eldon casts mage armor and shield on himself, and tries to figure out where the invisible opponent went.
Eldon, feeling the ominous presence of the invisible Cacodaemon, quickly casts Mage Armor and Shield, enveloping himself in a protective magical aura. He scans the surroundings, his senses sharpened, trying to discern any hint of the daemon's whereabouts. However, the creature's invisibility shrouds it in mystic obscurity, rendering Eldon's efforts to pinpoint its location futile.
Lord Foppington swiftly reacts to the invisible threat, a shimmering cape of dueling encircling his free arm as he readies himself for confrontation. His stance exudes confidence, his rapier poised for a deadly dance. Every fiber of his being is primed for action, his keen eyes scanning the surroundings, ready to strike should the Cacodaemon reveal itself within his reach. In the quiet tension of the moment, the nobleman's resolve stands as resolute as his blade, awaiting the unseen adversary's next move.

(OOC: Kicking myself for not having Narrakas drink his booze!)
Narrakas curses under his breath several time, but in either anger born of fear or desperation to push out the fear, he rushes for where he last saw the tricky creature and tries to seek it out before calling to the others to "Focus here! It not good sneak, sneak."
Action #1:Stridebehind the brush creature was last seen.
Action #2:SeekAttempt(if necessary) for a 18. If not necessary, Raging instead gaining temp HP.
Action #3: Point Out(if above is successful). If not, necessary as target is visible beyond brush, raising shield.

As the Cacodaemon materializes to the left of Lord Foppington, its malevolent form becoming tangible in the air, the swashbuckler's instincts flare to life. With graceful precision and a deadly flourish, Lord Foppington's rapier slices through the air, a flash of steel reaching for the daemon's manifestation.
The blade strikes true, finding its mark within the creature's monstrous form, tearing into the gnashing sphere of teeth, fins, and spines. The daemon howls silently, writhing in agony as its ethereal essence recoils from the expertly executed attack. Lord Foppington's duelist skills prove their worth in this critical moment, as his strike disrupts the creature's assault and inflicts a wound upon the insidious entity.
The Cacodaemon, undeterred by the initial strike, redoubles its assault.
Bite Attack: 14
Its gnashing maw of dagger-like teeth descends upon Lord Foppington, who, despite the close call, manages to deftly evade the creature's vicious bite. With a graceful sidestep, Lord Foppington avoids the daemon's attack, leaving the malevolent entity snapping at thin air.
With a guttural cry, Lord Foppington maintains his balance, his Dueling Cape fluttering in the wake of the narrowly missed assault. But before the daemon can attempt another attack, it vanishes once more, shrouding itself in invisibility as it prepares for its next strike, leaving the swashbuckler and his companions to wonder where it might appear next.

Not knowing for sure if the creature had some means of shifting away with every disappearing act it pulled, an increasingly more aggravated Narrakas narrowed his eyes and tried again to narrow down its position, before barking out a confirmation of it for others to follow through on it. Failing that, he'd once again hold his shield high but nervously and let the more animal fury deep within become a salve to dull the growing fear.
Action #1:Seekfor a 8.
Action #2: Point Out(if above is successful). If not successful, raising shield.
Action #3:Raise Shield (if not already done w/ Action #2). If already done, activating Rage and gaining Temp HP.

eldon’s club files from his hand, slams into the beast and returns to his hand. Eldon looks at the demonic beast, with a strangely calm and curious expression on his face. a small glass jar of paint rises in the air from eldon’s pack (painter’s kit) and launches itself (telekinetic projectile) at the creature..
18 to hit, 7 bludgeoning damage, and potentially a splash of bright yellow paint…
”I don’t know how often it can go invisible” he mutters, half to himself. A wave of sadness over the loss of his favorite jar of yellow ochre crosses his face.

There is a slight wisp of sulfurous smoke beside Narrakas, just before the Cacodaemon appears and strikes.
((Action #1 moves to Narrakas while invisible))
Action 2: Bite attack (becoming visible while attacking): 25 Damage if hit: 2 piercing & 2 evil
Action 3: Bite attack (still visible): 12 Damage if hit: 5 piercing & 1 evil
For each attack which hits Narrakas make a Fortitude save.

also- is a natural 20/ 27 a crit? if so, that is 14 damage not 7
