Uragum patiently waits while Carl casts his spell and then when everyone seems ready he starts making his way towards the guards. He half thought about trying to be quiet but the best he could do was try not to make to much noise. While Auriel kept her weapon handy, Uragum made a show to display no weapons in his hands. "Evening boys," he calls out in a steady and even tone. "I hear ya got a problem with new leadership," he says starting out the conversation.
Hex stays 15ft behind the rest of the party as they make their way towards the first group of lizardfolk and Uragum begins to speak. She crouches low and tries to hide behind any rocks or foliage that may be around and nocks an arrow in her bow, ready to fight if the negotiations fail.
Carl stays near Hex, ready to act if the plan is not well received. He holds his battle axe for reassurance, closing his eyes for a moment and his lips move silently, then he focuses on the scene before him.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Upon reaching the island, Auriel takes a look at their inmediate surroundings looking for any detail they might have missed when looking from afar, specially lizardfolk that might appear out of the blue. Then he will follow after Uragum, almost grateful for not going in stealthily, which would surely be impossible for him anyway. When addressing the cages guards, he'll stand a couple of steps behind the wizard, halberd leaning casually on his shoulder instead of holding it in a more aggressive manner. This will hopefully show that while he's armed, his intention is not to attack right away.
Sylyra walks closely behind Uragum as they land on the largest island. He can't help but keep checking the air, but stays right behind the goliath. Just before Uragum and Auriel continue forth alone, the druid lays a hand on Uragum's arm and asks for nature's leading. He then finds cover to watch out of sight.
"Keh!?" the lizardfolk on the northeast section of the island shout indignantly as the keelboat drifts onto the Island of the Lizard King and Uragum makes his approach with the party. The lizardfolk quickly align behind their apparent leader, drawing weapons as the green-scaled creature offers his reply.
"Tir wux siofme udoka zyak plythu? sjek wux re tenpiswo ekess slathalin, wux shilta war doutan wer tairais kagh zhin sari wer cris. Yth tepoha thric l'gra. Throstulgrael geou totafit udoka persvek wer sulta. wux ahtapo tepoha udoka shekweta wor Dusk-Dusk usv Rootwater."
Behind the dozen lizardfolk, 18 humans and stoutheart halflings gaze out from the first large cage, while the second you can now see holds around 25 various livestock. It is hard to see from across the island, but the cages on the other edges of the island appear to hold nearly as many. Curiously, the lizardfolk on each section of the island have a much different appearance than the others. These lizardfolk are armed with primitive swords, shields, and javelins, but the others on the southeast and western arms of the island appear to carry more crude weaponry.
For Carlthuzad, Hex, and Uragum:
"Do you think us so weak? If you are here to fight, you can save yourself the time and walk into the cage. We have no fear. Throstulgrael will favor us in the end. You clearly have us confused for Dusk-Dusk or Rootwater."
Uragum gives a short chuckle, "Your words betray you. If you aren't afraid, why are you vying for favor? It's because you know Throstulgrael is prone to violent mood swings and it's just a matter of time before all the help is exhausted. A puddle of goo or a midnight snack," Uragum responds. He pauses, "And I wouldn't say that we are looking for a fight. More of an understanding. We are going depose Throstulgrael, whom takes over is none of our concern. We're just proposing you let us deal with."
Auriel doesn't move while the dialogue is taking place. The body language of the lizardfolk doesn't look too friendly and if there's to be a combat, the five of them are at clear disadvantage, so the paladin takes a subtle look at the cages, trying to figure out if they could be easily open with a single swing of his weapon. Even though the kidnapped folk are not armed, they could distract the enemies, throw rocks at them... anything would do.
In any case, this is just a thought running through the eladrin's mind. After that quick look, he focuses again on the conversation.
OOC: is this leader the big guy we saw in the previous island? If not, do we see any particularly big and tough lizardfolk in any other part of this island?
The leader cackles at Uragum's sentiment, soon joined by the others, their cacophony loud enough to turn the heads of some lizardfolk on the other sections of the island. "Throstulgrael ui daar. Dout riyitic geou ti tawura shafaer udoka. Gethrisj renthisj mrith Dusk-Dusk usv Rootwater sjek wux tuor wrujthis. Sharleg astahi seanf throstulgrael kagh ocuir svaklar batobot itrewicric wux. toladaf idol yth elafaer venris," the leader retorts.
For Carlthuzad, Hex and Uragum:
"Throstulgrael is king. Your tricks will not work on us. Go speak with Dusk-Dusk or Rootwater if you want weakness. Turn them against Throstulgrael and see where that gets you. Either way you die and we emerge victorious."
