight. The commander didn't train stupid goblins after all." He sighs and spits out some more blood. "But I won't give up. For us goblins, it's victory or death. That's the situation your kind put us in." The goblin raises his scimitar and slashes at Elsara. Hit: 10 Dmg: 8 The blade is repelled by the magic force of the Mage Armor.
No need to worry about initiative anymore. Everyone, your turn.

PbP Character: A few ;)
(Correcting me if I'm wrong, just trying to catch up on the couple of pages of progression)
Elsara will stand over the unconscious Val and attempt to stab at the goblin who felled him with an emanating thunder spell.
Booming Blade vs. Goblin 13: 10 Damage: 9 piercing, if the target willingly moves before the end of its next turn it takes 5 thunder damage.
(Wow, great for the damage rolls, not so much the attack roll)
(I assume Gendan can see the goblin in P2through the torn curtain if I’m in O3, if not, Gendan will move to Q2.)
Seeing Folki tear through the curtain, Gendan rushes over to silence the screaming Goblin.
Attack: 13 Damage: 4

(Can I suggest that the attack of opportunity can be avoided if the prone character has an ally engaged in melee with the enemy?)
