"What he said," Clarity adds, gesturing at Samson. "We mean you no harm. No one deserves to be torn apart from all they know. When we get to the next town, we'll get you on your feet, and send you on your way." In a lower voice, she adds, "Three humans and a half-elf....Lord U'den's got a bit of a grudge, does he?"
The half elf woman, does have a slight surprised expression on her face before its steels over once more. In Elvish, she responds to you Samson. "It's been a while since I've used this Tongue, Apologies if im a Bit....Tarnished." She pauses for a moment before speaking the last word, obviously trying to remember a Word in Elvish.
"No offence meant stranger but the Word of a Man means very little to us, although you do seem like a decent person and a Solid group. If you will aid us in returning to Crestfell, We would be grateful." The Other women are nodding as the Half-elf speaks in common.
Logan, The gnome works for Lord U'den. He has said as such, U'den would be his master.

Samson gives a bow, then says, "We're heading to Crestfell, so that would be perfect. Now," he turns back to the gnome. "what do we do with him? Take him to Crestfell to stand trial?"
Geoffrey eyes the gnome up and down, "It is doubtful he would stand trial. If he works for Lord U'den as he said, I see one of two options. One, Lord U'den steps in and grants the creature a reprise. The second option, and one I think more likely, is that he would disappear before a trial could even be set, only to reappear in a ditch later. I doubt it would go over well to have a gnome slaver claiming to work for Lord U'den."
Geoffrey glares at the gnome, "I say we allow the Eternal Flame to judge him. Only She can truly pass judgement anyway. But I will not claim to speak for the group."

Something I noticed when I went back a few pages to see what Clarity knows about Lord U'den....the paper we found only mentions 3 "cattle", yet there's 4 people in the wagon. Something to bring up? Clarity hasn't seen the physical paper so she doesn't know.))
Clarity shrugs back at Logan in response. "I don't know, never met the man, only remember his name and something about the Reach." Turning towards the others, she adds, "I'm not going to get in the way of your Eternal Flame business, but I think we should keep him in sight at least until we get to Crestfell, leave it to them after that."
Samson turns to the group arguing and says calmly, "We can't just murder him in cold blood. So we either take him with us to stand trial, or we let him leave. If we take him to Crestfell, I guarantee he'll be punished. If not for slavery, then for failing Lord U'den."
The 3 human women do not speak, they seem sheepish and scared.
"Forgive them sir, they are unable to speak. Once famed for their Lovely voices, a cruel fate fell on them when they were taken. Their ability to speak forever stolen when U'dens butcher carved their tongues out." The half Elf explains as she turns to the 3 women with a saddened expression. "They are known as, Serah, Lola and Jenn. As for me, I was once known as Cas." None of you have ever heard of these women, Though their names do match the names of the 'cattle" in the letter you had found at Red Hoods campsite.
Geoffrey as you are speaking of the Eternal Flame, you cant help but feel a slight warmth inside you. Every time you Mention U'den or the gnome, the warmth grows. Like the Eternal Flame is trying to tell you something.

Geoffrey narrowed his eyes and sat in reflection for a moment trying to determine what the Eternal Flame was seeking to tell him through Her Warmth, "I do not know why or how. But the Eternal Flame has taken an interest in this man. She has been leading us along this path. From the meeting with the Red Hood, discovery of the list of 'cattle' and now our finding of this creature and his connection to Lord U'den. I think no matter what this Lord U'den is deeply connected to the evil Red Hood spoke of."

Samson shouts some words, and snaps his fingers, and a floating spectral hand made out of green light tries to grab the parchment from the air. (If you just meant spell modifier, it's -2 to the roll)
I did mean Spell Modifier, Apologies I had just got home from work and was dead tired. 20 is still more then enough on a 10 DC.
The Floating Spectral had of green light and arcane energy snatches the parchment in the air before it can get to far away. Quick thinking on Samsons part as the Hand returns the parchment to him. Samson you take a firm grip of the sheet this time, Ensuring that no more wind based shenanigans will occur.

"Perhaps if we knew where they were from." Logan adds, not really sure what else to say or do as the women are clearly wary of him.
He leans down to Clarity, "Is U'den other than human or elf? Did I miss that somewhere?"

Indeed the letter only named 3 'cattle'.
