The armor doesn't listen to Val. It does not have any sense of judgement. It is an uncaring and unfeeling machine that only follows orders from Vlad. It speaks to itself loudly as it ignores Val's words and attacks him. "Target: Shapeshifting Assassin detected. Executing orders to destroy.
It Punches Val in the side of the face with the force of a heavy club, causing some blood to spray across the metal helmet of the animated armor. The druid does however, manage to dodge the second swing. It doesn't look like this Armor can be persuaded. However, now that he's in the basement, Val can try and run out and talk to someone who can actually listen and call off the armor, such as lord Vlad or his maid.
"Okay, then let's go together." She says to Devarus, then checks with Lord Vladimir. "Lord Vladimir, just for our notice, could you inform us directions to the safe room? It is likely if there's an assassin after him that we should do some checks nearby that area, and we'll know where to focus our investigations around."
When all that is settled, she'll offer to hold hands with Devarus as they head down the hallways on the hunt for the enigmatic shape shifting assassin.
Vlad explains, "Of course! From the first floor, go up the stairs but not all the way to the second floor. On the balcony, you'll see a passage going deeper inside. Keep going straight and turn left then right and open a door. Then take the 2nd door and you'll find a tea room. From there go right again and you'll find a large bed room. turn right again and you'll find a door close to the left wall. That leads to the safe room. Now if you'll excuse me, you can make your way up there while the two of us go ahead quickly so we aren't caught off-guard."
He would move ahead of them fast with Runt in tow.
Devarus raises a brow at Elsara, then looks to Runt as if to ask 'Is this a normal thing?' But ultimately, he shrugs, puts away scattershot, and accepts the hand for the time being. His now free hand is kept at the hilt of a blade at his side. "Good luck, Lord Vlad. And take care, Ms. Ruu!" He'd call after the pair. Once the two were out of sight and out of earshot....
(To DM: Are there any armors or maids in the immediate vicinity?)

Val pushes himself away from the armor and he makes a run towards the stairs. He needs to find someone to call off the armor. As soon as he reaches the top of the stairs he calls for the master of the house.
"Lord Vladimir! Lord Vladimir! It's me Valwaryn. Please call of the armors there is no danger!!"
He knows that probably more armors will come at the sound of his voice but he hopes that the Lord of the house stop them.
( If with my movement I reach the top of the stairs, then Dodge and movement. If not, then movement and dash... )
Val runs past the armor that takes a swing but can't connect. He runs out the basement door shouting but unfortunately, he comes out at the end of a hall way with red carpeting and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The walls are decorated with wood and white stone. The hallway curves south and there is a door to the north. The animated armor runs (Dash) to reach Val but can't quite make an attack yet. Val seems to be too far away for Vlad to hear . He needs to search a bit more to find someone capable of calling off the armor.
@ Deva and Elsara: You head down the stairs as that is both the way to go for getting to the first floor and also the way to go for making your way to the safe room. Heading down the stairs, you find yourself standing on the balcony hanging over the first floor that Vlad told you about. To the the north is an arched passage way, decorated in red carpets because Vlad seems to like that color of carpets. that goes past a door on the east wall. The passage splits at the end, one going east and one going west. The walls have dark red wallpaper. The place where the passage splits is a painting in a gold frame of a younger lord Vlad. there is also a small wooden table right under it that has a blue flower vase. The vase is empty.
Val runs towards the end of the hall and looks right, looking for stairs or even the kitchen. If he sees that the right corridor ends then he will open the door if not he will follow that corridor, looking for someone to help him. While he is running he remembers the whistle that Dev gave to him and pulls it out, making it sound as he runs away from the armor.
Meanwhile, seeing no set of living armor at least in the immediate vicinity, and trusting Vlad to be far enough away not to overhear, Devarus tries to hold Elsara back in order to whisper to her. "A moment, Ms. Elsara. I believe I know who and what are shapeshifting assassin is... and If I'm right, I fear I might've gotten Mr. Valwyrn in a bit of a tight spot listening to my paranoia." He admits, letting the words sink in while he looks around one more time. "If you can reach out to him to magically, find out what he's learned quickly, as we may need his insights."

