Essendrum casts his spell. The muffled scream that comes from the Red Wizard is one that plagues your dreams in the early mornings for times to come. The flames consume the interior of the Red Wizard quickly, bursting through his abdomen quickly. The body spasms as Bjorn's spell takes effect, causing the body to arch. The flames overcome the Red Wizard's body producing a thick deep redsmoke that floods the room around you. You start to cough as the smoke reaches your lungs.

Venti reports that the northeast corridor goes 30 ft., turns to the north, then goes another 20 ft, and ends at a large stone door.

Kiza lets out a cough "I am fine, just burning the undead. Venti found a door at the end the northeast corridor. Let's leave this chamber" she heads straight for the door while keeping a watch for any other threats that may come.
Essendrum follows. “Necromancy is a dirty business and we seem to be encountering it at every turn.” He gives the smoldering corpse one last glance. “Keep your eyes out for his spell book, though. I’d be willing to get my hands a little dirty studying it.”
"I think we may need to burn the body with oil, continue on searching this area and then douse the ashes with Holy Water when we come back." Bjorn pulls out a flask of oil in anticipation.
Fleeing the smoking Red Wizard the party follows Kiza up the northeast corridor. You find a door at the end of the corridor, it is made of oak with iron hinges. The door knob is also made of iron and is crafted into the image of a female face, her mouth opened wide and her features skewed as if she is screaming. Cautiously you try the door only to find that it is locked.

"That tortured face on the door makes me feel uneasy. Let me check for traps first. Essendrum can you check if there is any magic nearby." Kiza carefully examines the door.

With a sharp practiced eye Kiza looks over the door. After a few moments, she is certain there are no traps on the door.
Following along, Spike says, "I thought the trail in the dust went to the northwest--though I suppose any of that could have been the undead." Looking at the door and its unusual features, he asks, "You guys want me to go back and get those rods the statue is holding? They might be useful."

"I know the trail led to the Northwest, but I want to check the other corridors is case we learn more about the catacombs. I am not sure the rods would work. Let me see if this mouth hides a lock of some kind." says Kiza
She crouches down and examines the door for a typical lock. If there is no lock, she asks Spike to get one of the rods.
"I thought the trail in the dust went to the northwest--though I suppose any of that could have been the undead."

The paladin mulled it over before responding. "There's no real hurry here; we have time to go back and check things out later. It's probably safer to stay together--as quickly as those undead appeared, they could probably trap you before we could do anything."
When Essendrum completes his ritual he will propose we collectively walk each of the passages to look for magic and other interesting features a short distance down them before touching the door with the screaming handle.
