Chivaro's eyes widen, and that's about all he has time to do before she gets a hold of his horns. Drum, just tell me what ya do
*Unless Calo says otherwise…*
Y’all gone see us rollinnnn, we goin down through the snow, cartoon snowball style. And we not stopin until we’re a big snowball.
Eventually, Anna and Shank stop rolling, falling flat in the snow. Anna has Chiv in a total headlock, making sure there’s lots of snow on his face. She’s glowing with pride and confidence, and looks him in his frost covered eyes. “Yield or be burnt my friend, yield or be burnt.” It is utterly shocking how someone so small was able to do so much to someone so big. “I am victorious.”
*calo does not say otherwise. well done*
*okay with that, i think we can move on! gimme like an hour to come up with and update some stuff..*
*Take your time! It is 2:11 though so I may be asleep when you’re done*
*no that's totally fine, and you should prolly get some rest and go to bed. it'll all be ready for ya in the morning and you won't miss anything :)*
*Thanks Book, I’ll make sure to get on as soon as I can! This is all so awesome btw, you’re an amazing DM*

Carrying the deer makes the short trek up to the town a lot longer than anticipated. It's already midday when you arrive. A log archway and sign greet you as you walk into town:
WELCOME TO WIND SPRINGS
At first glance, it looks quite... peculiar. None of it really seems to fit together, and unless you look hard you can't put your finger on why this is the case. But this is by no means a bad thing.
The town seems to be at the height of a busy workday at the moment. People are hauling around wagons of goods across the wide dirt streets, and the snow---having been partially melted and mostly flattened underfoot---doesn't seem to be giving anyone trouble moving about. Maggie waves to a few passerby as she leads you to the nearest general shop, one of the first buildings along the main road from the entrance.
The shop, simply called Denise's General, has the look of a little beach house, complete with white paint and shell decor hanging on the walls. Even the wooden trim is a shallow tide-pool blue. As everyone walks in, a little windchime clinks to life, knocking together a little chaotic tune. The store seems to sell everything. There's a white picket-fence sign pointing to the different sections of the store: Food, Drink, Hardware, Crafts, and Clothing.
"Hey, Denise. How are you?" Maggie asks the shopkeep, a middle-aged halfling reading at the counter, her wavy, salt and pepper hair tied into a low ponytail. "Maggie? I didn't expect to see you so soon! Was hunting successful?"
Maggie explains the situation to Denise, and asks for a wagon for the group to put the deer into. The halfling obliges, disappearing out the back door and reappearing in front of the shop with a small, two-wheeled wooden wagon. Maggie, still holding on to the buck, meets her outside.
"It's a bit rickety, but it should do. An old man that had come all the way from the other side of the mountains sold it to me for three silver pieces a few years ago, and then left. It seems reliable enough." The shopkeep nods. "I'm Denise, by the way, it's nice to meet y'all. What brings you to Wind Springs?"

Anna smiles, relinquishing her grip. "I can't actually burn you, you know. Wouldn't burn a friend. But I hope you learn from this. I, Anna Flameborn, have bested you in this mountain tustle, and have chosen not to burn you alive in the snow, out of the kindness of my heart." She laughs, enjoying herself. "Be grateful! You won't be so lucky next time." She ruffles Shanks hair, putting a little more snow in it, and lightly treads on him as she gets up to join the others.

Denise nods. "That makes sense. Maggie provably told you there's a nasty blizzard heading down the mountains. It'll be here soon, so you better get everything settled before it hits." Denise sighs, climbing up to the railing on the beach deck porch outside the shop and sitting on it.
"We should be keeping a relatively nice bubble here, Jack's gonna plow the main streets every few hours, so if you don't mind a bit of wind and snow you can still walk around little, when the blizzard's not blowing as strong. But you shouldn't go up any of the trails... or to the house furthest down the road." A brief look of regret and sorrow flashes over Denise's face as she adds that last part, but it's gone as fast as it came. "If you need anything, let me know, I've been stockpiling food so no one should be going hungry. Especially with that buck you got there."