Val runs down the hall, turning the corner while the Armor swings and misses while it gives chase (Dash). Val brings out the horn and blows it, causing the sound to ring through the halls
@Deva and Elsara:
While Deva and Elsara are talking, they hear the sound of the horn.
@Runt (No peeking others):
When Deva and Elsara moves out of hearing range, Vlad pulls Runt to one side and says, "Finally I have a moment of privacy with you. Ever since I saw you earlier today, I felt something. Dearest Runt, I need you. Will you stay here with me?"
(DC 17 WIS save but you already rolled that save previously and got 16)
Runt, suddenly you feel like Vlad is your best friend ever and you trust him and want to take his request seriously and protect him because... *Drum Roll Please*... Vampire Charm!. (Yes, Vlad is a vampire)
"I think we should go check that first."Elsara tells Devarus, grabbing a hold of the handle of her weapon and hurrying towards the horn noise. "I can attempt it once we've done that."
She continues to glance with her magic vision to make sure they don't suddenly rush past a magic aura, the noise potentially being a distraction to move them out of the way.
(To All: I could've sworn I had a signal whistle. But, when I went to check my sheet, Devarus apparently doesn't have it. Just the Horn of Silent alarm. So, I guess that's what he gave Val, but forgot to mention its secondary function... Darn Devarus old man brain!)
Devarus winces at the sound, and then facepalms, realizing another mistake on his part. Before he can say anything, Elsara is already hurrying towards the noise, prompting him to let out an elvish curse under his breath. But then another though has him standing their questioning whether he did or didn't do what he was supposed to do, only to realize after Elsara then had a good lead on him.
"Focus!" He reminds himself, before dashing off after Elsara.

Runts cheeks flush a she senses an odd feeling towards Vlad. Perhaps it's the results of him trying to flirt with her early that Elsara rudly interrupted. Something inside tells her she can trust Vlad, he is a great host and a wonderful man. Shyly she nods. I will crush anyone who stands against you.
Val gets past the door and shuts it behind himself. Val finds himself in a more familiar part of the house. There's a set of double doors to the south which leads back to the front of the house. In front of him is another long westward hallway that end in another door. A passage to the north leads to the dinning room. Deva and Elsara follow to where the sound game from and arrive in the same place Val is in but from the south double doors. Meanwhile Vlad takes the horn sound as being an indication to protect Victor so he takes Runt and begins moving to the Room Victor is secured in.
Elsara has drawn her blade, somewhat relieved to see Val is alright when they bump into him. "What is it? The assassin?" She asks, glancing around whilst waiting for clarification.
“There’s no assassin “‘says Val to Elsara happy to see his friends “it was me trying to scare away the rats in the walls... we need Lord Vlad to stop the armors” he says trying to lock the door.
Devarus starts to say something, but instead hurries over to help Val keep the door closed while they sorted out the locking situation. "I had worried of something like this, but not to such an extent! Also, why did you need to scare away the rats in the walls? Did you turn into some kind of bug? A spider, perhaps?" He asked from his new position. Once he had an answer, he'd gesture to the horn and say, "Ms. Elsara. Perhaps now might be a good time for a bit of a magical solution? Otherwise, I fear we won't reach Lord Vlad in time without breaking his property."

"Huh? Oh right. I think I can disable the footman temporarily if we need to. We could just rush back though, Lord Vladimir will be this way!" She tells Devarus and Val, directing towards Victor's safe room.
If the suit of animated armour comes after them, she will enact her go to sleep magic armour spell so they can disable it without being too rough.

Val, it's going to take a hot second before Elsara and Deva comes to where ever you are. For now there's still that big armor chasing you.
