Looking from Kalhala to the robed figure, Lash grows furious. How dare this piece of crap use his friend like that? Lash again sends his whip cracking out, eldritch energy racing along it's length and snapping out from it towards the opponent...
The force of the attack literally knocks Cuervo off her feet. She instinctively knows that another such blow would likely leave her dead and so she remains prone, lying behind the others.

Jowyn remains where she is to avoid an AOO from Kal. She hopes karma really is as fickle as they say and will cast command on their robed assailant."In the name of Lathander, HALT"
WIS Save DC 13 or target will not move and take no actions for the duration.
Lash - The crackling energy streaks across the room and slams into the robed figure's chest, causing them stumble back into the marble pedestal behind them.
Jowyn - You see a glow suddenly alight around your target and they stop moving, standing in place with a faraway look in their eyes.
The robed assailant stands placidly next to Kalhala, taking no actions nor making any movements.
Kalhala is up! Followed by Lash, Cuervo, then Jowyn.

Kalhala - Target DEX Acrobatics check: 13
You easily seize them in an ironclad grip. Up close you see that it seems to be a drow woman, but she appears to be afflicted with some sort of malady. Festering boils cover her face and you see a few of them have burst open from Lash's spell attack, weeping black fluid down her already dark skinned face.
“What… what is wrong with you?” Lasciel asks as he hurries forward, yanking his role free and attempting to bind the robed figures hands. “What caused this… illness?”
(if being grappled does not allow him to bind them, Lash will instead just Eldritch Blast again from where he is… Different DMs rule on tying someone up differently. 12 to hit, 5 damage if blasting))
Lash - With Kalhala holding her in place, you're able to bind her hands. As you do so, you see they too have patches of festering boils on them. The woman turns to you and smiles, "I bear my master's gift! A blessing all shall soon know!" She eyes you curiously for a moment before adding, "You too bear His gift, brother... Release me! Let us spread His blessing so as to herald His coming!" You also see that she appears to be holding something in her left hand, a device of some sort.
You find that the throbbing pain in your chest is intensified the closer you are to this woman. When she says to release her, a buzzing sound fills your ears, like that of an insect flying by. You find your hands slowing their work and then stopping... Thoughts, unbidden, form in your mind, Why shouldn't you release her? You find yourself turning to Kalhala, Who are they to stop His- You experience a shudder and the buzzing sound and intrusive thoughts fade away. You finish binding the woman without issue.
Cuervo slowly rises to her feet - a combination of being careful and a little sheepish. The blast really did impact her and she is still shaken from its effect. Deciding caution is the better part of valour, she remains where she is - until she is sure the woman is no longer a threat. "Good work,"she offers, "I wonder what she knows of the theft, or the plans that arise from its theft?"
Jowyn doesn't know anything about artificery mischief or their fail-safes, so with the boldness of the ignorant, she will move up to the woman and attempt to pry the device from her fingers.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Grossed out by whatever is afflicting the woman, once Lash has her tied up, Kalhala sits her down unceremoniously. "Yes, where is the amulet, woman? and where did you come from?"
When Jowyn mentions the weapon, he waits for her to try and assuming she isn't able to wrestle it out of the drow's grip, he tries.
Jowyn - The robed woman has a surprisingly strong grip on the object and twists her hand away from yours as best she can. With the other, she attempts to grab hold of your hand as she mumbles a few arcane words. Being at a disadvantage, she can't quite get ahold of you and her inflict wounds spell dies on her lips. Her spiritual weapon on the other hand, is unfettered, and takes another swipe at Cuervo. In her haste to cause as much injury as possible, she misses, smashing to pieces a large display case instead.
The robed woman is still very much a threat and so we will stay in combat until she proves otherwise.
Kalhala - You're able to prise away the item from the woman's hand. It is a copper cylinder with a rough gemstone atop. It resembles a short wand of some sort.
Lash in unamused. And quite frankly torn between wanting answers and wanting this woman gone. For hood. His decision is easy enough since she is still attacking - Lash draws a dagger and attacks.
Aware that the woman is still a threat, Cuervo wishes she hadn't stepped back into the firing line - and thanks her lucky stars that she was not hit again. So she crouches down, hopefully in a postion where she is no longer in line of sight of the woman. "Answers are good, but stopping her attacking is even better,"she offers to the group.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lash - No longer firmly held by Kalhala, the woman twists aside, causing you to miss your attack.
Cuervo - We'll call that a Dodge if you're okay with that?
Jowyn - The woman grunts in pain as you thump her with your mace and though bloodied, she remains conscious.
The robed woman snarls in anger, she points to Jowyn as she turns to Lash, "Snuff out her light brother, attack!"
Lash please make a DC 11 WIS Saving Throw to resist the Command.
Jowyn - Her phrase strikes you as familiar and you suddenly recall the demonhost in the vision saying something similar to you.
She then makes her spiritual weapon try to attack Cuervo again. It manages to hit her despite her attempts to dodge it, catching her across the front with an underhand swing of its lashes.
She takes 5 force damage and drops to the ground amid the broken glass.
Kalhala is up! Followed by Lash, then Cuervo (Dying), then Jowyn.
"No!!" Kalhala watches as the accursed woman first seems to command another of this companions, but then Cuervo...
His face changes as the anger courses through him. His brows furrowing, his mouth in a complete upside down U, his snout wrinkled up puffing short exhales of breath. Even his ears lay back flat like a cats. He wants so bad to use his blade... but the information, he looks over at Lash, something doesn't seem right and after what the woman said...
He turns around his longsword and uses the hilt to try and knock her out.
Nonlethal attack, w/ advantage due to prone and restrained, 22- Damage 12
Kalhala - The woman cackles gleefully at the damage done to Cuervo, but her mirth is cut short with a forceful blow to the head from the hilt of your longsword. Her eyes flutter then her head droops, resting against her chest before her whole body slowly falls to the side. The spiritual weapons blinks out of existence as the woman loses consciousness.
Lash, you may change your action if you so choose given the woman was incapacitated prior to your turn.
After Lash, Cuervo is up, then Jowyn. We'll stay in 'combat' until Cuervo is stabilized or... Deceased...
Lash isn’t looking to kill the woman. With her being unconscious he’ll pull back and avoid stabbing her needlessly, instead looking around to make sure there’s no other attackers and then trying to figure out what she was after here…

Kalhala shakes his head as the spell wears off. Looking at Jowyn, wide-eyed he says, "I'm sorry! So glad I missed!"
Then turning towards the robed figure, he smiles seeing the man under Jowyn's spell. And goes to grapple him.
