((Whoops, my bad. I'm not sure where I got tea from.))
For Mub:
After a while the lady behind the bar seems to notice you and brings out a cup of ale and a small plate of cooling squirrel skewers. "Sorry about the wait my poor wet friend. We've had some staffing shortages tonight." She sweeps up the coins from the table. "Will you be wanting a room as well? We should have one or so left."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mirabel, who has been sitting around the bar watching everybody else have varying degrees of success chatting up the locals and waitstaff, brightens at the entrance of Mub.
"My quixotic friend!" Mirabel booms, moving towards him. "Decided to come out of the rain after all, have you?" He motions for another drink, turning to the... whoever is bringing the drinks. "Have you ever met someone like my friend before? An absolute whiz at problem-solving, though you might not think it."
He leans in. "I don't suppose you've got any that need solving? Perhaps for coin?"
The younger man in the blue apron who brings you your final round sort of shrugs when you ask about paying work. "Clan dwarves handle most of the guard work 'round these parts. You could check in with them in the morning. If there was anything strange that needs doing, old Bhaerny out at the watch tower would know about it."

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
After a while, even strange Mub is somewhat ushered off to a room for the evening. The night goes by as peacefully as it can under the circumstances and in the morning you all eventually awaken to the warm smells of breakfast meats and bean-waters. As you emerge from your rooms into the common space, you see the morning crowd is a bit muted compared to last night's festivities. Only a few of the caravan crew you saw gambling last night are huddled around a table, blurry eyed and likely finishing up the last of their morning meal before joining their companions in readying their cart outside. As you look out the window you note that the weather is still pretty bleak and grey, but at least it seems to have stopped raining for the moment.
Behind the bar, the matronly woman from last night is polishing the last of a row of glassware while the young man in the blue apron is sitting by the entry door, fixing the leg of a chair.

Gavin comes down and sits with Peren. “Morning Peren. Nice to get a comfortable nights sleep.” While we wait for the others to come down, I tell him about the stories the two men shared w me last night. “What do you think our next move should be here? Go talk to the clan, find more willing people to tell their ghost stories, or head into the hills to investigate strange noises?”
"We can try talking to the clan, but I fear it's a fool's errand. This town's hiding something, and I'll wager it's the dwarven clans keeping it under wraps." Kathra says as she sits down. "That maid, Della, she was about to tell me something last night but got spooked. I would assume someone's doing the spooking."
She casts her eyes around the bar before continuing in a lower voice. "If there's work to be found, I fear it might be the free kind. Maybe also the kind that gets us on the shit list of a dwarven clan with a penchant for demon summoning, too." There's a flicker of a grin on her face. "The fun kind, in other words."
As you all filter in and get seated, the young man with the blue apron swings by your table to drop off a morning meal; bowls of porridge with what looks like slices of sausages artfully arranged along the edge and cups filled with a dark rich drink that is slightly bitter, but not in an unpleasant way.
Mirabel joins the group at the table. "I've got a lead on some work! We should go visit Old Buddy, or Barmy, or uh... Old B. He apparently is the one in charge of the real weird stuff in this town."
There's a few moments of silence before he snaps his fingers. "Bhaerny! That's his name."
“Well we have several leads, not sure which is best. I do want to say that not talking to the clan, in my humble opinion is not a great idea. They will learn soon enough that we are looking into things. People here have no allegiance to us (strangers) to keep our intentions under wraps. I understand that you believe the clan will treat us with contempt Kathra, but how will they treat us if we come into their town and don’t visit them before doing anything? I fear it’s too soon to making enemies. I said I will follow your lead here and my word is my bond, but allow me to offer some counsel before making final decisions.”

((Hahaha, what do they say about assuming?))
Gavin sighs, ”No, I ordered ale, but tea will have to do.” I drink my tea and get ready for bed
Mub walks over to the bar and sits down then digs in his bad and puts down some coins down. 2
after some time of just looking at the coins he starts to eat one of the berries.

All mub says is "qhy" then he digs more in his bag and polls out some cooking tools.

Mub looks at Mirabel with a dead eye look that just putting off the freeing of the light in side has gone out.
he then paws out two more coins and puts one good berry then make some thing of a coin berry cooky sandwich then push it over to Mirabel.
"Splendid!" Mirabel pops the concoction into his mouth, spitting out the coins with a small spark of electricity.
"These," he says, tapping the coins, "we need to get more of these."
Mub blinks slow then lets out a light "qhy" as he shows off his bow.
After some time Mub nods.
The younger man in the blue apron who brings you your final round sort of shrugs when you ask about paying work. "Clan dwarves handle most of the guard work 'round these parts. Mub eyes go wide as if he has never seen a kid of his age be for but then he just goes back to nodding.
"Splendid!" Mirabel stands up. "Then we'll check out old Barmy tomorrow." He leaves a couple extra coppers behind. "Don't eat them all at once, Mub."
Mirabel then heads for his room to go to sleep.

Peren says “good morning” to the barkeep and sits down at a table

Ones Mub gets up and sees where he is he starts to run in the room trying to get all his thing in order be for he heads down.
As Mub comes in to the main room and see all morning crowd he stops and looks for the nice one who likes to eat coins.

Mub walks over and holds out two coins to Mirabel's face then gestures the height of the young boy.
