The hour is quiet and uneventful. (everyone gets a short rest)
"Alright," called back the paladin in acknowledgement. He took the dropped torch and looked around the area while he waited.
Enoch will look around the area, but not move more than 20 feet from the rope in any direction, so his means of escape is always in full view. (With torches giving dim light out to 40 feet, this should give him a total viewing area that's a 60 foot radius from the rope, if the room is that large.)

Enoch takes a short rest and gains back a Channel Divinity use.

Kiza's strength seems to have returned after the rest.
Essendrum tastes the potion but unless he casts an Identify to figure out what does. It does taste slightly minty though. The wizard inspects the goggles. They have an owl-like appearance & they look exactly like the goggles Kiza possesses. Goggles of Night Putting them on Essendrum finds he can see in the darkness.
Enoch picks up the torch Essendrum dropped and takes a look around. The room he is in is only 20 ft. x 20 ft. The corridor to the west goes down about 50 ft. and then seems to turn south. This is the extent to which Enoch can see without going down the corridor.
The only thing Spikecan find to attack a rope to, that may keep it from budging, is the secret door the party came through.
DM: Spikewill need to make two more Athletics checks if he is going to lower Kiza and Essendrum, as they requested. Bjorn will attempt to go down the rope. Bjorn's Athletics Check: 20
Bjorn starts to climb down and his hands slip from the rope. He falls but, in less of a second Bjorn's cloak clasp flashes blue and he starts floating to the ground.
Satisfied that he has a sturdy anchor for the rope, Spike lowers the others who requested it. He makes a loop in the rope to give a place for a foot support, and he tries to keep tension on the rope and play it out slowly for maximum safety.

Enoch simply nodded, then pointed. "There's a corridor there, goes about 50 feet before turning. I didn't bother exploring it; figured I'd wait for everyone."
Kizamoves ahead of the group, serving as a scout. The corridor extends to the west 50 ft. the turns south. It extends south another 35 ft. to a shut door made of oak with iron hinges. Does Kiza open the door or does she investigate it before opening it?
If it unlocks, she won't open the door and heads back to inform the others of what she found. "I found a door and was able to unlock it though it stays closed"
”If you have cleared it of traps and unlocked it, I will go open it once we are all ready,” offers Spike. He heads that way in preparation, but checks to make sure the others are where they want to be before he opens the door…
Then he opens the door.

The door is a bit rusted but with a loud click, Kiza unlocks the door. She reports back to the party and the group gathers in front of the door. With little effort from Spike, the door opens.

Upon reaching the bottom, Essendrum collects the torch.
”These goggles allow sight. If you have no objection, Enoch, I’ll keep them for targeting spells and be your torch bearer to keep your hands free.”
Essendrum peers into the darkness, making mental notes on the properties of magical Darkvision.
