They investigate the outside of the house, looking primarily for entrances and exits.
Going around, there seems to be a front door, a back door, a side door, and Pally assumes that there is at least one door leading to a porch that is too high for her to see on top of.

Well, both of you see what Chiv sees, if you choose to go through the door into the bedroom.
Anna walks in, a little on the confused side. She has no idea what's going on with the weather outside, but as it stands the house seems pretty normal to her. Not that she'd know what a big house like this is supposed to look like. Brushing her hand along the bed as she walks, she has a look for any doors out of the room, and for any other details. "Maybe when the townsfolk told us not to come here, it was just because the weathers weird?"

Yes, but the same as the doors, they're generally too high up for Pally to climb through them. The windows don't have any light shining through them, either.

As far as doors go, there's the one leading out onto the porch, and another leading further into the house. Another door marks the presence of a closet, filled with men's clothing that dates from the 1910's and onward, up until what looks like more modern suits of the 1980's. A record player sits on the chest of drawers at the front of the bedroom, empty, without a record on it. Cobwebs have started collecting in the corners of the room, spindly wires extending up until halfway up the walls on some concentrations of webs. In others, it looks thicker, a mass of white and grey contrasting against the dark brown and beige of the floors and walls. The bed itself is made, the thin sheet folded with hospital corners, and the whole thing tucked tightly under the mattress.
Does anyone close the door behind them, when they come into the bedroom? Or do they leave it open?

Stepping through the door, Pally finds herself in what appears to be a mud room of sorts, with burnt orange-yellow walls, and a polished darkwood floor; it's basically just a glorified short hallway with a place to store shoes. There's a bench pressed up against the wall to her right, and in front of her there's a door. To her right is a doorless doorway, but from where she's standing, she can't see what's behind it.
Does she close the door behind her?

Through the doorless doorway is a laundry room, equipped with an english Liberator electric washing machine that has definitely seen better days, and a few racks to dry clothes on. A few shirts and men's slacks are hung up there, and it looks like the washing machine is full, as there is a bundle of colorful fabric sitting behind the circular glass door. On the opposite side of the doorway, there is a door. It is closed.

There's two short flights of stairs, and two landings: one between the flights of stairs, and another down at the bottom. The stairs are all the same dark walnut as the rest of the house, and taking a peek down to the bottom of the stairs reveals a door at the end of the last landing.

And as far as she can tell, she's not able to find what she's looking for. All she finds are things you'd normally find in a dresser: neatly folded shirts and pants, socks, intimates, etc. They're all men's.