OOC: There's enough brush on the outskirts of the island that you can fairly easily remain out of sight during the discussion, but because of the nature of the island being surrounded by the eddy you were quite visible on the keelboat during your approach.
The leader of this clan is definitely not the same as the big lizardfolk you saw. That lizardfolk was significantly larger than the others you've seen, while this leader that you are speaking to is around the same size as the others.
The cages look as makeshift as many of the huts lying around. They are made of wood and lashed together in many areas. It may not be with a single swing of a weapon, but they definitely don't look indestructible.
Auriel presses the halberd shaft softly with the tips of his fingers, a habit of his when the thrill of an upcoming fight begins to take hold of him. He doesn't know what's being said, but the lizardfolk that is speaking seems too sure of himself for his liking. The eladrin looks at this lizardfolk's companions, wondering if they all feel the same, or if any of them show even the slightest sign of discomfort or fear. If a dragon that has killed many of their own is near, shouldn't they be terrified?
The only two words he recognizes in all the speech are "Rootwater" and "Dusk-dusk". Guessing that these are the two other clans, Auriel gazes at the other corners of the island, trying to ascertain if the lizardfolk there seem as comfortable as the one in front of him and Uragum. He also looks for the giant lizardfolk they saw a while back. That one didn't seem to be fond of the dragon. Where in the nine hells was he hiding?
OOC: Rolled an insight to check if all lizardfolk look sure of himself as the one talking. Got a nat20(total 24). Then rolled a perception to look for the big guy, but got a 10.
Hex frowns as the lizardfolk speaks, glancing towards the other tribes. It would seem the party had bad luck, coming to this one first.
(Would it be possible for Hex to sneak around during the conversation, with the lizardfolk distracted by Uragum?Specifically towards the cages with the prisoners inside.)
From his position, Carl silently reaches into his belt and pulls out a dagger. He turns behind him and makes a “come here” motion with his finger and concentrates his mind on the unseen servant. It comes forth and he hands it the dagger, mentally focusing on the cages nearby. He gives the servant a command mentally, “Cut lashings, open cages.” He orders the unseen servant to walk over to the enclosure and begin cutting the lashings holding them together, hopefully freeing the captives. He waits and watches the conversation with Uragum, sensing this is going from bad to worse and he grips his battle axe, readying himself.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"You are strong, and you are right to be confident. If you think it better to talk to the Dusk-Dusk and the Rootwater, then maybe I can make a deal with them. Then maybe when this is all done, they will see the benefits of allies and make deals to strength their people for generations to come.... I suppose it matters not," Uragum says.
OOC: Sneaking would be possible through various parts of the island but it would be difficult from the eddy you've approached from. These lizardfolk at least have almost certainly seen everyone on the keelboat.
Another note for what it's worth, I don't believe an item becomes invisible if it is held by an unseen servant, so unless someone can find a rule I'm missing that states that, it would look like a dagger floating in midair to everyone around. I'll leave it to you to confirm whether you want to continue with the unseen servant based on that.
The reply comes in the form of more arrogant laughter, a grating sound accompanied by clicks and hisses. "Hak gethrisj, ocuir svaklar batobot itrewicric wux. Visp astahi wer muckmarsh clvin geou lamith thesekir astahi xurwk asta feou, hab'lezrojth ostamith," their leader says.
For Carlthuzad, Hex and Uragum:
"Then go, see where that gets you. Tell them the Muckmarsh clan will enjoy watching them make their feeble, inferior offerings."
For Auriel:
The impression you'd likely get from observing the lizardfolk is that they're following their leader - they seem confident, but their emotions and reactions seem to be in line with his, and their laughter only occurs after his laughter.
There's no sign of the large lizardfolk you saw earlier.
"Sounds like you make decisions for your tribe. At least you speak like you do. What is your name so that I can relay it as a tale of caution to the others when we prove your thoughts are as short sighted and arrogance dictates your emotions," Uragum spits back.
Sylyra was already prepared for this strategy to not go very well, but when the creatures laugh and then Uragum makes his last statement, Sylyra closes his eyes and shakes his head to himself. He begins playing through imagined scenarios, trying to decide what he should do once the fighting begins.
Carl sits there listening, waiting, for a second it appears as if a dagger might float in the air on its own, but it does not, he shakes his head and remains silent. You sense and unseen presence standing nearby him and Carl keeps looking at the crudely fashioned pen holding the prisoners, he seems to be looking over faces, searching for someone, but he stops straining and looking and then focuses back on the conversation. He waits on the others before initiating anything.

DM: Were those of us who aren't Uragum or Auriel able to hide, or were we pretty much in sight from even before we landed on the island?
While Uragum begins conversing with the lizardfolk, Sylyra again looks skyward.
