As Gaius waits, the kobold mage makes its way up towards the tunnel and casts a spell in Relic's direction

The hold person takes effect.

The  nothic takes advantage of the situation to lash out at the warforged 

Attack 1: mx(9,nat-20) //advantage form paralyzed condition
Damage: 8

Attack 2: max(6,16) //miss

and then heads back into the open.

In draconic the mage orders, "Hold the line." and a kobold follows, charging at Relic with a dagger.

Attack: max(6,21)
Damage: 4

From the South, a guttural growling   is  heard as a ray enters  into the cavern,  hitting  Kobold   4.

Raker moves southeast again, surprised to see Relic held and makes a clicking sound of disapproval with his beak.  He pulls the drawstring tight on his bow and looses an arrow at the kobold mage.  

Short bow (from hidden) : 11 to hit, for 7 points of piercing damage and 6 points of sneak attack damage, if it hits.  After that he moves back to the northwest to return to his same point of hiding.  

Stealth : 11 (what rolls…)

Had  some  personal  stuff  going   on.   Sorry for lack  of  response.

Raker's  arrow   narrowly misses  the  mage,  zipping  past.

From elsewhere  in  the  chamber  a  slingstone  can  be  seen  hitting the  mage,  though  his  concentration  on  the  hold  person remains.

Gaius sees Relic freeze up in combat.  “Nothing between me and the nasties with pointy things now,” he mutters.

He strikes hard, calling forth a thunderous blast again.  Shatter centered on the Light rock (green circle).  Thunder Damage = 18

”Who is throwing sling stones at the kobolds?,” he says in the direction of Raker.  “Perhaps there is another faction down here fighting the kobolds.”

The kobold closest to Relic, though doing its best to weather the force of the shatter, falls to the ground. The mage and nothic also take damage, though it seems they were able to avoid the full brunt. However, looking badly beaten and having lost many allies, they turn tail to flee. "It's time to cut losses." cries out the mage. More fighting can be heard towards the Southern edge of the room.
